About this property
Live Madrid! Two spaces of tranquility and luxury
2 impressive and luxurious apartments with two bedrooms each and three bathrooms in total. Fourth and fifth floor with elevator, open space, modern and very bright. Exposed heating pipes and brick walls. Kitchen. Rain shower. Wifi, SmartTV, Netflix, bluetooth speaker, nesspreso, ... Excellent location, Plaza Cascorro (La Latina), in the heart of Madrid. Excellent public transport, close to everything and 2 metro stations. All services ... We organize transfers. You will enjoy it!
Feel at home in two modern two bedroom apartments in the same 1860 building in Madrid´s city center, excellent for sightseeing.
It´s a very cozy apartment, with a very warm light, open spaces, and an attractive loft-industrial style.
The space is incredibly well sound and temperature insulated, offering a great opportunity to relax and disconnect from the city when desired.
The apartment displays reminiscences of the original materials like exposed brick walls and wooden pillars. There are also beautiful exposed heating and air conditioning pipes.
Enjoy an espresso while listening to music using the Bluetooth speaker or watching your favorite Netflix show.
Experience our room and rain shower to start everyday in a great mood. The three bathrooms have one.
Both kitchen are fully equipped and ready whether you want to have breakfast or cook a romantic dinner. There are multiple possibilities of food delivery and take away as well.
If you want also to see a Flamenco Show we can also arrage everything for you reserving your tickets in one of the best Tablaos Flamenco in Madrid. Just let us know.
I´d love to improve the experience we provide, therefore feel free to provide an honest feedback at the end of your stay. It´d be highly appreciated and will help me to excel in the future.
The apartment is surrounded by stores offering all type of services.
There is a small store by the entrance with basic groceries, and a couple of supermarkets very close (300 and 700 meters). A huge variety of fresh bread baked can be found 50 meters away. If you´re a foodie person, the huge range of restaurants in the area surely will ake you thrill. All kinds of typical Madrid and Spanish food, but also international can be found. If your plan is to enjoy the famous tapas, La Latina can´t be matched.
last but not least, do not forget to visit "El Rastro" on Sundays. It´s the biggest flea market in Spain and world-wide famous for a good reason: an eclectic mix of antiques and modern goods can be found everywhere. Bargaining is not only not well perceived but welcomed!
I will be available for what my guests need during their stay. Feel free to contact me via phone, Homeaway, and more.
The district of La Latina is an area of Madrid that occupies a large part of the oldest Madrid called "Madrid de los Austrias", with a peculiar urban organization typical of medieval distribution, with wide squares and narrow streets that follow the old Waters.
The Rastro de Madrid (or simply El Rastro) is an open-air market, originally made of second-hand goods, which is assembled every Sunday morning and on holidays, in a "castizo" district of the historic center of the Spanish capital. Started in 1740 around the «Slaughterhouse of the Villa», occupying the sidewalks of Ribera de Curtidoes in the district of Lavapiés, as a semi-clandestine souk for the sale of used objects (trinkets).
The house built more than a century and a half ago is in the Cascorro Square, being the beginning of El Rastro, with more than a quarter of a millennium of existence. Its international reputation (which makes it present in the travel guides about Madrid as a singular attraction), is related to other markets existing in various European cities.
Today and everyday of the week it is an area of Madrid with a lot of life, dynamic and full of young people and modern locals who have contributed to the neighborhood making a very interesting update.
It has a semi-pedestrian character, recommending public transport and, as far as possible, enjoy walking.
Transportation is not going to be a problem at home. We can arrange the transportation from Airport and Train Station if needed.
Most tourist places of Madrid are at a distance which it is better to walk and enjoy the walk, but it is also the metro station of La Latina 2 minutes from home and Tirso de Molina 5 minutes away.
