The Valhalla Suite is a sun drenched south/west facing suite which overlooks Humboldt Valley, situated on the 6th floor. Enjoy your morning coffee on the east facing balcony, or your afternoon cocktail on the south/west facing balcony.

Secure, access controlled building with secure but easy access to your floor provided via 2 high-speed elevators.

The master bedroom is equipped with a King bed, 42" Smart TV, 2 bedside tables with lamps, alarm clock, chest of drawers, 2 full size closets, upgraded lighting and land line. Black out drapes compliment the blinds, along with high end linens, pillows and duvet provide a restful sleep.

The second bedroom is equipped with a Queen Bed, 2 side tables, lamps, ample drawer storage, black out drapes and blinds, high quality linens, pillows and duvet. There is good separation between both bedrooms.

The Master en-suite has a walk in tub/shower combination, and plenty of storage. The second bath has a walk in shower. Both are fully upgraded.

Great location for enjoying Victoria.

This is a two bedroom condo in a secure building, including parking, just two blocks from the harbor and easy walking to parks, museums and restaurants. It has lots of natural light with two outside sitting areas. The condo is well equipped and very clean. The manager is very friendly and professional. We stayed for a week in Victoria and it was the perfect spot for enjoying Victoria and taking several day trips to the surrounding area.

There is a reason that this unit is rated 5 stars. It is well maintained and has every thing you could need for Holiday accommodation. I suspect that Melissa and Rod are the reason. They seem to cross the T's and dot the I's on every aspect of your stay. We had two units in this building for two weeks managed by Melissa and Rod. Both were fantastic. Great views, excellent security and within a 100 meters of the harbour and tourist attractions.

A home away from in a terrible situation

Due to medical reasons I had to stay in Victoria for 6 weeks. I live elsewhere on vancouver island. This condo offered me proximity to all the essential services that I required. The managers , Melissa and Rob, were truely gems. They took time to get to know me and my situation. The condo was clean, quiet and came with all the amenities one needed. Parking was easily assessable and extra parking was available very close by. The bonus was that pets are allowed. This was a very pet friendly building with amble parks close by to exercise your dog and yourself. I would highly recommend this condo or any other place that is managed by Melissa and Rob. Thanks for making me feel as comfortable as I could during a very trying time I’m my life.

September Stay

I spent 10 days in the Valhalla Suite recently. Rod was there to meet me and to show me through the condo as well as the whole complex. The location and the view are perfect for a downtown stay. The kitchen was so well equipped that I was able to cook complete meals on the nights when I wanted to have people over. I highly recommend this suite. Thanks Rod and Melissa. I appreciate your hospitality and attention to detail. I also enjoyed meeting many of the other Astoria residents while coming and going. Lovely people!

Home from Home at The Valhalla at The Astoria, Victoria

Thank you Melissa ! Our party of four felt instantly and truly welcome, at home and comfortable in this modern, immaculate, tastefully decorated & well-equipped, two-bedroom apartment just a few minutes walk from the waterfront and many other amenities, attractions, restaurants, shopping etc in Victoria. It was such a handy location for catching local buses, taxis and car rental too. We felt that the hosts had thought of, and had pretty much supplied everything that we needed, including many little unexpected and thoughtful touches. There was also plenty of well-planned storage for our luggage, clothes and groceries etc which we really appreciated since one of the bedrooms was relatively small. It was great to be able to unpack properly and not to have the feeling of living out of a suitcase, and we all loved the hosts’ efforts for hygienically storing luggage to reduce the risk of bedbugs etc. Wish more places would do that ! The beautiful views of the Legislature and surroundings were an added bonus of course. Sadly, the only thing which slightly marred our stay was lack of sleep due to the terrible noise from construction which was and is still being carried out on the street below and on a building a couple of streets away. The noise from that often starts at 6.45am or even earlier, and there is also a great deal of noise throughout the night from garbage trucks, street cleaners, food deliveries & buses with their engines idling at the Marriott next door. Pack some earplugs would be my advice ! We happily and highly recommend The Valhalla and will definitely be returning on subsequent trips to Victoria !

Perfect Stay in Victoria.

Excellent accommodation . The condo was perfect for our needs, beautifully decorated , stocked well and first class bedding and beds. Mellissa was there to greet us and give us a complete tour of the unit making sure that we were comfortable . What a treat to find fresh fruit, bread, fresh ground coffee , jam and butter to get off to a fresh start. Many Thanks to Mellissa and Rod for providing a very enjoyable stay.
