Lovely house in wonderful countryside
Ideally located for walking just off the Pennine Way and in the middle of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, the house is in great condition and well equipped with a large living space upstairs in addition to a cosy lounge downstairs. Communication was excellent and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. The Yorkshire Dales is a beautiful area with plenty to see and do even if you're not going to embark on long walks. It's not far off the route between Scotland and the South, and we will definitely consider staying a few days here again to break the journey.

Cosy, beautiful and well equipped barn
Amazing barn located in a small hamlet next to the owner’s property. It was very clean and well equipped, including so many little thoughtful extras that demonstrate the owner’s attention to detail. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Couldn’t fault it!

Excellent house in a fantastic location.
4 of us stayed for 3 nights at Hawks Barn. Superbly kitted out with a comfortable lounge, both downstairs and upstairs. Everything you need to recover from doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Natalie was a great host as well, great communication and accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. Highly recommended.

A perfect stay in the Dales
The property is perfectly located in a lovely quiet part of the Dales, with only walkers and sheep for company. The barn has been beautifully converted and was easily found with excellent communication from the owner. The barn was exceptionally clean for our arrival and we settled in easily. The bedrooms are spacious and all named after the Three Peaks. There are lovely features throughout the property which really add to the stay. We went to Ribblehead viaduct to view a steam train and headed to Hawes for the Tuesday market. A wonderful way to end our road trip to John O’Groats and back.

I live with my partner and our daughter, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. I have always worked in the tourism industry and my partner is a Civil Engineer. We love holidays so just being able to help others enjoy their own, is fabulous! We have travelled extensively and love exploring new places and bringing slices of each country and county back home to Yorkshire!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with its position, with sweeping views of uninterrupted countryside looking towards the miracle that is pen y ghent. We lovingly transformed the barn into the relaxed, contemporary, yet luxurious place it is today. It is a rental I would love to stay in, if it wasn't my holiday let!

What makes this property unique

Think ski in ski out, that is us minus the skiis! Walk or bike straight from the door, the list of possibilities are endless.
