This year-round home is located right on the water with a shaded yard to the right, sunny deck and dock on the water. You can enjoy the water for summer activities, ice fishing and snowmobiling (an ITS trail is across the road) in the winter and enjoy the beauty year round. (For larger groups view our other Worthley Pond Property #101117 sleeps 6 .) The water level this home sports a sunroom with daylight windows overlooking the pond. This room contains a queen size bed, sofa, table, chairs, and TV. A second bedroom with two double beds is located behind the sunroom. The main level of the home contains a dining and living room combination, newly renovated kitchen, three bedrooms and two new bathrooms. The three bedrooms and living room over look the pond. A gas fired wood stove adds to your enjoyment in the living room for those cold winter evenings or cool summer nights. The fenced in yard is shaded with an outdoor fireplace and two tables with chairs. Stepping down from the yard you will find A 12' X 15' deck perfect for enjoying the all day sun and dock your boat. A canoe, paddle boat, and swimming float will add to your enjoyment. You will find the home well equipped with the necessities needed for your vacation including: Cable TV, WIFI, and cell phone access (added for 2015 for most phones) .
While we provide many extras to accommodate you during your stay, this is a camp and you will not find hotel luxuries such as air-conditioning. (fans are provided)

Beautiful week on the Pond

We had a wonderful week. The house was immaculate when we arrived as always. This is the fifth time we have rented this property and have never been disappointed. Great location on the pond. House within feet of the water. All water views from the bedrooms. The owners are near by and very responsive in case we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house for family groups. Plenty of beds, great side yard with new fire pit. fire wood supplied, plenty of out door furniture, lots of life jackets for use with canoe and paddle boat. well stocked and comfortable house. Thanks again Mike & Donna for another great week!

House worked well for us. Beautiful view. I stayed in the 2 bed room off the kitchen. My only recommendation is that those beds be replaced. They are very uncomfortable and creaky. The grill could use an update as well. Overall though the house was great. Thanks for having us!

Beautiful comfortable lakefront home

My family had a wonderful week on beautiful Worthley Pond. The house was immaculate and spacious. We loved all the windows opening to the lake. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, boating and shared meals inside and outside. Everything we needed was provided. The owners, Mike and Dotty, helped us with all our questions and did everything possible to make our vacation extra good. We all want to go back next year and stay longer!

Disappointing — always being watched.

Property manager unprofessional. Actually yelled in the house window as they walked by the house “get your dog of the sofa!” The dog jumped up because she alerted to the owners dogs walking by the window. There we a few other things but my first review was censored and I just don’t have the time to meet the criteria for submission. We do not recommend this camp.

Perfect lake spot!

Donna and Mike’s house has everything you need and more. We had the teenagers downstairs and they liked their personal space! The dogs loved the yard and lake. It was the perfect spot for relaxing all week!

Wonderful Week

We had a great stay at this house on Worthley Pond. The weather was great—a weeks worth of swimming and camp fires at night. Donna and Mike were great hosts and the house had more than everything we needed. Looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect views and location!

Spent a week with my husband, kids, and two dogs at this lovely property. Super clean! Within 15 minutes of anything you could want. Perfect location on the water and even though we brought our own kayaks it was really nice to have the option for the canoe and paddle boat. It was a heat wave while we were there, and only a few fans, so we definitely had a couple of unpleasant / humid days with that whenever we weren't out on the water. Well stocked kitchen for basic cooking. Some games on hand for rainy days. My kids' only complaint was having to go through an unfinished section of the lower level to get to the finished section. It made the little ones nervous at first, but they got used to it. Having a bathroom on that lower level would be absolutely perfect, but not strictly necessary. I probably wouldn't bring super little kids here unless I was with them every second given the access to the water, etc. But that's probably true for me of any waterfront property, not just this one! All in all we had a really lovely stay and are so glad we had the opportunity. Would highly recommend to any group traveling with kids over five and dogs. I do think it's best for a large group traveling together rather than two families. We often travel with another family, but we would have had a hard time in this one finding "equal" sleeping arrangements for the two couples.

Just what we needed

We really enjoyed our stay (our first getaway since the start of Covid). The house was as advertised (and then some) and had everything we needed for a long weekend escape. Donna was very easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. I think our dog, Carter enjoyed the trip the most as is typical of a Lab, he has never met a body of water that did not have his name on it.

Idyllic spot... no fish!

The property was quite pretty, the owners very nice and friendly. We had enquirer about arriving earlier than the 2:00 check-in, we were told we could not. When we arrived at 3:30 we were a bit dismayed that the owners were still there and doing laundry. Certainly not their fault that there seemed to be no fish in the lake. We ended up leaving two days early because of that. All in all, it was a nice place.

Relaxing Vacation

Donna and Mike were gracious, accommodating hosts. We especially enjoyed being directly on the lake with use of a canoe. Hiking trails are easily accessible. The home is clean and comfortable and the location quiet.

Worthless Pond is beautiful and very clean.

Asa family we had a blast on the pond. Boating, fishing, tubing and swimming. The property owners were great and very accommodating. The house very comfortable and loved listening to the loons at nighttime. If you have children from ages 2-5 there is not much of a yard and the house is very close to street.

We had a PERFECT week at Donna's property!! The lake is beautiful! There was plenty of room for all of us (10) to be comfortable while staying here. The view from every bedroom is absolutely amazing!

Ideal location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Worthley Pond! The pond is so peaceful and perfect for swimming, canoeing, kayaking or relaxing in a float. The house itself was just as described, plenty of space and a perfect location. The owners were so helpful too. They thought of everything, from nightlights in the bathrooms, plenty of hand soap, spring water and firewood and were close by if anything was needed. This was a perfect getaway. We would definitely recommend this property and would like to com back!

Lovely lakestay in Peru Maine

We had a great time at the lake. Donna and Mike were great hosts. Everything we needed in the kitchen, the laundry, outside was there for us. The only drawback to this place is that there is no town close by with restaurants or giftshops etc. We would still return anyway. It was a gorgeous week. Thank you!

Phenomenal stay in a wonderful place

We had a fantastic week at Donna and Mike’s home. We had all we needed and more to keep our 3 kids (3, 7, 11) busy and more than enough space for 5 adults and 3 kids. Being right on the water with a dock to swim and fish off of was all we needed. Thanks for a great week away in a picture-perfect location!

Fabulous lakeside foliage

We were very happy with the Worthley Pond camp!! It was just as advertised...actually, even better! It was warm and clean, at a beautiful lakeside location and 10 people slept comfortably.

Great Stay for Large Family Group

We rented two houses across the street from each other from Mike and Donna. They were great to deal with. We had 19 in the two houses, and there were plenty of dishes, kitchen utensils, seating and towels for all of us. The pond is beautiful, and we spent 6+ hours every day on the lake (except for one day of hiking). Several of us also enjoyed running around the pond. We also enjoyed eating outside, where there is plenty more seating and tables, as well as a large grill and fire put. Mike and Donna are very nice and offered assistance wherever needed. All in all, a fantastic experience!

A Great Vacation Property

Our first experience renting a private cabin and we couldn’t have had a more perfect vacation. Mike and Donna far exceeded our expectations and we can say this was our most relaxing, no stress vacation. If you are looking for a true get-away we would highly recommend.
