Leaking ceiling!

When we arrived, the first noticed the beautiful view. We start on unpacking and I went into the bathrooms and noticed water damage on the ceiling. I believe it. The entire unit needs to be updated. We had to leave early because the ceiling was leaking and parts of the ceiling were falling off into the bathtub. The property manager was very understanding and helped us find a new place to stay. The only problem is is that we had to cut our vacation by two days, which was very disappointing. I really wished the owners of these condos wouldn’t just do it for the money. They really need to come out and look at the property and fix it like the property managers ask them to. I will never stay at this unit again.

Extremely dated

Overall the place is nice and cozy. However it could use an update. The bed needs to be replaced completely. Husband and I couldn’t sleep in the bed due to it being completely sunken in. We tried using pillows to help keep us from rolling into each other. Also we had our three year old in the bed with us because the bunk beds are in the hallway. Definitely not the place for us.

2nd time around

We stayed in the same condo 2 years in a row now and it did not disappoint. The balcony is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee/view. The location is perfect distance from the beach and front pool. This condo is very spacious and you don’t feel like you’re on top of one another and is easily accessible.

Miravella stay

Our stay was great. The view of pool and beach were exactly what we were looking for, easy check in and check out. Our only suggestions would be a new bed, it was very old and sunk in very bad in the middle. Also need pots and pans we bought groceries and couldn’t cook. We were very satisfied apart from these mishaps. Definitely would stay again if these things were fixed!!

The place was dirty. No internet service still Thursday of that week. My husband has a heart device and Cleveland Clinic monitors him at night but couldn’t because of the internet. He had to go stay at our daughters at night. And try h h e property management really did care. And I’m a bookkeeper this was suppose to be a working week for me but that didn’t happen because of the internet. Finally when the cable company came he said someone had turned. The box off. The property manager even can on Monday and didn’t see that. I will not rent anything that. Coastline Condos has anything to do with

Perfect location

Everything was accurately described in the listing. Location was excellent; we loved walking up & down the sidewalks. Our view was my favorite, people watching PLUS the ocean in the background. Condo was clean & well-stocked. We cooked most meals & had no problems. Couches were comfy. King bed was super comfortable. My girls had no trouble sleeping on the bunks. Beach was close, & heated pool was very warm; my girls loved it! Perfect vacation! We will definitely return!

What a view!!!!

Nice property. View is beautiful ! Clean and comfortable. Would stay again in warmer weather. Property management was very attentive with a sliding door issue.

This unit’s localism great. The unit is in desperate need of some TLC. The small shower didn’t work. The tub leaked. The furniture has seen better days. Patio furniture is crowded and mismatched. With that said great location and beach access. Beautiful view from the balcony!

Great place but could be better

This place is great. Prime location and overlooks the beach. But the downside is that it overlooks the pool too. Pool is a zoo from 9 am until 10 pm so if you are planning to read a book in the balcony. Be prepared to take sun ear plugs. Proximity also eats into privacy. The place could also use some updates. Couch is old and the fan in the living room is wobbly. The place can also use a vaccum cleaner to remove all the mud and dust. Its everywhere and hard to get rids if with a sweeper. We ended up not using the bunk bed because the bed had so much mud on it. We also found a cockroach. Now for the good things- prime location and the elevator helps. The apartment is stocked with appliances. Has lots of books to read and chill. The hosts had lots of beautiful paintings which i presume they did themselves. Awesome paintings. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Overall a memorable stay! Thank you so much!

A great Location with a View

The Maravilla complex is very nice, the condo has a wonderful view and is pet friendly. The condition of the unit which is well used, was dirty and could use some updates. The kitchen wall clock was broken, the coffee pot stop working on day 3 of our 5 week stay.

FALL BREAK 2021

Perfect Location! The complex was amazing, literally a 3 minute walk to the beach where 2 chairs and an umbrella awaited us!! We couldn't have asked for a better week, weather wise! The condo could use some updating...there was a very bad smell that came thru the vents when the AC kicked in, not sure if the filter needs changing or what? Overall it was a great time! Will def be back.. to building #2!!

Great location!

The location was great! Having the balcony overlook the pool AND Miramar Beach was another added bonus. So easy to cross the street to the chair service on the beach. We were within walking distance of several restaurants, a winery, a bike/scooter/cart rental,and several souvenir shops. The whole family enjoyed it! Wifi supported all devices while we were inside due to storms. Plenty of channels on Cox cable and TONS of books throughout the living area. Had a hiccup the last day there but the owner/management were extremely quick to respond and assist. Overall very pleased with our stay.

We visit Destin twice a year and this is the first time we have rented from Coastline Rentals or at Maravilla. Some good things about the condo are the view of the beach, dog friendly, the ease of using either elevators or stairs, the 2 outdoor pools and the fitness center. The parking was great and easy to find open spots, as well . The things that I did not like are that this condo is very run down looking. It is not dirty but it feels dirty when u look at the tile floors, walls, furniture, sofa, etc. There have been some updates in the master and the 2 bathrooms. The main living area and kitchen need a serious total makeover (except for TV). The furniture and decor in these areas are drab, old and depressing. It also has the worst clothes dryer (don’t waste your time and yes, we cleaned the vent) and there is no insulation between the floors. In other words, when you are in the kitchen or main area, you can hear EVERYTHING above you from the 3rd floor. The people above us literally opened their balcony door about 5 times per hour on average each day. Kids were running, doors and cabinets being shut or slammed-constantly from early in the morning starting at 6a till 11p or later. This was not enjoyable or relaxing in the mornings or evenings. I did email the management company the 1st evening and let them know about the noise but I told them NOT to contact me. I mean what are they going to do?? If you rent at Maravilla, I would get a condo on a top floor. My brother rented a 2 bedroom the same week through a owner instead of a management co and their condo was beautiful. They were on a top floor so they had no issues. 2212 was not a horrible condo but I would not choose it again based on my experience, which is why I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars. I have no complaints about Coastline since they really have no control over the decor and the noise between floors. Hope this review helps someone else!

Great Location

The location of this condo was fantastic and as described. The condo could definitely use some updating though this didn't matter much to us. A few minor suggestions for improvement and for renters to know about. 1. The hall bathroom door doesn't have a lock on it and doesn't completely shut. 2. Turning on all three lamps in the living room seemed to continuously throw the breaker, so we only used two. 3. As mentioned in other reviews the dryer doesn't work well at all. We would stay here again as the condos location made these things easy for us to ignore but wanted to mention for those to whom it may matter.
