About this property
Large, well-appointed, Ground Level Apartment with lots of light ,sleeps 6
This ground level apartment is perfect get-away for 2-6 guests, situated in the foothills of the White Mountains area of NH. It is situated within a quaint complex of gingerbread style cottages, which was once a bustling motel in the 40's 50's and 60's due to its location on what was the main artery in the region ( rt 3), before I-93 was built. This bright sunny space features high ceilings, a fully appointed kitchen with full sized appliances, la arge flat screen TV, 2 queen size beds , a pull out Queen size sofa bed, and a large modern shower unit with rain shower head. We are a short 5 min walk to Pemigewassett river, which boasts Summer-time swimming and gorgeous views of Blair Bridge during all seasons. The property is adjacent to the Blair Woodlands Conservation area, with a few trails for a quick morning or after-dinner woods-walk. Plymouth, a short 7 minute drive, is a quaint New England College town, complete with some great restaurants, and shops, and a grocery store. Loon Mountain and Waterville Valley skiing is a short 25 min drive. We are 20-40 mins distance to Lakes Region and Squam Lake, LakeWinnisquam, Newfound Lake, and Lake Winnaesaukee. And there's plenty of world class hiking all around us, also, horseback riding, snow shoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice-climbing, and more.

Cozy ski retreat
Cozy and comfy spot for skiers. Be sure and take a short walk down to the Farm Table restaurant, too. The bed tucked around the corner of the family room was especially comfortable for this picky sleeper. Our hosts were very accommodating of our changing needs.

N.H. fun
At first I was somewhat disappointed because from the property pictures I assumed that we would have our own A-frame "cabin". The owners lived above us but we were never bothered by anything that they did. They just greeted us and made sure that we had everything that we needed.----and it was all there for us and even considerably more than we expected. After traveling for two days across country there was no need to dash out to the store for anything. We The two bedroom accommodations were very good, along with the kitchen, living room, mudroom/sitting room, and bathroom with an awesome shower and sink in a separate little room. The view out of the two sets of picture windows was of the green grassy commons area in the middle of the other A-frame "cabins" and the swimming pool---which does not look like it is used---but we did not have time for a pool anyway. It was very quiet and comfortable beds which made for restful sleeping. The river looked like it would be awesome for kayaking but we did not have the time. Too many family activities for my great-niece's graduation. Hopefully next time. Very nice accommodations. Thank you for a great stay!.
Our unit was clean and well maintained. There was a beach on the Pemi river within a short walk from the unit that was great for swimming. Our host took a power cord that we accidently left at the unit to the UPS store after our departure. A great place to stay!
The condo is everything expected and more! Well kept and close to everything, highway access, restaurants. The owners Scott and Jennifer are fantastic! A+++++
We really enjoyed our extended stay! The location is great being just off 93, and is an easy walk to nature trails on the river. The condo has everything you need, and both Jennifer and Scott are terrific hosts. Cooking was a bit difficult at times due to the lack of solid ventilation above the stove, but other than that it was a great experience.
Really nice setup, easy access to highway just a short ride to the mountains. The hosts were gracious and spent the time to set up the property to make it enjoyable and very comfortable.
Had an amazing time in Campton! This apartment was clean and spacious! Jennifer was friendly and made us feel at home! Will definitely be back!

We loved it!
Jennifer was a very accommodating host. She was there to welcome us and always ready to answer our questions. The place was just perfect for us. It was very clean and it has everything that we needed. Plus, it was just a few minutes drive from Waterville Ski Resort. Awesome!

Cozy apartment in old school A-frame lot
Went to Campton specifically to go hiking in the white mountains. The weather forecast looked really bad and Scott was great about responding to my concerned messages wondering about what to do in case our plans were blown. In the end the weather held out and all was well. Would've loved to stay longer than 2 nights and go swimming in the river/check out other stuff in the area. Scott was a very nice host and I feel like they really know how to run a good apartment rental. All details seemed tended to. Definitely recommend.

Very clean and very homey feeling. Owners are wonderful people.
We stayed here as a 3 day layover before spending a week in Maine. The pictures on the website were a little confusing showing individual cottages. Those cottages are not where you stay. We stayed in the basement apartment of the owners residence. That being said it was a very nice apartment and perfect for us to use as a home base for sight seeing New Hamshire and Vermont. We were very comfortable there. Everything you could possibly need was there. The shower was amazing, very modern, easy to go in and out of. We never heard the owners in our apartment, however the last night we were there someone must have been in the unit above us. They were very noisy. There was a great restaurant right on the river within walking distance of the apartment. Jennifer and Scott were very helpful with any questions we had for them. They are a very nice couple. I would definitely stay there again on our next trip.

Very cute and quiet
the property was the bottom floor of a giant A-frame. The unit was clean and up to date. All appliances and amenities you could ask for. One huge bedroom, one more reasonably sized one. The owners live on site (upstairs) and were extremely nice and accessible. We didn't hear a peep our entire stay. The whole property was beautiful and very peaceful.

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer and Scott Legier
We moved our family to this area in Summer for 2015 from Southern California. We came for the beauty and the life-long dream of living in this beautiful area. Jennifer has a background in design and textiles and has worked hard to make our rental as homey as possible. Scott, a massage therapist, works locally at The Common Man spa, come see him for a discounted hour of relaxation (extended to our guests), or opt for an in-home massage.
Why they chose this property
We are ideally situated minutes off the highway, with easy access to the Lakes Region, or the White Mountain Region. We are located midway between them. Come for hiking, horseback riding, skiing, snow mobiling, leaf-peeping, rock-climbing, swimming, fishing, kayaking, tubing, treasure-hunting, or our assortment of fabulous restaurants in our area. Our home is light, bright and airy, and very comfortable. We are located on the premises, for immediate attention to any issues, or for questions or suggestions. We love catering to our guests! Don't hesitate to ask!
What makes this property unique
Our tiny complex was once a bustling motel and boasts quaint picturesque little cabins situated in a half-moon shape around our main house. The charm of the area was what led us to purchase the home. It is almost like stepping back in time to a simpler era. People who have visited us remark about its "fairytale-like qualities" especially in the winter time when each tiny cabin has a rooftop crowned with snow.
