About this property

Self catering Mas Palleu for 7 people

Mas Palleu has more than two centuries of history and it's located in Sant Miquel de Sacot, in the municipality of Santa Pau.
Situated in the middle of Jordà's beech wood forest, the most protected zone of Garrotxa Volcanic Area Natural Park, you can enjoy peace and tranquillity, be in contact with farm animals and enjoy nice sights that the surroundings offer.

From 1990 onwards major renovations have occurred, resulting in a lot of improvements having been made. Rural life can be glimpsed from each corner of the cottage.
Different farm animals live on the property: hens in the hen run, next to the vacation cottage, ducks running on the hill, chickens, rabbits,... and, the cat and Mona, a friendly dog.

The house, on top of the hill and surrounded by the beech wood forest is a fantastic place if you want to switch off and walk, go by bike,... and breathe fresh air, far from big cities' pollution.
The cottage was built in 1928 and totally refurbished in 2007. It is a fully-equipped house with capacity for 6-7 people.
Beautiful views can be seen from the house's large windows, including Puig of Jordà's Volcano as well as cultivated fields and the beech wood forest.

Que buen viaje

Un ambiente muy cómodo ofrece la casita de Roser que está situada directamente en los alrededores de la Garrotxa. Bien para hacer el senderismo, para relajarse o solamente estar con o en la naturaleza. Roser y su marido nos ha ofrecido toda la ayuda que necesitamos y nos gustaría volver :) en total un viaje de 5 estrellas! :)

Un séjour au calme dans un lieu d'exception

Un lieu d'exception, en pleine nature, au milieu d'une forêt de hêtres. Des hôtes très accueillants et chaleureux. Le gite très bien conçu et plein de charme. Deux jours passés hors du temps.

Wonderful retreat in the forest

We had a lovely stay and would certainly return. Everything was better than described and the host super helpful and attentive. The pool was amazing and the location perfect, great to be able to escape the heat. Walks in the forest were wonderful and the views from the living rooms fantastic.

Superbe petite maison au cœur des volcans et de son parc

Amoureux de la nature, vous êtes au paradis. Coupé de la civilisation et en même temps à 10 min de la ville de Olot. Les hôtes sont géniaux, accueillants.

Casa de 10, propietària de 10

La ubicació és immillorable, al cor de la Fageda d'en Jordà, un dels boscos més bonics de Catalunya. És un bon punt per explorar els entorns (la zona volcànica, Olot, Santa Pau, etc.). La casa és tranquil·la, molt acollidora i amb magnífiques vistes. Està neta i molt ben equipada (hi ha de tot), estris en molt bones condicions, llits còmodes. La propietària, Roser, és estupenda, molt amable, procurant que no ens faltés de res, i sempre disponible però sense ser intrusiva. Hi hem passat uns dies en família i hem estat molt a gust. Hi volem tornar!

Traumhafte Lage, schönes Anwesen

Wir haben eine schöne Woche verlebt. Nach einer kurzen Fahrt durch den Wald erreicht man das Haus, es liegt etwas versteckt an einem Hang. Ruhiger geht es nicht mehr. Aus dem Wohnzimmer hat man, durch bodentiefe Fenster, einen traumhaften Ausblick über ein Tal auf den nächsten Berg. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet, modern und sauber. Außen gibt es einen überdachten Grillplatz den man auch bei nicht so gutem Wetter nutzen kann. Hinter dem Haus einsteht gerade ein Pool mit Terrasse. Alles in allem ein idealer Platz zum erholen und ausspannen. Die Gastgeber sind superfreundlich und hilfsbereit aber zu keinem Augenblick aufdringlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Un fin de semana del Pilar magnifico

Estuvimos muy bien en Can Palleu, en la "fageda de´n Jordà". Un sitio precioso, tranquilo en plena naturaleza y, al mismo tiempo, muy cerca de Olot. La casa muy bien, limpia, con chimenea, unas vistas magníficas y bien acondicionada. Roser nos atendió muy bien y nos explicó cosas que le preguntamos. Nos facilitó todo lo que le pedimos. Muy simpática y muy cariñosa. Unos dias magníficos. seguro que repetiremos.

Privilegiada!!!

Hemos pasado 3 dias en la casa y recomiendo su estancia sin duda. Cuenta con una ubicación privilegiada en medio de la “fageda d’en jordà”, desde alli mismo empiezan muchas rutas a pie y cómoda para visitar olot y sus alrededores. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario , incluso leña para la chimenea y carbón para utilizar su barbacoa ... camas cómodas y muy limpia. Vistas expectaculares desde el comedor. La hospitalidad de Roser es immejorable, acompaño a nuestras hijas al corral a recoger huevos y dar de comer a los conejos. Con ganas de volver!

Perfecte!

La veritat es que es una de les millors cases rurals que he anat. El tracte es magnific, la Roser i el seu marit encantadors. La casa es espectaculars igual que les vistes, tot molt net i molt acollidor. Amb moltisimes ganes de tornar-hi. Gracies per tot!

Excelente, inmejorable

Hemos pasado 4 dias en familia(2 adultos, un niño, un bebe de 3 meses y un perro) en una magnífica casa y en un entorno fantástico. Situada en plena naturaleza, silencio, paz y buenas rutas para pasear. La propietaria Roser y su marido son geniales, muy majos, un trato exquisito y pendientes de si necesitabamos algo. Un 10 en todo. Nos hemos quedado con ganas de más asi que esperamos volver algun dia. Gracias por todo. Hasta otra familia!!!!

Un alojamiento perfecto

Estas pascuas hemos estado en este alojamiento. La casa es muy acogedora, tiene de todo y está en un entorno privilegiado. Los peques se lo han pasado muy bien y han disfrutado con la perrita Rina, las gallinas y los conejos. Pero lo mejor sin duda, son los dueños, gracias a Roser y José Maria nos hemos sentido como en casa. Volveremos seguro.

Estancia de 10

Nos volvimos alojar en Mas Palleu ya por quinta vez y no nos cansamos nunca de volver!!! Los motivos, siempre los mismos, ubicación y entorno excelentes, trato exquisito y una casa cómoda y muy acogedora, en resumen un 10 para compartir en familia .

Escapada muy especial

Hemos pasado una estancia muy agradable, la casa es preciosa, cálida y acogedora. no le falta de nada! Encontramos la casa limpísima y todas las cosas en muy buen estado. La idea de poner la sala de estar arriba es muy buena, ya que se pueden disfrutar de las maravillosas vistas de los alrededores de la Fageda y es una estancia muy agradable. El entorno es privilegiado si se tiene la intención de hacer rutas andando, en bici, visitar los volcanes... De noche se disfruta del silencio y tranquilidad, se duerme bien porque los colchones de las camas están bien y son cómodos. Ha sido como estar en casa pero desconectando de la realidad al mismo tiempo. A un paso de Olot i Santa Pau. La propietaria es simpática y hospitalaria. Puedo decir que es una de las mejores casas que he visitado y si vuelvo a esa zona, sin duda, repetiré. La recomiendo totalmente.

Impresionante entorno

Casa rural muy bonita para ir tanto en pareja como en familia, rodeada de un maravilloso entorno del parque la fageda, casa super equipada con todo y excelentes vistas, sobre los propietarios un trato excelente y cercano, en fin se la recomiendo a todos los que le guste estar rodeado de naturaleza.

Maravilloso!

Es una casa maravillosa!!! Está todo impecable , es acogedor, cálido y todo su alrededor es de una tranquilidad exquisita para los amantes de la naturaleza. Es ideal tanto para ir en pareja como en família ,con niños, con amigos... Me encanta esta casa , me quedé con ganas de quedarme más días, es todo paz y naturaleza. El trato con los dueños es , sencillamente, encantador, son personas amabilísimas, simpre dispuestos a ayudar en lo que haga falta. Además estás en medio de un entorno precioso , pero tienes a 20 min. Olot, donde puedes ir a comprar, a visitar el museo, al cine, al mercado,etc. Lo recomiendo muchísimo, es una casa fantástica!!
