La Gineta is a traditional Andalusian farmhouse, nestled in a quiet place.
La Gineta, a typical Andalusian farmhouse built over 100 years ago, is ideally situated for visiting Granada, Córdoba and Jaén. Its architecture is typical of the farmhouses of the nineteenth century, takes visitors back to past where agriculture and livestock were the economic and social base of this zone.
The accommodation comprises three homes which, while occupying the same building, are quite separate from each other and have their own entrances. They can be rented individually or all together. These homes have excellent facilities, with easy access, and are offered at very reasonable prices.
La Gineta has twice been awarded a special tourism prize. In 2000 it won the award for “Best Rural Accommodation Project in Andalusia” and in 2005 for “Best Example of Quality Awareness Raising in (Rural) Tourism”. Both prizes were awarded by the Red Andaluza de Alojamientos Rurales/RAAR (Andalusian Network of Rural Holiday Accommodation) in conjunction with the Junta de Andalucía (the Regional Goverment of Andalusia).
