Perfect Family Weekend
Pool is awesome, plenty of room. Very secluded so lots of privacy. Would definitely stay here again!
This was a wonderful place for our family. The privacy and pool was great. Being able to take the kids down to the farm and see the animals was awesome. Janice and Steve were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Would love to stay here again.
We had a group of 13. We had plenty of room. Could have brought more. Absolutely beautiful location. Amazing property. Had absolutely everything we could need. Hot tub and fire place was amazing! Game room was wonderful. Loved the master bathtub!
The only cons are some of the light switches dont work or cant figure out what they go to and it would be great to have an extra washer and dryer especially for big groups. We will definitely be back. Im hoping next trip in the summer so we can enjoy the pool.
Did not expect as much as we received. When we arrived we were fortunate enough to check in early. The house was more than we expected and the property was unbelievable. The owners were finishing out the details when we arrived and they we’re very welcoming, As our crew was unpacking Janice and her husband informed us that we could use a secluded area of the river that was located on the property to hang out. A short walk down the hill and we were in paradise, pulled up, grabbed some folding chairs from the back of the truck, and set up camp in the middle of the river and stayed all day. Could not have been more relaxing watching the kids skip rocks, laugh and have fun. Back to the house, everything was clean and the pool was perfect and the scenery was amazing. Don’t second-guess this place. We will be back.
Had an absolute wonderful time. Just know when the sun does down...its extremely dark, and windows in kids play area plus living area have no curtains, so we were all a little uneasy. It made it hard to sleep. The 4th bedroom in the basement made me uneasy as well, due to the door leading outside. And the bathroom in the kids play area needs some updates (towel/ toilet paper rack, a water ledge so the water doesn't go on the floor). However, the house its self is beautiful!! Pool, hot tub, fire pit were a bit hit! Rafting the river and seeing / feeding farm animals was also tons of fun! Such a relaxing weekend! And the atrium has a black snake living in it....we named him "George". Just watch the kids if they go out there.! Thanks for the great "Girls getaway weekend"!
This home was perfect for our three families to gather for our 50th anniversary, three couples and 2 children (4 and 7). The property is secluded, but within easy driving distance to all the Pigeon Forge attractions. The outside pool was wonderful. Because of the extreme heat during our stay, we spent lots of time in the pool, but the hot tub wasn't used at all. The house was perfect, with a room for everyone. the kids loved seeing the animals down the hill.
We had a couple of issues during the stay and our host, Steve, was there to promptly take care of everything.
The house had places for everyone to be together AND room for us to take a break from each other.
Our extended family of 11 enjoyed Christmas at the Round House. We had everything we needed!
Plenty of space to spread out both inside and outside. Lots of fun playing games at the large table, throwing darts, playing pool, and hanging out by the hot tub and fire pit. The design is a little quirky but the kids enjoyed exploring all the little spots. A very unique and relaxing spot.
The Round House is an Interesting and eclectic mixture of styles. The fully renovated and stocked kitchen has Lots of space and everything you need. The large dining table and adjoining family room are well-situated to be part of the indoor or outdoor action. The pool, fire pit, hot tub, and large yard are all a big plus.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are more dated and funky but serviceable.
Eclectic, secluded, spacious home in need of a little love
Pros: The home was perfect for a several families fo stay in and the part that makes this home worth the $$ is the outdoor/pool/grill area. We spent lots of time out there. Beware of lots of wasps though. They provide floaties and lots of seating! It’s a funky home for sure! The kitchen is fully stocked(with 2 refrigerators!) and lots of pool towels. I didn’t think we would use the pool table-but we ended each night as a family playing! A couple mishaps, but they came immediately to fix them!
Cons: The house is in need of some serious updating-the water damage on several parts of the ceiling was very disappointing for the $ we paid. At one point we were down a whole bathroom as the toilet was broken and the shower was scalding hot, it was unusable even after they came to work on it. Need extra sheets left at the house. The AC also was struggling in the main area and the room upstairs at night my in-laws were literally sweating. There was also a water leaking coming from the upstairs bathroom into the basement. (Like I said the fix everything quick) I did read in another review where the river is in walking distance and if you have littles this is definitely not true
Would we stay here again? Yes, if updated and the damage was all fixed.
House was super cool and retro. Nothing like I had seen before. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Pool was fantastic! Very clean and refreshing. Super private and outside area was great for hanging out playing cornhole and other yard games. Restaurants and stores are only a few minutes away. Only issue was GPS does not lead to you to the property, must have detailed directions to get there. Would definitely stay again!
Absolutely beautiful property and an amazing quirky fantastic house! The layout of this house is funky cool. We were a group of 9 and had plenty of room to spread out and plenty of places to gather. The pool/hot tub/fire pit area is laid out in a way that makes it just fantastic to hang outside and have good time. The fun room with the pool table is another fantastic gathering area. Our group usually does a beach week every summer but decided to change it up and go to the mountains this year. We will be back!
We had a very lovely stay at this property. It was very secluded, which we loved. The home needs some updates, and the property owners stated this up front. The refrigerator wasn’t working the day we checked in, but the owners brought a new one immediately. Overall a very wonderful vacation experience.
We had a wonderful experience at the Round house. It was a beautiful house and we enjoyed the pool the most! We are already looking forward to returning next year.
Love getting away from the hustle and bustle of pigeon forge, really getting to experience to mountains, being in the mountains. Amazing view. Superior communication with the host. Everything was perfect. Keeping this property tagged for future vacations in East TN!
Una casa muy hermosa fue una pena q no la disfrutáramos a las pocas horas de aver llegado se fue la luz quedando en total oscuridad toda la noche gracias a la propietaria que se portó como un ángel que en todo momento estuvo pendiente de nosotros
Made great memories in the smokies mountains at a unique property
The overall experience was wonderful seeing the sites and sounds of the area. We loved having the space to spread out and walking distance to the river and fishing. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The property needs a lot of updates and seems to be in transition. The place has so much potential but really needs an overhaul. My kids had a wonderful time and loved seeing all the animals down the road (Deer, elk, donkeys, llama, sheep) and loved swimming in the pool.. (The pool was very foggy)
The house is great and unusual. It is in need of TLC in places. We did have a great time!
Note, it’s a little hard to find. Directions given need updating.
I would stay here again with a large group. Loved the privacy a d outdoor space!!

Great getaway
Wonderful location to enjoy the best of nature. The outdoor area of the house and property can’t be beat. River within walking distance, farm animals, plenty of ways to ride bikes or go for walks. All while being remote yet close to essentials (ice cream).
