Beautiful setting and great location
We were very pleased with our stay at this property. It is in a lovely, quiet setting and is clean, spacious and well-equipped. It is very close to Cortona and a short drive to other hill towns. Camucia is just a few minutes' drive away for groceries. The property owners are very pleasant, helpful and responsive to questions. Would recommend!

Close to Cortona without the crowds
Very nice apartment in a quiet, rural location perfect for exploring Cortona and the surrounding area. We made full use of the pool when not sightseeing. Too hot while we were there to use the cute front garden at any time other than early morning, but it was appreciated nonetheless. We needed some help during our stay and our host, Elena, was always very prompt and helpful. We did hear some noise from the upstairs apartment, especially when they departed early one morning, but this is a condo and the place was otherwise incredibly peaceful.

What else can you ask for?
This is a super location for exploring Umbria and Tuscany around lake Trasimeno. Arezzo, Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi are easily reached. Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Orivieto to the West open-up into Tuscany. Very good and spacy appartment, equipped with all you need for living (and cooking) there. For the two of us, one bedroom was fine. Highlight was the pool; very clean and not busily used. Rather cold water- but nice as it was very hot weather. There is also a private garden in front of the appartment and a table and chairs for using it. Very nice for breakfast outside. You definitely need your car to go anywhere. But then, Cortona is just a few minutes away. We had problems finding the entrance. If you enter "Casa Sparse Cortona" on your navi, you may find it better. GPS-location is: N43.265048° / E 12.009811° (that will guide you to the car-entrance). Passenger-entrance is just opposite the small church.

2 Wochen in der Toskana
Wir waren im Juli 2023 in der Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist relativ groß und bietet alles, was im Alltag benötigt wird. Sogar eine Waschmaschine gibt es. Als wir dort waren, hatten wir 37 Grad, trotzdem war es in den Räumen aufgrund der dicken Mauern angenehm kühl. Die Klimaanlage haben wir nicht genutzt. Tagsüber dient der schöne Pool zur Abkühlung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und stehen für Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung ist schön ruhig gelegen. Mit dem Auto kann man wunderbar die Umgebung erkunden. Cortona, Castiglione del Lago und Montepulciano sind schnell zu erreichen. Auch Trips ans Meer, nach Rom und Florenz kann man von dort aus ohne weiteres machen. Die nähere Umgebeung ist sehr ländlich und lädt mit seinen Weingütern zum Enstspannen ein. Wir hatten einen einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!

Idyllische Ferienwohnung in alter Klosteranlage
Die Wohnung ist dank der dicken Mauern auch bei heißem Wetter kühl, so dass man die Klimaanlage gar nicht benutzen muss. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, um auch selbst mal zu kochen und dort zu essen. Sehr genossen haben wir in den eigenen kleinen Vorgarten mit Terrassenmöbeln und die wunderschöne Poolanlage. Jahre geeignet für Paare, die einen ruhigen Urlaub verbringen wollen oder Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Wir waren im Zeitraum von Ende August bis Mitte September dort und es war angenehm leer. Den Ort Cortona kann man schnell mit dem Auto erreichen (circa 5 km) oder geübte Wanderer erlaufen das Städtchen zu Fuß in einer guten halben Stunde. Cortona ist für uns eines der schönsten alten Städtchen in diesem Teil der Toskana, mit sehr viel Flair, einer wunderschönen Altstadt und diversen Abendveranstaltungen – sowie sehr guten Restaurants. Wir würden die Wohnung von Elena auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

La location assolutamente in linea con le nostre aspettative . Appartamento ( fresco ) molto curato e dotato di tutti i confort ad una passo da una bella piscina in uno spazio verde ben tenuto. La struttura ( una corte antica nel Borgo di Sant'Antonio ) è a 5km da Cortona.

È stata una bella vacanza rilassante, prima di tutto il posto: veramente notevole, un antico molino del XVI secolo molto ben restaurato, tantissimo verde curatissimo, l’appartamento ampio e ben diviso, veramente molto fresco, arredato e corredato di tutto punto, non è mancato proprio niente. Infine un apprezzamento per la proprietaria è stata molto cortese e disponibile,

A fabulous apartment in an amazing location!! Spacious and very clean, equipped with everything one could need for a long or short stay. It is the perfect spot as a base for exploring Tuscany and Umbria, or to just stay put and relax!!!! Ideal in every way....we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Everything was fantastic, as was the host and her communication. A place we will definitely return to....Grazie Mille!!!!
