This has to be one of the best places for its views that I have been to. So quiet and peaceful, sun was out, absolutely breath taking! Lodge was spotless, spacious and would definitely come back. Well worth the money!
Wonderful location with outstanding views. The property is, however, very tired and dated - probably 80's. Fraying carpet, mouldy grouting in the bathroom, broken dishwasher, to name just a few things. Place needs a complete refurbishment- and more comfortable beds and bed linen.
Incredible views but property is looking tired and is smaller than it looks online. Lodges were very close together and there was no privacy on the decking while in the hot tub. The beds were uncomfortably hard and there was a shortage of sockets in the bedrooms. No toilet roll holder and bathroom looked like they hadn’t finished decorating, there was a poorly filled hole which had just been left. They could do with a number on the door, three times we had people try and get in our lodge by mistake, the numbers are on the outside of the lodge which you can’t see in the dark. There was an iron but no ironing board, also no tea towels or oven gloves were left which we had to ask for, no apology given at any point and it felt like we were being a burden for asking. No welcome pack or information about how things worked, local information, etc, which would have been a simple nice touch. Our lodge was very close to the road so suffered badly from road noise, not quite the peaceful idyll that it appears. Overall though a great location for exploring Fort William and Oban areas but for the premium price you pay it could do with being better equipped and maintained.
Excellent Location and view to enjoy the Glencoe Highlands
Great cabin with two nice rooms. Quality efficient bathroom. Very nice kitchen. Excellent dining and sitting area.
Awesome deck and hot tub ready to go when we arrived.
Plus a view of the loch. I would stay there again and even for many days as a home base.
The property has the most beautiful views. A really, really incredible location. The hot tub looked great and was cleaned everyday. The hotel staff were lovely and really helpful. The restaurant and food was great. Good WiFi the bedding and towels were clean.
But overall the property was a bit dated inside and it really needed a deep clean. I hoovered when we arrived but you could see there was lots of dirt under the sofas. The tv is quite old and we struggled to get reception (as we were travelling with our daughter who goes to bed at 7, we had a few tv nights planned). We ended up using the iPad instead.
I didn’t feel anything was bad enough to ruin our stay or even complain but it made it feel like it wasn’t a place that we wanted to relax in. Considering the cost, I wouldn’t recommend this place to stay.

The views of Loch Linnhe from the lodge were absolutely beautiful, we even spotted a couple of seals to our delight! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant served great dishes. The hotel was easily accessible and only a short trip from a local Co-op.
It’s been the perfect place to explore from. 20 minutes from skiing and rock climbing. The lodge is warm, clean and has everything you need for cooking up a storm. Hot tub on the balcony is wonderful. Loved using the swimming pool at the hotel and had a good meal there. Staff are friendly and helpful and communication before our stay was excellent.
The lodge was spotless and perfect size for our family. View is absolutely stunning and yhe hot tub makes it extra special too. There is a hotel attached to the lodges too. The food there is phenomenal and all staff are friendly lovely and service is amazing. Great area to drive about plus swimming pool in hotel. We absolutely loved this place and can't wait to go back. :-)
Jerry is very hospitable. The place is beautiful. The pool is wonderful. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. -- tea, coffee, a tiny fridge with complimentary wine and sparkling water. The views are extraordinary. At the top of a hill overlooking Dingle and the bay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. No tvs in the room (we didn't miss it) but there is a room off the pool where you can watch tv and movies.
