About this property

This beautifully decorated 2200 square foot condo is located just steps from Indian Rocks Beach and the Gulf of Mexico in the small but lovely Island Sands complex.

The condo is located on the Gulf side of Gulf Boulevard- so no streets to cross to get to the beach. Plus, a peek a boo side view of the Beach and Gulf from the very large balcony.

The condo is completely equipped with everything you need, including new furniture and comfortable updates throughout. Each bedroom has cable TV, and it's own full bathroom. The first master bedroom features a king sized bed, TV, walk in closet, plus a large attached bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate soaker tub with jets. The second master bedroom also has a king size bed, it's own TV, and a private attached bathroom with a walk in shower. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed, and is right next to the guest bathroom with a tub/shower combo. This roomy condo sleeps 6 and would be perfect for three couples traveling together!

The main living space boast a an open concept and easy access from the living room to the dining room and kitchen. The main space features a huge living room with a very comfortable sectional and chair, a flat screen smart TV, plus a DVD player, for relaxing and enjoying a night at home after a long day at the beach. There are two dining tables with plenty of seating for everyone, plus bar stool seating for a quick bite to eat. The kitchen is updated and has all the necessities and tools you'll need to cook up your favorite home cooked meals and snacks.

The beautiful sundeck and swimming pool are just steps away from the ocean, and a short walk through the parking garage- no roads to cross! You will also enjoy the gas grill (shared with complex) on the sundeck to grill your fresh catch or some burgers!

There is a washer and dryer for your convenience, linens and towels are provided, and a few beach towels. Free wifi throughout the entire unit for you to stay connected and share all of your awesome vacation photos, too! You have two assigned covered parking spots for your personal use in the garage.

*Please note- there is no elevator at this complex. This unit is located one floor up, above the garage, meaning you will have to walk up one flight of stairs.

You are within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and shops. CVS Drugstore is about 500 yards down the street, plus surf shops, ice cream, coffee shop, bakery, etc. Be sure to go to the Splash Park and water park over by the Holiday Inn Harborside, just a short walk from the condo. Visit the Clearwater Beach area for more award winning beaches, amazing restaurants and nightlife. Enjoy wave runners, parasailing, Segway tours, dolphin tours, deep sea fishing, dinner cruises at the Clearwater Marina or rent paddleboards, boats or kayaks just south of you in Indian Shores. Make sure to go to Pier 60 for the nightly sunset celebration or check out Johns Pass to experience the waterfront restaurants, fabulous shopping and water excursions. Don't forget about famous John's Pass Fishing Village and Boardwalk with so many more things to do, places to eat, and fun for everyone in your group.

Another Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying in this condo, and our third at this complex. The condo is spacious and comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We have always been very pleased with the property manager's professionalism in answering any questions we had. This time there were some minor maintenance issues, and the response to my alert was pretty much immediate and resolution of the problem was prompt.We love the close proximity to the beach, and the ability to walk to several area restaurants, including Slyce Pizza, Crabby Bill's seafood, and Tropical Ice cream and Coffee.We enjoyed Smuggler's Cove miniature golf, Tampa Bay Grand Prix indoor go kart racing, and took a day trip to Busch Gardens amusement park. Some of our party visited nearby Clearwater Marine Aquarium.Also, Pier 60 is always a treat!Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay as always, and would highly recommend Island Sands Condos and manager Sue Elliot at Long Key Vacation Rentals to anyone wanting a great place to stay in Indian Rocks Beach!

Great property in great location

Actually larger than the pictures made it out to be, 2 master suites is a great touch, large kitchen that was well appointed for making any meal we wanted, easy access to trolley and John's pass or Clearwater.

My birthday vacation

We came for a week long birthday celebration! The first 2 days it rained all day! We were so happy to have such a beautiful condo because we stayed in and played games and watched a movie! The condo was large enough for my family of 6 adults and we hosted other family members for dinner! I would definitely rent here again. The beach was beautiful and it’s close to restaurants and shopping!

This unit has everything you need to enjoy the beach! Nice pool that walks right out to the beach. Covered parking, beach toys and beach towels. Easy walk to lots of great restaurants! Gorgeous new kitchen and floors. Very spacious and nice big balcony with partial ocean view.

Great place

We loved so much about this condo: -Convenient location to IRB restaurants and stores -Roomy 3 bedroom with bath for each bedroom -The most well stocked as far as kitchen, I have ever rented. Sharp knifes, pans, measuring cups, etc. -Very kid friendly. Games,etc. Would definitely rent again. Only negatives: - Not much ocean view, but so close we just walked down -Upstairs very loud and very annoying when they are up early. -You have to make frequent trips up the stairs, by very stinky garbage.

Fantastic Week at IRB

Beautiful condo! Spacious and comfortable for us, our 2 adult daughters, teenage son and his friend. (6) Much appreciation for the cleaning staff as the condo was spotless and not a thing out of place. Very impressed! Kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you could need for your stay. Beach storage cabinets stocked with beach essentials and the owner dropped off 4 new beach chairs. We loved the beach area and everything IRB has to offer. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Relaxing beach vacation

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Spacious comfortable accommodations on the beach. Well stocked with beach chairs and floatables. Perfect for sunset viewing. Clear waters. Saw manatees and plenty of fish. For eating we highly recommend: Guppy’s Pipos and Betty’s The ice cream store on the corner. Crabby bills Stay away from Pj oyster

Perfect condo for an adult trip or large family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year staying at this condo for the week and we just love it. We check in on Sat and for the most part our cars stay parked as there are so many places within walking distance. There is the perfect amount of space for each couple to have their own space or for us to gather as a group. Condo is supplied with all necessities you need. The only thing that I would suggest is if you will be in the front room (not suite) to bring a fan. For some reason that room is hot even with ceiling fan. Also so you are not suprised, this is a lower level unit so if it is rented, you will hear noise from upstairs if there is children especially. However, we will be renting again!! Great place!!

Island Sands Consi

Beautiful and spacious place, well stocked, warm pool and short walk to the beach. Now for the bad news. This place was poorly built with no soundproofing anywhere. This unit faces the street so all the street noise is loud. Worse though, is the noise from the floor above. We had 2 families with 5 kids under the age of 7 above us and it sounded like a bowling alley as the noise was amplified into our place. If the noise doesn’t bother you then this is a great place.

Loved the condo. Everyone was happy with their accommodations and location. Sue was great to work with and attended to our needs. Apparently they recently acquired a new cleaning crew that did not meet the standards to which I would think this beautiful condo would have. They had not been cleaning under furniture so when we moved out a chair to retrieve a toy, it was pretty nasty. This made me look under all furniture. Gross. I realize we aren’t living under furniture but that sets a standard for the depth the cleaning crew goes to. Overall we had a great time, we will definitely stay again, and you should book with them because it was an amazing location! They provide a cooler, beach bag, beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, full kitchen with anything and everything you would ever need. You won’t be sorry!!!

Beach vacation with family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment is spacious and clean, and well equipped. It has a heated pool, shared bbq, and direct access to the beach. Three full baths is a definite plus when staying with extended family! The balcony is very large, but the view is not directly on the water. We thought we would be bothered by this, but it was fine, we just spent more time on the beach!! The only drawback is that the apartment is on a busy street at a busy intersection, we were awoken each morning by the sounds of traffic. In spite of this we had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat!

It is a spacious apartment located next to the beach (partial view for wave spotting) and across the road from the Indian Rocks restaurants and stores. Crabby Bills is great for dinner. The mexican place on the corner is great for lunch. And the CVS is there for anything else you might need.The apartment is excellent for a family that needs a little more space while at the beach. We used it as a base for 4 families that were able to fit into smaller properties nearby.Susan at Long Key Vacation Rentals is prompt, friendly, and always gets the details right. Excellent location! Beautiful beach!

We’ve staying along the St. Pete/ Clearwater beach coast for over 40 years. It doesn’t get any better! Beautiful beaches, great restaurants! This condo was very spacious for 3 couples! We would definitely stay again! The pool area was a little small but the complex wasn’t full so it was fine. There wasn’t a direct beach view except from the very corner of our porch (our building sits behind another complex). It’s a very quick walk from the unit to the beach so it wasn’t an issue. We walked every morning and enjoyed both beach walks and on the street. The bay is a short walk and the narrows provides great views too! Great coffee shop across the street! Pipo & Betty’s had yummy pastries and breakfast sandwiches! Guppy’s, Salt Rock Grill, Middle grounds Grill, Conch Republic and Leverrocks are always wonderful! We can’t wait to come back!!
