Surf Court 53 - Perfect Couples Retreat - 2 Bed 2 1/2 Bath

Surf Court is an ocean-oriented complex, 1 block to the beach. Surf Court 53 is a 2 story townhouse, one flight above street level. The famous Van Der Meer tennis center is located 1.5 blocks from Surf Court. The beautiful landscaped courtyard feature a large swimming pool. Surf Court 53 is perfect for 2 couples or a family. There is a King in the Master bedroom and a Queen in the guest bedroom each with their own private bath. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV. The unit is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a nice meal. The condo has a spacious floor plan with a 1/2 bath downstairs. The living room is comfortable with a large flat screen TV, and wireless internet. The balcony from the living room leads to the pool and the view is beautiful looking at the courtyard, the warm sunshine is great to have your morning coffee.

Great stay for my small family

My wife, little girl and I stayed here at the end of May. We really enjoyed this place. It was plenty spacious for us. Everything was clean and well maintained. We loved the big comfy couch. The walk to the beach was easy, there's a beach access pretty much right across the street from these condos (you don't need to go to the main Coligny access). The only negative we had was the main bedroom gets little A/C air flow and the 2nd bedroom gets tons of A/C (because it is right above the air handler). I bring it up just for those of you who are temperature sensitive.

Looking for a Great Place?

It's refreshing to find a listing is exactly as advertised. Clean, relaxing and close enough to walk to the beach if you're adventurous, if not jump in your car and you're three minutes away. Looking forward to returning soon.

Pretty nice place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: some of the condo was refurbished but some was not. Lights burned out when we arrived. No directions for the cable tv.Had to buy WD-40 to get the sliding doors and screen door to work. Front screen door closer was pulled out of the door casing so I fixed that and added WD40 again

We enjoyed it

Our stay was fine overall. The ceiling fans need to be cleaned and the sliding glass doors need replacing. They are hard to open and close. The balcony is small. The kitchen has everything you need and it was nice having a washer and dryer. It was about 8 minutes to walk to the beach. The decor is nice.

Long Weekend - Clean and Convenient

Great Experience

Fantastic stay! A short walk to the beach, plenty of space, and a large pool right behind the property. We were a short walk to Coligny plaza too! The condo came with a beach rental voucher, which was super nice too. We will definitely be back!

This condo was so cute! Very clean and in a great location. The beach is just across the street. Everyone in the complex was very friendly. I would definitely recommend to a friend and I hope to stay here again.

Great place

This is a great beach property. Very nice, but nothing fancy. The pool is right out of the back door, the beach access is across the street, and Coligny is a few blocks walk. I can’t wait to stay again n Ct year!

Wonderful time!

We had such a great trip for our first visit to Hilton Head and we will be back! The rental was very clean, the cleanest and most well kept one we’ve stayed in! It was in the perfect location for our family, close to everything! Buddy and his team were great and always prompt with responses to any questions I had.

Only complaint: The 3-seat & 2-seat LR couches need replacement.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good & bad ... We have mostly rented at Surf Court units since 1980. Surf Court #50 is by far the best SC rental experience we have ever had... with one very large exception. The living room includes a 2-seat couch and a 3-seat couch. Both have very weak springs and need total replacement. Retain the coverings, as they fit in well with the decor of the rest of the living room area. The Master BR has exceptional colors, with the deep blue walls for starters. Both 2nd floor toilets need total replacement. Updated stools now have slightly higher seats, and use less water. We own and rent four single-family homes in Indpls. and recognize good rental properties when we see them. Surt Court #50 is clearly in that class.

Fully furnished kitchen and staples to start out with so we didn't have to run right out to the store. Beautiful view of the pool. Only downside was that the condo was on the backside of the complex so it was a bit of a walk to the beach however we knew this before booking and were able to ride our bikes to beach. Seashack AND Low Country Backyard were our favorite restaurants. I would definitely recommend this condo.

This year I was surprised to find the beach showers were fenced off for seaside villas use only. Wish there was more lighting in the living room to be able to read at night and the outside front stair case was hard to navigate in the dark (no lighting on the stairs unless neighbor keeps their porch light on). Great location

This property is nice, affordable and within walking distance of a nice beach. The unit is on the 2nd floor and the bedrooms are upstairs so you have to climb quite a few steps. The outdoor steps were steep. It was well kept and we enjoyed the private bathrooms for each bedroom.
