About this property
Just Beachy - a stones throw from the sand!
Occupying a prime beachfront location just a stone’s throw from the sand and access to the South West Coast Path is Just Beachy.
The ground floor accommodation is superb for a bucket and spade family holiday, a surfer’s paradise or ideal for a couple looking to explore this AONB or hike along the coast path.
After an action packed day be welcomed into the contemporary open plan interior with charming beachy touches to compliment the surroundings. Sliding doors open onto the garden area with sea views, outside seating and a charcoal barbecue perfect for those long summer evenings, or an ideal spot for morning coffee.
The property comes with two well-presented bedrooms, each boasting a double bed for you to drift off after a busy day. The second bedroom also having a single bunk above.
If you fancy a relaxing evening in, gather your loved ones within the spacious open-plan living room, where you will be delighted with the amply equipped kitchen that awaits you before sinking into the L-shape sofa to plan the day’s ahead or catch up with your favourite shows on the flat screen Smart T.V.
Alternatively enjoy the sunset with a meal and drinks in the beach fronting Blue Bar only a few minutes stroll from the apartment. Adjacent to the Blue Bar are the Moomaid Ice Cream parlour selling delicious locally made treats, and the Porthtowan Beach Cafe popular with locals and holidaymakers alike for its themed evenings, breakfasts, lunches, coffee and other drinks.
To keep you busy whilst staying at Just Beachy, spend the day at the famous Blue Flag beach which is popular with surfers and families. The children's playground opposite the apartment will keep the little ones entertained too.
Porthtowan itself is a lively community which has a well stocked village grocery store and off licence, a beach shop and a surf shop also providing lessons and surf hire. For walking lovers, you will find miles of routes to explore, including the superb South West Coast Path, where you can venture north to St Agnes or south to Portreath. Or enjoy the low tide walk across the beach to the stunning Chapel Porth with its mining heritage and towering cliffs. Alternatively, make your way to the larger towns of St Ives and Penzance, where you will find a wealth of amenities and attractions waiting to be explored. Or further afield the world-renowned biomes of the Eden Project.
Redecorated throughout for 2019.
