This is one of most elegant areas of Paris (trocadero ) . The trocadero square where you have a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower is a 5 minutes walk . you are 10 minutes to the Champs Elysees . The rest of Paris is easily reachable with 3 metro stations at walking distance ( etoile line 1, 2 and 6 boissiere line 6 and iena line 9)

The apartment is located at the second level without elevator of a xix century building . The building is very secure.

The apartment consists of a main room with a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa bed, a bathroom with a large shower, a closet with a combo washer and drier, a separate toilet and 1 bedroom with a queen size bed. each room has a door and its own independent entrance.

Great location and a very comfortable apartment

Easy communication with Olivier. Clean and appropriately appointed apartment and everything worked well. There are 2 flights to climb but that’s easy. There are boulangeries and small supermarkets within walking distance. I recommend the coffee next door and the Vietnamese take away opposite. The 16 th is a lovely area to live in and so close to a couple of metros.

Great location

Great apartment with everything you need for a short stay in Paris. Comfy bed and close to all main attractions ,yet very quiet area. Only downfall was the noisy squeaky floorboards and lounge (sofa bed) was very uncomfortable when coming in from a day out. But overall great place for getting around Paris.

Paris Apartment in a Great Location

We were in the apartment for over a week and found it to have everything we needed. Additionally it was very close to the Eiffel Tower and all forms of transport. It is a great place to stay, you need to be relatively fit to scale the spiral staircase for a couple of floors but worth the climb.

Great place in great location

This place is in a really great location. Very safe and plenty of restaurants within a five minute walk Eiffel Tower about a 10 minute walk. Metro train within 5 minutes. Very comfy bed and great shower. No elevator and on the second floor Overall I highly recommend this place for your Paris stay

Perfect location

We loved staying here, great location between Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The apartment was exactly as pictured. The bed was super comfy. Everything we needed was supplied. Olivier was excellent with communication. We felt very safe. Having a washing machine was fantastic. We only used the Metro twice as we enjoyed walking everywhere. We got to see so much more this way. Metro and supermarket close by. Many places to dine at. Overall an excellent place to stay. Thank you Olivier and Francois.

This apartment in Paris is fantastic. Great location. Restaurants, cafes, metro, Eiffel Tower , arc de triumph and champs a lycee all with in walking distance. Very clean. Beautifully set up. Would definitely recommend staying.

Quiet, comfortable, beautifully-decorated apartment

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this apartment for 5 nights. Great location in a quiet street in the 16th arrondisement, close to all amenities, with view of the Eiffel Tower from the front door. Well-equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, and very comfortable bed. Check-in was easy, and Olivier provided a good overview of the apartment and all amenities. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lack of regard and understanding

I am not one to write a negative review….even if there was an issue that just bothered me a lot. However, what I experienced at Olivier’s place and directly with him was unacceptable. The first night we arrived, we were charged an extra 40 euros for being 6 minutes late to the 9 pm checkin time. No grace was given and he refused to listen to what actually happened. After that, we slept and woke up red bite marks on our bodies… bite marks that match those to bed bug bites. When told about this, while I have at least 8 bite marks on my face, he blamed it on a food allergy. It is highly unlikely that myself and my friend would both have the same reaction when we ate different foods and have no food allergies. Olivier was not in the least sympathetic or supportive. Rather, he turned the issues around on my friend and I as if we did it on purpose. He got very assertive with me with his tone and his refusal to listen to the facts. He really did not care if we were okay or if there was anything he could do to help. It was all about him and how he has all these VRBOs and this doesn't happen. Well, after having a Telehealth meeting with my doctor, I was told that it does happen and did happen. I pray that those who book with him, never have to experience what we experienced. He absolutely depleted our energy with his lack of regard for our needs and devalued such an incredible city that we would have love to have experienced more of.

View the Eiffel Tower

This was a great location with lots of restaurants within 1-3 blocks. Olivier, our host, was very quick to reply to messages before our arrival and was very thorough in reviewing the amenities of the apartment when we arrived. The bonus was the washer/dryer.

Magnifique séjour à Paris

Nous avons adoré notre voyage à Paris. L’emplacement est extraordinaire à 3 minutes du métro. Tout près des grands monuments. La chambre était très bien avec toute les commodités. Le prix était juste pour la qualité de l’endroit et de l’aménagement. Olivier est un excellent hôte. Je lui ai posé des questions avant le voyage et il m’a même appellé au Canada pour nous aider. Perfect location in Paris

My first time in Paris but definitely not my last! This stay made my experience even more enjoyable! Such a perfectly centralized location between Eiffel tower and Arc. Very walkable city and in both directions. If you visit, best be ready for so much to see by foot! My step-meter was inundated every day, then remember that you are returning to an apart requiring 2 spiral flights upward - phew!! But surely worth every step! The bed was also super comfortable and shower warm. If you are coming to have equal time inside as well as out this apartment is your dream come true! Grateful for the opportunity!

It is perfect!

Absolutely loved this apartment. It was in the perfect location right by the Eiffel Tower and Champs D’Elysees. It was a mother daughter trip with my 10 year old. The apartment was comfortable, safe and just lovely. Olivier was wonderful in setting up our stay and helping us check in. We never needed to contact him while we were there as we had no issues. I would recommend this rental. It was exactly what we needed for the perfect trip.

Wonderful location

We had a delightful stay here. Olivier was a great host. The apartment is located near many restaurants, grocery, and boulangeries. There is an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from the front door.

Great Spot In Paris Near Eiffel Tower

Olivier was a great host allowing us to check in early. The spot is in a safe neighbourhood and walking distance to metros. Comfy bed, clean…if you’re fine with carrying luggage up stairs this is the spot for you

Awesome location but the apartment's staircase is unfortunately the drawback

On souhaite d'abord remercier Monsieur Olivier pour son professionnalisme ainsi que son hospitalité. Monsieur Olivier est super sympa. In regards to the apartment itself although those living in the US and Australia will certainly miss spacious areas however, hat's off to the guy who managed to design spaces in such a tiny apartment. You do get all the basic appliances including the washer/dryer (not a separate electrical air dryer that you use at home) but it's useful and does the job making it easy to have clean clothes all the time. Personally, I couldn't bear the serpentine staircase considering that the apartment is on the second floor so with luggages or shopping bags it's quite a pain. I also wish that the ensuite had a door rather than a curtain separating the bedroom and bathroom. The curtains would need a quick wash as well as the wooden floor in the bedroom and living room need some repair for safety. The 16th arrondissement where the Chaillot apartment is located is ultra nice and quiet . Lots of shopping facilities within walking distance. You can even spot the top of la tour eiffel from Hamelin street Unfortunately we could have enjoyed our stay in the best way but we got the fluso had to remain inside for days. Being francophones France will remain our top destination and we will always LOVE the French people who are so warm, kind and friendly! We had a really nice welcome in France Merci beaucoup!! Thanks again Mr Olivier for being there for us.

nice place

nice property overall, easy communication with manager, good location. we had to change the sheets because we kept getting bit up by some kind of bugs, not a problem after changing the bedding… be prepared for no door to the bathroom containing the shower, only a sheer curtain. Olivier checked us in, and he was hospitable, thorough and made sure we had all necessary information for our stay.

Fantastic Location!

This by far has been the best VRBO experience I have had. Oliver was so accommodating and the place was very easy to find. We had asked for an extended stay on our day of check out and was able to stay a couple extra hours which helped us so much to not carry bags around before our train. Everything was so nice and if I ever return to Paris, this is where I would stay.

Great Parisian Place

Great location, apartment was in excellent condition, lots of amenities and owner was great. Quick, clear communication and was even able to help us out with luggage storage. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a cute apartment in a prime location.

Charming

Nice little apartment. It had everything we needed for a couple of nights' stay. The bed was comfortable; the shower was perfect. I agree with one of the other reviews; the couch was not very relaxing after a full day of walking. We would stay in this area again after being in crowds all day; it was nice to return to a quiet place. There are five cafes/restaurants near the apartment to start or end your day. It had a great view of the Eiffel Tower right outside the door.
