Really enjoyed the lily pad lodge.
Really enjoyed the lily pad lodge. Wonderful location for taking the dogs to the coast and being out the way at the same time for some relaxation. Beds were comfy, sofas were extremely comfy and the hot tub was the perfect temp. A couple of negatives were that the dogs wasn’t allowed upstairs and the TV in the main lounge didn’t have Netflix which I would say is almost a necessity nowadays. There was an option for Netflix on the Blu ray player but would need a 20m Ethernet cable to connect. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Amazing place! Booked to go back in July! A robe or bigger towels for hot tub would make this place perfect for us! (Only minor but worth noting)  Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a fantastic week at the cottage and our 2 french bulldogs loved the space and walks.
We had a fantastic week at the cottage and our 2 french bulldogs loved the space and walks. The lodge is very spacious and everything is well thought out with no half measures . Everything is quality. The log burner was great and with the underfloor heating you don’t really need it but it looks great to see the fire going with the dogs laid out in front. We loved listening to the owls hooting at dusk and dawn. There was a horse and a donkey in the paddock one morning when we were driving out to go to the coast. I pulled up and they both came running to us when I stopped the car to look. The horse stuck his head over the fence and through my open car window to say hello. Ha. I got some good photos of that and we’ll frame one as a great memory of Lilypad. You want for nothing here and this lodge is a credit to the owners, Lisa and Tom. We were left to enjoy our holiday in complete privacy and we’re going back in May next year. We usually have 4 holidays in cottages each year but if we were just having one, this would be it. The hot tub was great and in May the weather should be good to make the most of this together with the BBQ. The garden is completely enclosed so the dogs can enjoy it with no chance of getting out unless they swim across the pond. All in all, this was one of our favourites and we’ve stayed in some great places. We’ve only been back a couple of days and can’t wait for next May to come around and go back for another fantastic holiday. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A comfortable and luxurious lodge which was well equipped and in a lovely setting.
A comfortable and luxurious lodge which was well equipped and in a lovely setting. The beds were very comfortable and the en-suite bathrooms to both bedrooms great. The snug was ideal for quiet time and a doze. The dogs enjoyed the walk from the cottage to the next village and were fascinated by the Moorhen chicks that trailed up the lawn from the pond. The hot tub was a relaxing end to the day. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lily pad lodge really has everything you need for a fabulous holiday.
Lily pad lodge really has everything you need for a fabulous holiday. It also boasts the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in on holiday. Normally I always get terrible back ache by the end of the week but not this time! The hot tub was divine! The only issue we had was the lake at the bottom of the garden. Obviously I knew it was going to be there but my rescue Lurcher discovered after a couple of days that if he walked through the lake he could take himself off for a walk! This meant we had to keep him on a lead in the garden, as there are sheep nearby, which was annoying. He is an odd dog though and our other dog wasn’t in the least bit interested in going off for a walk by herself! The lovely owners said they would extend the fencing further across the lake, so hopefully even escape artists will be confined in the future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is definitely a luxury accommodation and the best lodge we have stayed in. We had a fantastic time. The owners are very friendly. The garden is extremely private with a lovely lake at the bottom. Great walks near for the dogs and a nice tea room only a stroll away in the next village. The lodge itself is in a beautiful spot and is very spacious. The beds are not comfortable and could do with replacing the mattress or buying a very good mattress topper. Other than that we loved it there but will sadly not be able to return due to the beds

Beautiful place to stay, so peaceful and lots of lovely countryside to explore.
Beautiful place to stay, so peaceful and lots of lovely countryside to explore. Even our 2 teenage boys were happy wifi and hot tub. The Ducks were a delight to sit and watch. Never too far to drive to see the sights. We visited Lincoln, Skegness, Boston and Cleethorpes. The accommodation was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend this place.

We have just got back after throughly enjoying a much needed break at Lily Pad Lodge.
We have just got back after throughly enjoying a much needed break at Lily Pad Lodge. When searching for places to stay, it can be very tricky finding a place that ticks boxes for everyone so when we came across Lily Pad Lodge we were so pleased. It did not disappoint. By far the best family/dog friendly place we have stayed at. Luxurious decor, furniture and appliances plus suitable for all. The lodge is simply stunning and had pretty much everything we needed even the little things. We were greeted by a lovely thoughtful hamper of goodies for both us and the dog. Location was lovely and peaceful and allowed us the chance to put our phones down, switch off for the week and enjoy some quality family time. We stayed during the heatwave which caused the lodge to get incredibly hot especially at night. We couldn’t see any air con system. Had I of checked the weather predictions I would of taken some fans for the rooms. We did meet the owner during our time at the lodge who was very welcoming and did mention that if we needed anything to just call but we didn’t want to feel awkward. The only negative thing about the lodge is we did find it needs a good dust. There are lots of spider webs and flies which are expected when it’s particularly hot but I’ve never seen so many flies. Because of this we didn’t want to open any windows and tried to keep the doors closed as much as we could which didn’t help with the heat! Apart from that minor grumble, It’s very clear the owners have put a lot of time and effort into the lodge, thinking of everything to ensure an enjoyable experience all round. Thank you so much for a lovely break.

Superb accommodation that exceeded our already high expectations.
Superb accommodation that exceeded our already high expectations. In a fantastic quiet setting. Most dog friendly place we have stayed. Plenty of dog friendly pubs within driving distance. 7/10 for local amenities but that is one of its plus points, it really is a get away from it all retreat. Dog friendly beaches a bit of a drive but worth it when you get there. Hot tub a bonus! Friendly animal loving hosts. We can't imagine anyone would be disappointed if you are looking for a get away from it all break.
