Enjoyed the house for SB weekend 2025 and enjoyed the fact that the good guys won the game. GO BIRDS! House affords a safe 12 minute walk to a great watering hole at the beginning (or end) of the French Quarter, Lafitte's is one of the oldest bars in town and a fun start (or in our case, end) of shenanigans. house was clean and beds are comfy. Pictures are accurate- not fancy, but all was functional.
the house was very clean all rooms were clean and nice. The back courtyard was wonderful. Close walk to the French Quarter /Bourbon Street like a less than 10 min walk. Everything was far enough away from the noise but close enough to enjoy
Perfect spot for a group of ~10 people. Plenty of beds and perfect set up. We were just looking for a place to crash because we knew we'd be out on the town most of the time, and it was perfect for us! They had plenty of plates, cups, towels, etc. for everyone to use.
Only thing I'd recommend is for the owner to check on the settings for the thermostat. We'd set it to a certain temp before going to bed, but then wake up to a hot room so I went to look at the thermostat and it has gotten pushed up to 78. I think it may just have a pre-set on the thermostat that just needs to be changed. Not a big deal though, once I changed it back to what we had it, the place cooled off nicely.
Would definitely book it again!

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
So we rented this property mainly based on the amount of bedrooms and proximity to French Quarter.
We went on a family vacation with 4 adults and 3 children.
The good, property had plenty of room for all of us, it was a short walk to the French Quater, and the property manager was very easy going and let my brother check in early.
The bad, there was no hot water for showers, at all, we had to get used to quite chilly showers for the entirety of our stay, we mentioned it to Will and he suggested letting the water run longer b/c of old pipes but Unfortunately that didn’t help. It really was the worst part about the property. Also small things like no hair dryer, broken coffee maker and no washer dryer to wash towels. With 7 people bathing daily that became an issue.
The ugly….my brother was putting trash outside and a renter from house next door spit on my brothers head from second floor of that house. It was really gross and made me really nervous about the types of people staying so close to my children.
Overall the house was really charming and would have been much better with warm water for showers. Obviously you can’t blame this homeowner for actions of someone at another property but I thought I should mention the spitting since the properties are so close and you have to be real careful especially when traveling with children.

Very nice traditional Nola house!
My family and I had a very good stay in the house. It's a very cute traditional house, beds were comfortable and the hosts were very easy and accommodating. Bathrooms and kitchen are modern and comfortable.
The "shotgun" style house mean people have to cross a bedroom to go in other rooms, which means some bedrooms don't have much privacy for couples.
The outdoors patio is nice, but doesn't really feel part of the house and it is shared with neighbors.

We Loved this House
We have stayed in many of this hosts' homes. This one was perfect for our 8 friends. We love the location. The house has really great character with high ceilings and plaster walls. The house looks better in person than in the pictures. they have done some major improvements since they images were taken. There's new central air that works really well and they redid the kitchen and there's a new paint job plus they exposed the brick chimneys and redid the bathrooms. The house is one block from Armstrong Park, which is apparently the birthplace of Jazz. Very cool. there are also two coffee shops on the block. would definitely recommend this place. Thanks again!

They made it right!
Nicole the property manager was amazing and very helpful through the stay. The house had multiple units and the first night we stayed on the top floor unit. The ceiling was lower and not ideal for a group of guys and there was some damage from the previous stay. Treme Cottage (D) was great though. High vaulted ceilings and a great size for large groups. The location was convenient with only a 15 minute walk to the Quarter. I would definitely work with Nicole again. Thanks!

Very Highly Recommended!!! Best way to see new orleans!
We really loved this place. It was perfect. I have stayed in a bunch of Nola's places and this unit is very unique. it has great light and a ton of space. the renovation is really well done with a lot of exposed wood so you can see the original architecture. This place was totally clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. also the central AC works great which is a necessity in new orleans. I felt right at home here and would definitely recommend for travelers and tourists. very easy short walk to the french quarter and there are some really lovely cafes on the block and a great coffee shop around the corner. also in the spring and fall you can walk to free concerts a couple blocks away in armstrong park.
