The Monte de Santa Luzia culminates with a beautiful monastery. Here you can enjoy the panoramic view over the city and the funicular climb.

Enjoy the Atlantic beaches of fine golden sand or the spectacular river beaches of the Lima River. We recommend Moledo Beach, sought after by the wealth of iodine and stunning landscapes.

To visit different natural environments and glimpse the fantastic heritage of the city, do not dispense the walking routes at your disposal.
The Feasts of Our Lady of Agony are the highlight of any summer in Viana do Castelo! This party is born of the devotion of the men of the sea coming from Galicia and Portugal. Processions, flowery carpets, and ethnography are simply fascinating. Come and get involved in the spirit of the greatest Portuguese pilgrimage!
