Excellent luxury cottage

The Bakery is ideal for a quiet and very comfortable getaway. Non slip bath mat and handrail in shower would be welcome.

A delightful stay

The cottage was warm and comfortable and everything worked perfectly. It was reasonably well appointed in the kitchen though I could not reach the small plates on the top shelf. It was a pity the chocolate cake left for me was out of date as it just gives a bad impression even though it was fine. I had a very pleasant time there and enjoyed the local pub.

Great place to chill

Lovely property secluded in small village yet just up road from Moreton-in-Marsh and short drive to all the best villages in Cotswolds.

Just Brilliant - Book This Place

This accommodation was delightful in every way. A welcome pack of fruit, cake, and coffee, always makes a great first impression. The place itself is tastefully furnished and decorated and feels like a home from home. The attention to the little things makes such a difference - a good wifi service, a decent TV which starkly contrasts from what we have just had in Cumbria! Not as though you necessarily plan to stay in - but researching the area online does require wifi that is reliable. Watching the odd Netflix movie in 4k requires a punchier service than a dial-up connection. Appreciate this attention to detail. Full of character, this place made us relax, given everything we needed was there. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen well appointed, and the courtyard pleasant for a pre-dinner drink: a good place and such a quiet, peaceful village. I would thoroughly recommend it.

A pre Christmas week in the Bakery

Me my Husband and our dog Isla stayed in The Bakery for a week. It was such a gorgeous house. And to make it extra special we arrived to a very pretty Christmas tree . The log fire was so cozy the beds were so comfortable the village was very quaint. Everything about our stay in this property was good. And The Cotswolds at Christmas time is absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for somewhere to go and you’ve been looking for a clean comfortable beautiful property then look no further. You’ve just found this little gem. We loved every minute of our stay here and so did Isla the dog

Perfectly located clean, cosy cottage

Lovely cottage in a perfect location to explore the cotswolds. Beautifully decorated, clean & very cosy . The welcoming goodies were much appreciated we had a wonderful relaxing holiday. One small thing a shower mat in the bath would have made me feel a little safer while showering

Week stay at the Bakery

We had a lovely stay at the bakery. The cottage was immaculate and had everything you needed for your stay, lots of little touches including fresh cake! The location was ideal for visiting tourist areas including Moreton in Marsh, Stow on the wold, Bourton on the water etc. Great customer service and owners were always on the end of the phone if you needed them. We will be booking again soon!

Amazing little place to stay

Helpful books and guides on the surrounding area provided by the owners. We had our 7 month old border terrier with us and he loved it too! We booked this place for our mini-moon getaway and the owners even left a card, chocolates and prosecco out for us which was a lovely touch. We would 100% go back here!

A much needed rest

We stayed at The Bakery for a week in July. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and more. One of us slept well in the double bed but with the floor being uneven as expected in an old building it was uncomfortable for the other who was having to sleep on the angle. The facilities were good but anyone with mobility problems might struggle getting in and out of the bath. There were books with suggested walks and we did the ones to Batsford aborattum which was enjoyable also to The Broadway Tower which was hard work but worth it for the views and cafe at the top. We mainly ate in but one night ate at the local pub about 5 minutes down the hill. To finish off our week we hired a canal boat for a day out on the river Avon. All in all a relaxing break and just what we needed
