Lovely spot
Lovely house in a very nice location. Spacious and the kitchen is well kitted out for home cooking. Close to a few un-crowded beaches and lots of the attractions in Connemara.

Perfect
One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. Really superb views of the sea. Remote and quiet everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms too. Even solar hot water. We will definitely return to Atlantic Sunset.

Atlantic sunset
The house well equipped. Floors under beds not properly cleaned. Long grass under clothesline needs cutting.

Great holiday home away from the crowds
We stayed at Atlantic Sunset for two weeks with family coming and going, some of whom we hadn’t seen for a few covid years. Lovely place to stay. No wi-fi, which is a plus as it made us relax more and have conversations. Fully functioning everything. Lots of kitchenware. Cleggan has a nice seafood restaurant which we visited quite often. Also went to Clifden for food and music, great. Weather wasn’t too good but did not detract from the stay. The Abbey outside Letterfrack is a must to visit. Ground great to walk around. Would highly recommend this holiday home. A little out of the way but there are lots of walks, beaches etc. Lovely.

Could be Excellent!
It’s a beautiful house in an amazing location. Great solitude and scenery make it very special. To take it to the next level… 1. Stock the bathrooms with towels TP and paper towels for length of stay. We had to search for towels upon arrival after a long day of traveling. First breakfast would be perfect with baked goods and coffees. 2. Get WiFi for the house so guests can check weather, set navigation, make plans, research… 3. Supply a notebook with information on how appliances/heat/hot water/fireplace trash/recycle works. Recommend the best restaurants, places to buy food, where to have a pint. Let people know where they can run, walk, hike & visit the beach. Day trip recommendations, brochures would be helpful. Have a library with books on local/Irish history, local nature guides, fiction, nonfiction, maps, music cds, dvds…let guests write in a guest book. All of these suggestions are pretty standard customer services wherever you go. It saves guests a lot of time and energy. Next time we come we hope you’ll have these things in place!

Peaceful Connemara
We had a wonderful stay in Connemara. We recommend this house. The area is very quiet and calm. You only hear birds and the waves... It would be great if there was basics in the kitchen such as oil, salt and pepper etc. But otherwise, everything was perfect.

Atlantic Sunset Aughris - lives up to its name
We had a fantastic 2 week holiday based in Atlantic Sunset. We were able to witness several beautiful sunsets. Ideal location for anyone who enjoys walking, cycling, kayaking fishing etc. The house had every thing we needed and very friendly help near by if required. It's a small, but enjoyable walk to the nearest pub. Well worth a visit.

Switch off
We had a wonderful relaxing break in Atlantic Sunset. A lovely remote setting in the heart of Connemara, with wonderful views of the Atlantic from every window. This house is in a truly special setting. There was great walks in the area where one can really switch off. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

it is a a very comfortable house with excellent appliances
Atlantic Sunset is in an idyllic setting with views of the sea and mountains all around. It is near beaches and only 15 mins from Clifden. It is a few minutes from Sweeneys in Claddagh Duff and Olivers in Cleggan.

Beautiful house in a lovely location
The house is in a really unique location with views over to Omey Island and The Twelve Bens on one side and out towards the Atlantic on another. It was in immaculate condition and super clean - it felt like we were the first ones to ever use the bathroom it was so clean!! Tommie made sure everything was ok for us and even put up Christmas decorations for us in the house! Would definitely book again.....

Excellent cottage, beautiful location
A beautiful cottage, well maintained and spotlessly clean, with stunning views all around. A peaceful location, but not too far from Clifden for dining out and shopping. The owner kindly took the time to ensure we had settled in. A very cosy cottage, and would definitely return!

A little bit of Heaven
We have stayed in many properties in Ireland and this property excelled our expectations. The property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Everything that you need was provided. The owners - Tommy & Breda were very pleasant and helpful. The property was very cosy and comfortable. Property finished to a high quality and standard. The location is quite remote but exactly what we wanted. The area is very quiet, peaceful with breathtaking views. Sunrise and Sunsets were spectacular. So if it is peace and quiet that you are looking for then this is the place to go. We would highly recommend it and intend to return again.
