Quick trip

The house was clean, beds were comfortable. There is not bedrooms on the main level. The main bedroom was in the basement, it was cold down there but the covers were plenty to keep me warm.

Beautiful House

We had a wonderful vacation despite some extremely cold weather. The house was warm with a beautiful view of the valley and wildlife. We got snow but we were still able to get in and out of the neighborhood with little trouble and no 4 wheel drive. Our snow tubing got canceled so we had lots of fun just hanging out at the house. Thank you for a great trip and wonderful memories!

Absolutely wonderful

This cabin was extremely clean, the beds comfortable, and the view was exquisite. The kitchen was well supplied. We were two senior couples celebrating a big birthday. We hope to return with my son and his wife sometime.

Great proximity, communication and cleanliness

We stayed for a quick girls weekend getaway and this property was great for us! The house location is quick to Boone and Blowing Rock. Well equipped kitchen (needs a cutting board but I think that was it!) Beds were clean and the property seems larger than posted. Showers worked great, linens were clean! When you initially are getting to the property, definitely a “mix” of houses as you drive up to the house but to be expected in the mountains. Saw a little wildlife when we were there too. Great communication with the host too.

Clean, quiet, and peaceful...great views...great location

This was one of the cleanest VRBOs we've stayed in. My husband always has allergy issues when we travel because of dust, pet dander, and strong scents that can be present in rentals. We were so thankful to find this very clean home that doesn't allow pets. No allergy issues this time! The house was very accommodating with everything we needed. The linens were all excellent quality as well. Ashley was great at communicating with us. We appreciated the "country" feel of the area. If you want a peaceful and quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle but still just a few minutes away from it all, then you will love this location! We will definitely stay here again! Thank you, Ashley, for a great home away from home!

Amazing Stay

We stayed here during move-in week for App State with our daughter. We moved her in on Tuesday and stayed the rest of the week. The house was perfect, clean, and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed, plus amazing views. We have already planned our return-this time we will be bringing our son to visit his sister.

We're Matt and Ashley from North Carolina, USA. We love living in a smaller town and enjoy access to lots of outdoor activities. Matt is an avid mountain biker and road cycler, and we love riding our bikes along one of the local rivers. We both enjoy cooking and eating good food. One of our favorite weekend activities is visiting our farmers’ market for fresh veggies before having breakfast with friends at our local coffee and donut shop. We enjoy traveling together, and one of our favorite places we've visited has been Tuscany.

Our goal as a rental host is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We will communicate as much as you prefer and we would love to provide recommendations on dining and activities. Whether you are staying for business or pleasure, we hope that our home is a retreat and provides what you are looking for in your stay. We hope that you fall in love with this scenic mountain town!
