This luxurious 4-bedroom 2-1/2 bath one-story home has vaulted ceilings, double-sided indoor fireplace, flat screen TV's, and washer/dryer. In addition to an exquisite dining room, the large open kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, eating area and breakfast bar. Master bedroom has a king-size bed; two more bedrooms have a queen bed and two twin beds (with two roll-away beds in the walk-in closet); the fourth room serves as an office and includes a comfortable Euro-lounger for an extra guest. Relax in the spacious outdoor living area with a gas grill, refrigerator, fireplace, stone benches, and outdoor furniture. Enjoy the grand view of 50-foot pines and Sam Rayburn Lake embedded in the Angelina National Forest. Marinas and golf course are nearby. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available as well as linens, towels, indoor games, and outdoor games including ping-pong!

Loved this place!!

We loved our stay! House was amazing, very clean, spacious, and had great amenities! Location was beautiful and peaceful! Our kids loved the ping pong table and cornhole! Patio area was great! Would definitely come back!

Beautiful location and fabulous house!

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at the Lakehouse. The house is really lovely and very well equipped. The owners thought of just about everything you will need to have a fun and relaxing time. We especially loved the fireplace and the view of the lake.

Perfect get away for family and friends

Spent five days on this property and enjoyed every second of it. The owners hospitality was 5 star and the property was 5 star as well. Never had any issues and would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting a lake get away. Will be a returning renter!

Awesome place to stay on lake Sam Rayburn.

This property was the perfect getaway for our family. Beautiful, comfortable home in a quiet location and on the water with the ability to beach your boat on the property(dock not in the water yet, but this was no issue with a bass boat). Plenty to do at the house also for those not wanting to fish, such as enjoying outdoors on the beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, playing ping pong, board games, card games, etc.

Secluded Waterfront

Mark was very communicative with us about the check-in and out procedures before and after the stay. The house was perfectly nestled in a private area shared by other respectful residents. We had access to the water, which was perfect for boat and kayak use, and minus our boat having an engine issue, the weekend was perfect. We could enjoy three home-cooked meals each day and relax in the comfort of the house in the evenings. We appreciated the quiet from the norm of everyday life, and we are thankful to Mark and his wife for allowing us the opportunity to stay in their beautiful home.

Beautiful lakefront property!

We loved everything about this lake house! Picturesque setting, lovely outdoor space, and gorgeous, modern finishes with stunning views of the lake. The hosts were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating! We appreciated how they made themselves available to us for any questions we had during our stay. We enjoyed every moment we spent at this property and look forward to staying again next time we visit Lake Sam Rayburn. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home & property

We rented the home for myself & siblings as my parents live at Sam Rayburn Lake but their home is too small for all of us. The property is in a beautiful area on the lake & the home is well laid out and so comfortable. We had a family dinner one night & was so pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked. We ate outside & shared special time with our parents. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you - Carlene

No privacy

The house is nice and has everything you need for your stay. My issue was the privacy violation. The owner was nice but he watched us during the entire stay on surveillance cameras. The neighbors were watching my family with binoculars, and harassed my guests by stopping them and asking about the cars parked at the house. It’s unfortunate because I really couldn’t enjoy my vacation when I paid a lot of money. We decided to leave a day early, and the owner did reimburse me for the one day. The other issue was the 3 car limit. That was an issue since I had family driving from different directions. Also didn’t see anywhere before I booked that there is a visitor limit during the day only overnight.

Labor day

Had a great weekend trip with my family and friends! First night we did get a lot of rain but we made the best of it and played board games. The second day we went to the lake and enjoyed the beach area. Defiantly would recommend this house!

Beautiful property

This property was beautiful! We had our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) stay and we were very comfortable. Plenty of room to play and explore, loved having bikes to ride and the ping pong table was a fun treat for our teenagers. Will definitely be back to enjoy this property again ❤️

Luxury accomodations

The home is gorgeous, the property is beautiful. But due to heavy rains the beach access was not good. Lake view is limited by abundance of pine trees on Corp of Engineers property. But Powell State Park is only 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the swimming area, the park and the store. We were able to launch the boat there and enjoy a day on the lake and then bring in the boat.

Great getaway

Mark was an excellent communicator leading up to our weekend visit. Great property backing up to the lake. The house is great and everything upscale. We had a guided fishing trip that was unfortunately cancelled due the weather and high water, but we caught some fish out back and enjoyed some kayaking (and catching more fish) at Powell Park, just 10 minutes away

Great location! Great owner!

This is a great place for fishermen to stay. It is about 10 minutes from the Powell Park boat ramp. It has a courtesy dock. The house was immaculate. All of the appliances are modern technology. The driveway is big enough for two boats to be comfortably parked. The owner was extremely hospitable and detailed. The only thing I would say in addition to that is to make sure that you've got all your groceries because it will be a little ways to go from there to somewhere to go pick up things.

Fabulous house in the woods

We loved staying at this house! The house itself is beautiful and very well-cared for. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the hosts have thought through every detail. Our kids loved the ping-pong table (so much that we came home and bought one!) We wish we could have stayed longer!

Fully stocked and clean

We are a family of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and every room was very clean. The fireplace outside was probably the most relaxing activity in the evening. No water activities, but had a nice boat ride and was able to tie off a little ways down from the house. We also enjoyed walks down the quiet private road. Owner very accessible and we would rent again.
