At the crossroads of Anjou and Brittany, between Nantes and Angers, comfortable accommodation. 2 double bedrooms (one with mezzanine for additional sleeping), large living room with fireplace, open and well-equipped kitchen. Quality materials: stone, slate, tiles. Nice view of the countryside and the vineyards. All on the ground floor. Private indoor pool (water heated all year round, max 25-26 ° in winter). 3 terraces (south and west) over an open garden. Private parking under shelter. Sheets and linen included. Barbecue and garden furniture. Very calm. Possibility to rent an independent double guest room (100 meters away).
Accepted animals. Electricity consumption included in the rental up to 30 KwH per day.
Easy access: TGV station (4km) and highway (5km).

Hébergements conforme a la description. Hôte attentif et réactif en message/appel. Reçu par la voisine qui est tres gentille et a l'écoute. Nous avons passer un tres bon séjour complètement dépaysant au mileu des animaux (âne, poney, poule...) Et la piscine vraiment un plus 😍

Ein wunderbares Haus....

...nur leider nicht bei Regen. Die Gîte entsprach unseren Erwartungen, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut stimmig, der Pool ist ein Traum, aber wir hatten großes Pech mit dem Wetter und bei Regen wird das Haus innen sehr feucht. Wir sind deshalb vorzeitig abgereist, was aber nicht in die Verantwortung der Vermieter (sehr freundlich) fällt.

Charmante maison vue sur les vignes et les chevaux.

Charmante petite maison, au calme, disposant d'une piscine intérieure très appréciable. La maison se situe dans un petit hameau. La vue donne sur des vignes et 2 enclos (l'un avec des chevaux, l'autre avec des poneys et des ânes/mulets). Des poules en liberté et très amicales, passent aussi dire bonjour. C'est très dépaysant. Du bois est a disposition pour faire des feux de cheminée. La maison est à 10min en voiture d'Ancenis où se trouve tous les commerces. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir dans les environs. Petit bémol: il fait vite froid (séjour mi septembre) et la facture d’électricité grimpe vite. A savoir que nous étions que 2 (maison pour 4), et nous avons utilisé un seul chauffage 3h un soir, les plaques de cuisson 2 fois et le four 1 fois, et nous avons dépassé d'une quarantaine d'euro le forfait électricité inclut dans la location. Ce n'est pas bien grave, cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir, mais c'est à savoir.

Relaxing week in the Loire valley

This is a beautiful gite in the French countryside. Surrounded by vineyards, horses and a few chickens. We took it easy this week enjoying the views for art, pool for the kids and walks to the local town for baguettes and wine. The owners were very accommodating and helped made our stay one to remember.

Bliss in Loire!

I read another review which called this place a hidden gem. This couldn’t be more true, in fact that name under sells this wonderful and peaceful home deep in the Loire Valley. Your host is very welcoming and makes things very easy. The accommodation is outstanding. Try to keep it a secret though!

De très bonnes vacances dans ce gîte familiale a la qualité irréprochable. Tout est là pour passer d'excellente vacances : Le gite, la piscine, les équipements et des extérieurs au top. Excellent séjour !!

Séjour au top. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Marie Odile qui nous a renseigné sur les lieux et activités. Nous avons rencontré Mme De Lamothe qui est très gentille et professionnelle. Que dire ? Allez y les yeux fermés. Vue magnifique, le calme et la nature. Les chevaux, la petite poule que nous avons surnommé Huguette qui vient tous les jours chercher son bout de pain. Le couché de soleil.. Les montgolfières qui passent au dessus de la maison. La piscine intérieure chauffée vous permet de vous baigner à volonté. La maison est charmante et bien équipée. Nous sommes très satisfaits et nous y retournerons je pense.

D'Anjou Delight

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and stunning views that the property offered. With 3 patios and spacious grounds there were plenty of vistas to view whilst al fresco dining, including the often mentioned impressive sunsets and the entertaining horses, ponies and chickens. Marie-Odeil & Laurence were very helpful throughout our stay. Thankyou both. The accommodation, including the indoor pool & kitchen, were perfect for our weeks stay. The gite is well positioned to take in the beautiful villages along The Loire. Ancenis is close by for all your grocery needs but Lire, Ouden, Champtoceaux & Saint Florent le Vieil offer great opportunities for a coffee, a drink or a wander. Ancenis also offers direct train service to Nantes, taking less than 20 mins, to enable you to experience the many attractions this city has. Overall, the peace and quiet and great hospitality ensured we had a wonderful time.

Auszeit an der Loire

Sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft, ruhig und sehr erholsam, wir haben auch besonders den inhouse-Pool genossen. Die Ortschaft verfügt über einen kleinen Supermarkt, der alles Notwendige bereithält. Die Ausstattung des Hauses selbst ist umfassend und überdurchschnittlich, insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Exceptionnel !

Emplacement au calme mais proche du village. La maison est très bien équipée et décorée. Terrasses extérieures avec salon de jardin et table. La piscine privative chauffée et fermée avec accès direct depuis la maison donne sur une seconde terrasse. L'environnement est Bref un hébergement à louer sans hésiter dans une région superbe. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur politesse.

Gîte dans les vignes

Gîte très bien situé au milieu des vignes avec une très jolie vue y compris sur les poneys qui broutent juste en face ! Accueil très sympathique. Il est très facile de promener le chien même si le temps a plutôt été très pluvieux ! Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine bien chauffée, c’était très agréable avec la pluie dehors… l’endroit est stratégique pour visiter les environs. Nous reviendrons pour mieux profiter des bords de Loire !

Excellent in every way. Great animals, chickens and horses in the field next door. Indoor pool works well. Interior cool in the hot weather. Good quality modern kitchen. Quiet but local facilities easily accessed. No problems.

A little retreat

Greeted by Marie lovely lady who we had a laugh with even though her english was as limited as our french. The property was a tranquil bliss. The property was spacious and of agood standard, it is in need of a redecoration in the near future as there was damp patches appearing on some of the walls and was starting to look tired in areas. Both bathrooms were of an excellent standard and look like new fits. The beds were not to my liking but i did get an ok sleep on them. The outside space was ample for entertaining and one area led on to the pool, which was a god send in the heat...look its not perfect but would i recommend...yes definitely beautiful little retreat to watch the sunsets with my soppy fiance... i would recommend

Besser konnte es nicht sein

Wir haben uns bei Laurence gleich zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus bietet alles was man für einen gemütlichen Urlaub in Frankreich braucht. Der Pool läd bei jedem Wetter zum verweilen ein und wurde täglich genutzt. Der Blick vom Esstisch auf die Pferdekoppeln und die Weinberge war ein Traum.

Super Gite

Great property in a rural location. Couldn't ask for more. The pool was a real bonus in the hot weather. The ensuites were very modern and all the rooms well appointed. The sunsets were spectacular. We had lovely fresh eggs from the next door neighbour. Would highly recommend this property.

Great quality gite in an excellent setting

Gite is a traditional outbuilding which has an excellent quality renovation with a pool in what was a barn. It's set amongst vineyards on gently rolling hills which make it such a peaceful, idyllic place. The owner (Laurence) was there to welcome us and explain the detail. Very well equipped with more than enough of everything even if you were up to capacity. You are free to wander around the large estate that surrounds her imposing Manoir. There are a variety of horses/ponies who are fenced off and adorable. There are also about 8 free range hens and a pot bellied pig. All quiet, paeceful and don't bother you at all - although some of the chickens may appear frrom nowhere if you rattle packaging whilst on one of the patios, but this only adds to the simple pleasure of the experience here. Never been to a gite with an indoor pool before but it provides an excellent way to cool down whilst not risking sunburn! We may well be back.

Peaceful perfection

What a fantastic holiday we've just had. The booking process and subsequent communication with Laurence, the owner, was spot on. We were warmly greeted on our arrival. The gite itself is incredible. The facilities are above and beyond the description. The indoor pool was soo inviting. We ate well, slept well and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The sunsets were to die for. We would certainly like to return one day, hopefully next year.

third stay - that says it all

This was the 3rd time we stayed in this very nice house. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The children especially loved the pool and the horses. For children, it is perhaps a bit of a downer that there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity. That is, you always have to drive a few kilometres to keep the children entertained. The Natural'Parc in Nantes and Le Jardin Des Kangourous near Angers come highly recommended. We will certainly be back :-)

Hervorragend ausgestattetes Haus umgeben von Weinbergen

Das Ferienhaus sieht exakt so aus wie auf den Fotos. Es ist rundherum perfekt ausgestattet, sehr wohnlich und liegt sehr ruhig umgeben von Weinbergen. Wunderbar zum Ausspannen! Tipp: jeder Sonnenuntergang ein Traum! Es bietet für zwei Paare toll Platz, da jedes Doppelzimmer über ein eigenes Bad verfügt. Der Pool ist wunderbar und lädt bei seiner Größe zum Schwimmen ein. Laurence ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und überraschte uns sogar mit Eiern ihrer Hühner. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

prachtige gite

Deze gerestaureerde woning is omgebouwd tot een topgite. Vanaf de grote terrassen heeft men een prachtig uitzicht over de groene omgeving. Naast de gite ligt een paardenwei met 4 paarden. Op 5km in Ancenis liggen 3 supermarkten (super U, Leclerc en Lidl). Het ingebouwd zwembad is ruim en goed onderhouden. Wij willen Laurence en Marie-Odile bedanken voor hun vriendelijke ontvangst, beiden zijn bijzonder 'aimable'
