We provide you with locally roasted coffee and a fresh, homemade baked good at check-in. The recently renovated kitchen is outfitted with pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils. A deep, antique farmhouse sink adds to this quaint country kitchen. Refrigerator, countertop oven & toaster, induction cooktop, coffee maker and microwave round out the appliances.

The ground floor bedroom has a queen-sized fourposter bed and large closet.

The bathroom is on the first floor and has a walk-in shower stall. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided.

Upstairs are two additional bedrooms. The first is a loft like room with two twin beds. Walking through this bedroom brings you to the third bedroom with an additional queen farmhouse style bed.

Outdoors is a private patio, large backyard and lawn with sandbox and swing set. There is a fire pit for summer campfires and roasting marshmallows. Firewood is provided. A shared propane grill and cooking utensils are available.

You have the whole cottage as well as the adjacent farm to explore. Enjoy the gardens and swing set or explore our nature trail located at the end of the farm’s lower driveway which leads to our pigs and maple tree grove.

Should you need additional supplies, our farm store is located on property and is fully stocked with our farm's meats and other great local products.

Great property!

The property is cute and well kept. The owners were very nice and welcomed us with delicious home made blueberry muffins that my sons and I very much appreciated. Great directions and communication and very nice place to spend a weekend!

Fabulous house for our family that ranged in ages from 18-80! Perfect spot for the 6 of us!

From the booking to the check out everything was amazing! The house is clean, stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and everything in between. Very calm and peaceful, easy to find and property managers were great to work with. We had no issues at all. The smart tv huge bonus to pull up the Celtics game! We will definitely be staying in this home again in the future! Thanks so much Tessa!

A delightful place to stay to enjoy New Hampshire idyll

Throughout the whole process, i.e. finding out some particulars, confirming our stay, and our check-out, Tessa was most helpful and quick to reply. My expectations were, I must admit, surpassed when we did arrive, much to my delight. The converted barn cottage is quiet, and yet easily accessible from the road. Tessa had even set the thermostat higher for us before our arrival and left a basked of lovely donuts (baked, not fried, which I really approve of!) baked that day. The kitchen was very useful for us, as we came with some food precooked and needed to minorly augment that for our dinners. I envied the kitchen sink for its size and the excellent water pressure compared to what I live with on a daily basis The bathroom, though smaller, as some of the review note, was absolutely perfectly usable and has good ventilation to keep it humidity free. Having this lovely place to sleep and eat served as a delightful base for our winter hikes and a friendly warm shelter to return to for the evenings. I would and indeed plan to stay again in the future!

About the host

Hosted by Caitlin & Chris

Host profile image
We are both locals to the area. Chris actually grew up just across the road and came here to the farm as a child to get milk and eggs. In 1998 his parents purchased the 100+ acre farm and renovated the buildings turning it into the B&B and cottages which they opened in 1999. We started the pasture-based farm part of the operation in 2006 and opened our farm to table restaurant five miles from the property in 2017. We love to travel and we love hosting families from all over the world and sharing this special place.
