Honestly the main complaint was the cleanliness ofThe cabin, I found rat feces in one of the cooking pans provided, the cabin was sooo dusty and I turned on my LED light in the bathrooms and found a bunch of unknown human liquids alllll around. The cabin is cute but needs to be throughly cleaned, they charge you a cleaning fee to give you a dirty cabin.
We did a couples weekend and this cabin was perfect. The hot tub was amazing, the cabin was quaint and perfect size for 4 adults (and our dog!). Easy drive to into town as well. Can’t beat the price for this.
Beautiful location. Secluded and definitely a mountain feel. We came up for the UT/Alabama game so we didn’t spend too much time in the cabin but the time we were there was very comfortable with more then enough space for 2 adults and 1 teenager. I would recommend adding a large frying pan and replacing some of the older pots and pans. The cabin appeared clean, however, there was some garbage and dirt under the beds.
We rented the cabin for 11 days & for us it was the perfect spot. Secluded, at the end of a road but close to town, pet friendly, cozy with a wood burning fireplace which we didn't get to use because of warmer temps. Have been coming to Tennessee for years and looking for the cabin we wanted to come back to, we finally found it. Highly recommend.
Thank you allowing us to stay here. Booked on short notice and loved the location of this cabin. 15-20 mins to Island at Pigeon Forge. Cabin was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Just needs a good dusting. Would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at 116 Walden Ridge cabin, accommodations we exactly as described! This rustic cabin was the perfect get away, it’s nice and secluded which made it perfect for my pets, they enjoyed running around the huge lot and lounging on the nice deck. The hot tub was nice, and the beds were comfortable. This was my firsts time using Fireside Chalets, however, will not be my last, check-in was very easy, with great communications. I have no complaints, everything was excellent, this cabin is secluded yet still close enough to all the major attractions and restaurants in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Thank you all for the great experience, will be back!
Wee had A great time. I love the cabin being away from everything. But close enough that you canywhere in town. We saw two blackbears that was a fun experience. The cabin is decorated beautifully but I needed some cleaning. And a few touches. Other than that the staff was wonderful.
Check in process was fairly easy to get in the cabin. We liked how well the communication was between fireside Chalet and the information they sent ahead of time. We liked that it had a security system and the hot tub was very nice. We wished there were some lights or better signs going around the sharp turns to get up to the cabin. We arrived at night and it was very difficult to see where to go, plus our GPS was not working once we started driving up the mountain. Over all, we would definitely stay again and we had the best time.
The cabin is nice but not very clean. Lots of dust in baseboards and behind doors. The lights had dust and there were cobwebs in the shower. The one bedroom the tv was removed and the cabinet was full of dust. This aggravated my husband’s allergies. The location was great easy in and out.
This is a nice cabin in the woods, as long as you can get to it. You'll need a higher profile vehicle to get up the mountain road to this cabin. Cars lower to the ground and vehicles without good tires will be challenged to access this cabin. Otherwise the cabin is nicely furnished, the pictures online are accurate. Your neighbors are a bit closer than you may expect, but you still have that feeling of being in a remote location.

Ok Cabin
The cabin was OK. It was a lot smaller than what I thought it would be from the pictures. It was not very clean. Dust covered everything (knick knacks, curtains, blinds, things like that) and under the beds were filthy. The queen bed was very uncomfortable. The wall in the bathroom behind the sink was covered in toothpaste spray. I called the Fireside Office to let them know that it smelled of cigarette smoke and it had a marijuana smell. They didn't seem to concerned, I just got an ok, I will make a note of that. The first time up to the cabin was a little nerve racking but we eventually got used to it. Probably will not stay at that cabin again.
We really liked this cabin. The only real issues we had were all the dishes were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them And the water smelled awful. Because we were concerned I looked it up and figured it was because the water softener needed service. This should be done immediately. Otherwise we loved the cabin!
This was my mom's first time in TN and in a cabin at 70 years old. She enjoyed. GPS took us to Heaven's Drive, but we eventually found the cabin. I'd suggest dusting. Spider webs on kitchen's drapes and the walls are dusty. Overall nice stay and I was very pleased. The alarm was a plus! Optional curtains or drapes would be nice in the living room. Didn't want to wake up as early as the sun came up but due to the sun beaming in, I had no choice.
We had an amazing time. Was everything that was expected!

Nice but Dusty
This was a great place, we had a fun stay. The bathrooms were clean, but the place was very dusty. We wondered if it had been empty since Christmas since the small tree was still out on display (one month later). That would explain the dust. Everything else was very nice from check in to check out.
