It was nice and quiet which I liked the pool and fishing pond is a 25 minute drive the pool table doesn't have enough room to even play if your just looking for a nice quiet place to stay its a good choice
We started taking trips a few years ago for Christmas instead of gifts (they still get a few small things). This was a great cabin and we loved the scenery. Will make a trip to Pigeon Forge a yearly trip (maybe summer time).

Great experience
The location of the cabin was great. It was in your all of the activities that we needed to do with the kiddos. I was a little disappointed with how clean the cabin was but it made our experience one of a kind. Overall I would stay again and recommend it 100%
Plenty of room for family. Love the setting close to town and a private setting. There were neighbors but only could see them thru the woods. Since it was raining when we arrived it was nice we could pull up and unload close to door. And the rocking chair made a great place for morning coffee with family.
Liked the wooded surroundings. Fireside Chalet Leasing were accommodating and cordial. Cabin was comfortable but lacked adequate towels and needed some cleaning and repairs (refrigerator leaked, carpets dirty). Kitchen was well equipped for cooking.
Not a good stay, it was dusty, dirty in the rooms, roaches in the kitchen after we left and came back, sofa set furniture smell like dog smell- bad odor, top room had dust on top of cover.

Cleanliness issues
Overall the cabin was decent and has great potential. Location was great. It would be nice to mention the pool is a 20 minute drive away from the cabin. The main disappointment was the cleanliness. Specifically the bedding, a lot of hair and crumbs visible dirt. We had to wash all of the bedding on arrival as it seems to have just been remade from previous guests (if not multiple previous guests). There were no sheets provided for the pull out couches either. Overall we had a decent stay but could really step up the cleaning.

Not clean and grill was Rusty and no gas
The cabin had a dirty cup and cookie papers down stairs a roach up stairs on the floor trash under the couch. The TV did not work down stairs. there was a blanket in the dryer and the lint was full The grill and griddle was so Rusty and had not been cleaned in a long time and there was no gas to use if you was able to use them. I was not happy with this cabin it was close to pigeon that is all
The location was great and very private. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. But when you first walk in the place stinks! Smells like stinky dog, yes I know it's pet friendly so wasn't totally surprised by this but not what I wanted to smell all week. Kids enjoyed the pool table and movie area. The sheets on the upstairs bed were disgusting! They obviously had not been washed, not visible dirt but the SMELL! So had to wash the sheets then it was much better. The hot tub would be nice but needs some attention. The water was cloudy and had a horrible fish smell. I was scared to get in it. Place would be great with some deep cleaning. Also nice that my handicap mom didn't have to do stairs, the front door is a straight walk from driveway.
8 of us stayed here, and with the capacity of 12, we had plenty of room with some sleeping on pull outs. Wooded views (no mountain views), and VERY close to the main strip of downtown Pigeon Forge, so very convenient, but still tucked away from the sounds of the city. Cabin was nice and clean, exactly what I was expecting from the pictures. Only complaints were some of the lack of accuracies in the description, as well as the contract. Just little things like "fully equipped kitchen" but no measuring cups, hot pads, few plates. Also description said charcoal grill, so we brought some, but it already had a propane tank (which was great), no grill brush, and outdated directions on how to arm the alarm system. So clearly just very small things here and there. Also the contract needs to be updated, I read through the whole thing and many things are outdated/old or not required anymore, which I just had to call the office to clarify. But overall we had a very nice stay and would recommend!
The family had never been to Pigeon Forge. All 10 of us loved it. The cabin fit all of our needs and was a handy jump off to local sites and scenes. Would recom.end.
The cabin was very cute and private. The staff was always very helpful and nice.
The cabin was cute and was more than we expected. The beds we very comfortable. The washer and dryer worked great. It was in a private area. My only complaint is the living room furniture was very uncomfortable, one of the kitchen chairs was broken, and the bathroom rug on the main floor smelled like urine. I roll it up and laid a towel out for the main bath. I also had to wash the sheet on the downstairs couch bed to use it and the extra pillows and blankets seemed dirty with hairs on them and no pillow cases for them. I didn’t complain though. The rest of the cabin was beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us. I would rent from them again. I’m sure if I had brought these things to their attention they would have taken care of them. Like I said they were very nice and helpful when I had to call them.
The location is perfect to the main strip in PF. Soon as we got to the cabin, the front porch was covered in leaves, porch furniture covered in dirt and pollen (we couldn’t sit there), and very dirty greasy grill. There was an old smell when we opened the front door and spider webs in every room as well as dust. Carpets were dirty, very old outdated and had pet hairs all over. Upstairs carpets had stains all over in bedroom and near pool table and a bad smell near pool table. The pull out couches were filthy when we pulled them out they had chips and crumbs all over them as well as stains. Comforter on main floor bedroom had blood stain and extra blankets very dirty and stained. No pillow cases for the pillows on pullout couches. Upstairs trundle had pet hairs all over it we could not use. Dining chairs on both ends very wobbly. My husband and son in law are under 200 lbs. Ice maker didn’t work. Dishwasher was not stable door would not close. Microwave door also very loose. Upstairs shower leaked in floor and very small walk in. The very bottom level was updated and nicest of the entire cabin. There was food on those pull out couches as well and stains on cushions. Hot tub didn’t have powerful jets and stairs into it were wobbly. Once again we are all under 200 lbs. The Wii was nice but kids couldn’t play due to all the games being scratched. Trying to play pool was very hard too because the room is too small and pool sticks barely fit without being up against the wall. Overall very disappointed and won’t stay here again!! We feel like it was very over priced for the condition it is in.
Not good! The towels smelled sour! The living room chairs was so hard to set in! Our backs are hurting from them! Light bulbs was out in bathroom! The toilets was broken! No tv upstairs bedroom! Shower upstairs door was stuck! Toaster not working! Outlet down stairs not working! Kitchen table and chairs needed maintenance!
We decide to take a small trip to take a break from all the chaos of life around 3 weeks ago. We found whispering winds cabin and were instantly in love with it. The cabin didn’t disappoint we absolutely loved it! Three king bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was so convenient for our 6 guests. We loved it and we will b back!
4 adults, 4 teens, and 1 child. Plenty of room to put all the kids downstairs and the adults all got bedrooms upstairs. Kitchen stocked with adequate utensils. Bathrooms good size. AC works well...very well. Had a bear visitor while grilling on the porch. Hot tub is shaped weird, odd seating and doesnt bubble up. Jets arent strong. Hot tub is also on the front porch, not back. Beds and cloches were comfortable. Easy to find, close to the strip, but far enough away to block noise. Would stay here again.
Excellent location.. cabin needs lots TLC refrigerator leaked, ice maker broke, all carpet needs to ripped out, needs place to hang clothes in basement.. a light outside basement door..needs vinyl or leather furniture with pets.... smelled very moldy...very heavy cleaning needed
But nice cabin but for the price we paid....could have been cleaner and nicer....
I would return with some updates!
We really liked the location of the property and with a little TLC I believe this property would be a great place to stay. I will start with the good things, location is great very close to everything! Great stocked kitchen and PLENTY of towels! Lots of extras like fans and dog gates. TV's were all super easy to use. Now for the negative. The down stairs has carpet and the smell of dog urine is so strong it burns your eyes. I know this is dog friendly but the best thing to do would be to take up that carpet! My daughter had to sleep upstairs on an air mattress because the smell was so bad. We did not allow our little dogs down there. If this was fixed and the house was given a thorough cleaning it would be a great house. I didn't mention it to the rental company because there was nothing they could have done to remedy the situation other than replace the flooring. The upstairs wasn't as bad but probably would smell fresher if the two rugs were removed there as well. We stay in pet friendly homes a lot and have never encountered this before. Thank you for letting us stay in your home and enjoy some much needed rest.
This cabin was in a good location, but that was all it had going for it. There was mold on the shower curtains, not just a little spot here and there. There was spider webs and dust in every corner. My son put on a white shirt and after five minutes changed it because it was brown. If someone got up in the middle of the night the whole house was awake, because you could hear everything. A lot of the outlets couldn't even be used because the plug would fall back out. With a little work this could be a nice place to stay.

Cabin was not what we expected at all.
Soon as we arrived we walk towards front steps and ciggarett butts everywhere. We go inside to find cabinets in kitchen dirty, refrigerator front with something spilled on it. Bathroom shower had black mold around tub luckily we shared the other bathrooms. Floors were dirty. Dirty washcloth hanging on shower curtain downstairs. We rented as pet friendly cabin and laying in downstairs bedroom floor was a pill. Glad my dog didn't get it. We kept her in kennel the whole trip because we weren't sure what else she might get a hold of. Hot tub nasty couldn't use it!!! Love the ladies in the office they were friendly and helpful.
