The property was clean but a bit tired with water stains and chipped paint in the bathroom amongst some other minor things. It has beautiful views of the river and it served as a good stopping ground for 2 nights. The host was easy to communicate with.
overall good. Was surprised to have to pay for electric

Accommodation was great. The constant noise from the electricity box was distracting though. Parking spaces a little tight.

Beautiful setting
The accommodation is in a very quiet and peaceful spot that is perfectly situated for the Ring of Kerry, Killorglin, and Killarney.
There are some minor issues with the property that a good refresh would fix. Unfortunately privacy isn’t great as none of the curtains actually fit the windows and one of the windows had no blind or curtains at all.
Aside from this and the other minor details, we had a brilliant stay.
Modern, comfortable, well maintained and close to scenic areas. One thing to note, the apartments are in duplex style, so for those staying on lower level, parking is not adjacent.

The house is lovely, clean, modern, comfortable. The location is lovely, the river flowing in front of the house is beautiful and mesmerising.
Nice quiet place. Parking is tight. But easy to turn around if you’re not used to parallel parking .

Great apartment in Killorglin
Fab location beside the river in Killorglin. The walk into town was about 15 mins and that was with small kids. Very tranquil and relaxing. Great nights sleep. Very comfortable apartment.
The bathrooms were great and spacious but could do with updating in an ideal world.
The area was lovely and very quiet.
Would have liked a little bit more communication upon arrival. The idea of paying for electricity and turning on hot water heaters was new for me.
Situate yourself in the middle of it all. Whether it’s a trip to Killarney national park, driving the ring of Kerry or hiking Carrauntoohil…, nice little place on the river.
Walking distance to pubs and super markets in Killorglin and right off the highway but a quiet paradise tucked away on the river. Appliances are dated and a little scratch and dent going on but that gets you a great value. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Clean comfortable and quiet. No office on site. Very little washing up liquid or tablets. Few mugs or teaspoons but large saucepans!! One hairdryer not available and kitchen sink tap very loose. Car parking space occupied one evening. Old ice cream left in freezer. Tv tuning good. Enjoyable but needs TLC.
We were more than satisfied with our stay in Grove Lodge. The setting is beautiful and the furnishings attractive. The only reason for a few less than 5 stars was that we received NO check in information prior to our stay. We didn't know which unit was ours. It was not easy to determine who the property manager was. Having to go through Trident wasn't straightforward. We eventually reached the property manager (a different person than we'd received earlier communications from)
Overall, we'd recommend the unit but suggest better communication.
The unit was as described BUT there were not adequate instructions or amenities. Locks did not work, electrical charges were unclear and there were issues with heating (left on before our arrival with no instructions), washer/dryer manual not available and hot water heater instructions not available. The trash and recycling area was horrible. Plumbing in both bathrooms was questionable.
There was ample space, good parking and nice view of river with outdoor seating.
Challenges detracted from overall stay.

Disappointing
We recently stayed at this holiday cottage, and while the location was absolutely nice, the cottage itself fell short in several areas. Upon arrival, we found that the cleanliness was not up to standard, with noticeable dirt in various places. The bathrooms were moldy, moist, uncomfortable and outdated. Additionally, some of the lamps did not work, because bulbs were missing. Another concern was the presence of ants in the kitchen, which made meal preparation quite unpleasant. The pictures in the advertisements did n’t reflect the reality. With attention to these issues, this cottage could be a nice place, but as it stands, it was a disappointment.

Nice locations with some issues
It is a lovely place directly at a river with a beautiful view right at the ring of Kerry. Check-in worked well. All together it is a Appartment of a company, which wants to earn money without to much work. It's ok but not much more. Heating didn't work very well. The whole Appartment feels clammy. We also got an water-damage with a moldy ceiling in the kitchen. The site manager wanted to react asap after sending the photos and then we never heard from her again. Beds and couch were overworked. Price-performance ratio wasn't ok.

The location is great. Very central and easy to get to the town. Yes the path is unpaved for a few minutes but it was fine. The upkeep of the outside of the holiday homes was great, its very tidy and welcoming. It was also so quiet! The view to the river was lovely and we got the sun all day long. The house was fine, lots of windows and lots of facilities. The onsite manager was very helpful and easy to get in contact with if we needed her.
It wasn't amazingly clean (dusty mainly) and could do with freshening up the interior paint. The beds were awful! Rock hard so that was a big downer. The advertisement was "jacuzzi bath and coffee machine" but the jacuzzi didn't work and no coffee capsules were provided. We had to buy a few bits to keep us going (hand wash, loo roll etc) which was OK, but easy to provide stock in each house if needed.
D agréables vacances. Killorglin est idéalement placé pour visiter Killarney, la presque île de dingle et celle d Iveragh. Je conseille cet appartement.
