About this property

Modern Cottage in La Casa Resort. Beautifully furnished, functional and well stocked cottage sleeps 8.

La Casa is a great vacation location for families, with swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis/pickle ball courts, beach volleyball, aqua park and mini golf, restaurant and convenience store.

There is a private lakefront area and boat launch within 5 minutes walk from the Cottage. Same distance uphill are the main amenities of the resort.

A short drive south takes you to the famous Vineyards of the region. For winter, the ski resorts of Silverstar and Big White are each an hour away.

The large deck has a fire pit and BBQ with lounging and dining areas, covered partially it offers a great space to eat outside in the evening or enjoy some shade during the day. The upstairs deck off the loft room has lovely views and is a great spot to soak up the sun. Landscaped garden with 2 seater French bistro table to get the evening sun.

Very large attached garage with washer / dryer, iron and ironing board.

Living room is super comfortable with Smart/Cable TV. Telus Hi speed wi-fi (250MBS) , and gas fireplace. Games and books are here also. Sign the guest book with stories, recipes and adventures.

There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, one queen and the other with 2 twin beds - there is also a foldaway cot available. Upstairs you will find a 3rd bedroom and a loft bedroom. Both have queen beds.

Kitchen is really well stocked. Importantly - coffee has 3 options of French press, espresso machine or Keurig machine.

Great week away

The house was very clean and well equipped even for two families of 4. Has one of the nicest patios in the community and is an easy walk to the beach, marina and lower pool area.

Great Place to stay!!

We had a fabulous time at La Casa. The house was in a great location and Matt was great in dealing with the a/c issue which was quickly resolved. The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen has all appliances and utensils used for cooking. The deck was so nice to sit and watch the sunset. The resortoffers so much and a great place for families. Will definitely be back! Thanks Matt!

Christmas in July

We've been coming to LaCasa for quite a few years now as have family there. Now with everybody growing up and moving on, Christmas is hard to do together so we been celebrating it in July. Beautiful mountain side cottage

Beautiful mountain-side cottage! The place had everything we could possibly need and more besides, it was furnished with new and modern decor, and the huge bbq and propane fire pit on the covered balcony was perfect for kicking back and relaxing with a glass of wine in the evenings, no matter what the weather. This was one fantastic feature that set this cottage apart from all the others, in our opinion. We would love to go back someday! The community within which the cottage is situated is gated, very safe, and peacefully quiet. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us and provided excellent information about the property for our smooth and seem less arrival. Staying here was a wonderful experience!

Great spot

This is a great family vacation spot. The cottage is modern and clean and the kitchen has all the cutlery, utensils and pots and pans our family of seven needed. TV and internet worked well. The resort is quiet. The owner is excellent to deal with and replied promptly to questions. The pool and pickle ball courts were a plus. Downside to the location is the long drive from Fintry to amenities like golf courses and wineries. If you plan on staying put for your stay you’ll love it.

Great Family Vacation

My husband and our two young children stayed in Matt’s beautiful beach cottage for a week. The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. Lots of space, has a great covered deck as well as a top uncovered deck. Our children loved having the bikes provided in the garage and rode up and down the street every day. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies we needed. The la Casa property is great for families with two pools and hot tubs. The private beach is amazing and the three water trampolines were tons of fun for the whole family. We had a great week and can’t wait to return next year! I would highly recommend this property. Matt is a great host and a pleasure to work with.

Overall a relaxing and enjoyable stay

Very responsive and accommodating host, resolving any concerns with quick action. Very nice host, thanks Matt! Kayaks for us to use were a good touch and so was the deck. While the view is partial lake front, the deck had a fire pit and it made a big difference. Property is modern and 1 think that i think would make it even better. A screen for bugs. Would recommend!

Wonderful stay at la casa

Great stay at Matthews cottage. He was super helpful and accommodating. The cottage was well equipped with the kitchen. It could use more towels and beach towels. Enjoyed both decks and the firepitt. Large BBQ was awesome and the use of the kayaks was a big bonus! Would definitely rent here next year!

Amazing outdoor space and very spacious property

Property exactly as advertised, roomy beautiful decor and comfortable beds. Lots of space to enjoy in and out. Fire table and patio with partial cover allowed us to spend all of our time outdoors- never tried the TV or the couches:). We were here for the outdoor space which was exactly perfect. Played some pickleball everyday but didn’t sample other amenities of resort. A couple recommendations include screens for patio sliding doors as we loved to keep them open when others were food prepping etc. Also some IKEA clothing racks upstairs to hang clothes would be great. Thanks so much.

Beautiful cottage with a cozy summer vibe

Me and my friends loved our stay at Matt's cottage. It was modern yet cozy. Nothing beats sitting outside on the patio around the fire table while chatting over drinks as the sun sets! Matt was very responsive to any questions I had throughout my stay and also addressed/ accomodated for any issues that came up in a very professional manner. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway.
