A estadia foi muito agradável, pois se tratava dum encontro familiar para um casamento ali perto. Dormiram lá 8 pessoas. Indicamos à administração a infiltração de água num quarto do rés do chão, tivemos que trocar a pilha do .comando do portão e tivemos problemas com o quadro elétrico, que saltava frequentemente

Find another house, as we had to.

I'm a Portuguese resident and American citizen. I'm familiar with how homes are presented/maintained in each country. This house fell far short of any reasonable standard. We had to move out early. Space will not permit complete listing of the problems. Here is just a sample: The washing machine began to leek. We were told that it was normal, that the machine only works on a 45 minute cycle. House smelled of mildew throughout. Black mold in shower stalls. Toilet in one bathrooms slowly overflow when we showered. Kitchen had only peeling non-stick pans. Refrigerator went out for 14 hours, spoiling our food. Power to ENTIRE HOUSE went out mutiple times. Had to reset breaker 10+ times just to make dinner. Could not cook in kitchen, had to eat out. House power failed again while we slept. Internet failed day 2. We were only given a 2nd (working) password the next day. Weak wifi signal did not work in all parts of the house. Ping pong table collapsed while we were playing on it, almost hitting my 5 year old daughter. Table had been previously repaired with a metal bracket that failed. Etc., etc., etc. Owner was made aware of all of these issues, and offered to let us leave on the 3rd day, and we did (on the 5th day as we could not find suitable accommodations any faster). Requests for refund ignored. Owner demanded reimburse for the ping pong table which almost crushed my daughter. In short, a horrible experience that almost ruined our vacation. Cannot recommend.

Villa très confortable pour 2 familles !

Jolie Quinta portugaise très confortable avec ses 5 chambres et ses 5 salles de bain. Ce qui est assez rare en général. Grande piscine et table de ping-pong qui ont ravi les enfants. Commerces et plage à 5 mn en voiture. Accueil très sympathique par Elisabeth et petites attentions de la part des propriétaires pour nous souhaiter la bienvenue (petits gâteaux, pain, jus de fruits, beurre, vin local, fromage ...). Beaucoup d'espace intérieur et extérieur, parfait pour 10 personnes.

Away with the family

It is difficult to criticise the property and grounds. All very good. It is a little remote, but access to eg supermarkets and beach is very quite close to hand. The pool and BBQ area are excellent. Ages ranged from 13 to 80, and we had a great holiday. Thanks

A casa é fantástica !!

Uma casa fantástica para descansar e estar em contacto com natureza , a casa oferece todo o conforte , no nosso caso fomos no inverno , tem lareira que aquece a casa toda , as áreas são ótimas , uma sala grande , quartos confortaveis todos com casa de banho , a cozinha é espetacular para estar em convivo enquanto se cozinha e também tem uma salamandra. Não falta nada na casa …. Pena que o tempo não estava bom e não deu pra desfrutar à piscina, e o jardim a volta … quero voltar e desfrutar com sol e calor .. A Rita é muito simpática e Atenciosa, só tenho agradecer a forma simpática como nós recebeu e presenteou com um mimo dos deliciosos doces regionais . A casa é prefeita para uma família ou Amigos passarem uma boas férias ou um fim de semana tranquilo . A voltar muito em Breve . Obrigado por tudo .

Great stay in a beautiful house

It was exactly what we were looking for; A beautiful house in a tranquil part of Sintra. Short/medium distance to many great sites, but private and with the feel of being in a forest. Among our favorites: Great size pool and beautifully decorated bedrooms with matching bathrooms in their own distinctive style.

Nice property in Sintra

The rooms and bathroom a bit small but every room as a bathroom. House is very well equipped with a perfect BBQ next to a pool house.

Lovely house outside Sintra

This is a truly lovely house just a few minutes outside Sintra. It is a large quinta with plenty of rooms, bathrooms, a pool, and beautiful grounds. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to Sintra, a couple of small towns, and several beaches. It is a special place. The owners, Rita and Joao, are warm, welcoming, and helpful. The caretaker, Elisabeth, was there to greet us and to answer any question we could have. The first day we had an issue with one of the showers and within a few minutes, Elisabeth came to take care of the problem. My family adn I enjoyed there and it felt like being guests at some friends' house. We're hoping to go back.
