Sunset Lakes is an upscale-gated community just a short distance from Walt Disney World. The community comprises 161 pool homes surrounding two lakes with a conservation area to the rear of the property.

The community also offers a communal pool with changing area. Next to the pool is a small tot-lot that has been recently renovated and is the perfect place for younger guest to enjoy the swings, slides and climbing frames. Sunset Lakes has also become a haven for wildlife; it is not uncommon to see raccoons, armadillos, possums and a plethora of bird life including American Bald Eagles that have been seen perching on trees in the conservation area

Very Dirty Property

The communication was great. However, upon our arrival the entire house was unlocked and dirty. The carpet is very stained, cobwebs in the corners of the rooms and bugs everywhere. There were dead bugs everywhere in the bathroom. Another problem was at night bugs would come inside and we didn't even have the door open. That's when we realized that the back sliding door glass wasn't even sealed. 2 of the 3 glass doors had roughly a 1/2 inch opening near the bottom. The owners should definitely have a visit to this property and see that's it is in need of some maintenence and a very thorough cleaning.

Nice place for families

We did a weekend stay to visit Seaworld. This place was perfect! It was near all the popular local restaurants and theme parks! A must stay!

Disappointing

Thankful for the washer and dryer. Gift basket was also a nice touch. I can deal with things needing upgrades but needing upgrades and dirty is where I draw the line. The unit definitely needs some upgrades and replacements. I would not recommend this property. It was not very clean. The refrigerator, bathrooms and dining room table was not cleaned good at all. The ceiling fans were disgusting. Carpet should be replaced. We requested the pool to be heated and when we arrived we were informed they were waiting on a part. We couldn’t really enjoy the pool because it was too chilly. The internet was also spotty. The mattresses need to be replaced with better quality.

Nice house

The place overall was good. Everything was nice and clean with extra towels. Just wish the pool and hot tub heater was on to accommodate our stay. The master bathroom toilet was stopped up when we got there so I had to walk to the other bathroom to use the restroom but other than that it was good.

Worst stay I have ever had! :(

I don't like to put bad reviews out there. But I want you to be warned. The place was sooo filthy! The walls the carpets were soo dirty and ripped up. I felt like they went and picked up the furniture on the side of the road. The door handles were broken, the toaster, the ice maker.. The worst part for us was the broken pool. They knew before we showed up that it was broken and refused to fix it. They just dont care at all! The neighbors were having issues
