Well equipped and laid out but let down by the non fuctioning bathroom light and outdoor light not working. Bathroom light was mended by Cornish Horizons for our last night but I think that's something that should hgave been spotted, especially as the b athroom had no exterior windows, no other source of illumination

Family Stay
Myself, my husband and 3 adult children stayed here over the period of a week in June 2023. The house is lovely and bright and was ample size for 5 adults. As we arrived on a Sunday evening the key was left in a drop box, the position of the box was at the rear of the property inside a gate entrance. This was not mentioned in the communication at time of letting. We spent alot of time trying to locate and access the key as another drop box is available beside the front door of the property with a different code, for accomodation upstairs. People staying at 2a should be advised of the correct location for access key. To compound the difficulty the office we needed to contact for information, closed early on a Sunday. Clear instructions are vital for those in a situation similar to ours to avoid the stress of this situation. We loved the house and hired it as it is advertised as suitable for up to 5 people. My 2 son, myself and my husband were staying for the full week but my daughter was staying for 2 nights only at the end of our holiday and we felt the sofa chair would be sufficient to sleep us all comfortably for that time. The chair bed was very comfortable, however although a quilt and mattress protector were left for use, no sheet, quilt cover or clean pillows were left aside. Also no towels were left for her use, which meant we needed to double up on one. Not ideal! Landlord/letting office had no communication with us during our stay to discuss the issues here.
