Beautiful Getaway
I am so glad I found this property to rent out for my week stay in the UK. I was there visiting my bf and his family. The place for one is just picture perfect. Beautiful exterior and interior. I felt instantly that this was a home that I would be happy in. What made it even better is that Liz and their partner were so nice! I have never had such nice hosts. I sure do hope to be back one day. I think my favorite things would be the main bedroom bed. So comfortable. To the point I'm getting my bf to look into how to buy the duvet at the store and ship it to me! HA! The fireplace was a nice touch when late night sitting around the TV. And the garden! You may hear the cars driving by, but you forget about them quick just by sitting there and reading a book and enjoying the trees and flowers. 20 out of 10! Would be back in a heartbeat!

Cosy and comfortable
My family and I (myself, husband and kids (aged 18, 15 and 8) booked Jasmine Cottage at last minute due to a change of plans for 5 nights at the end of a 5 week trip visiting different areas of England. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. We were absolutely blown away by how superbly the cottage had been restored and renovated. And I would go as far to say it's the most beautifully appointed accommodation we've ever booked! The beds were extremely comfortable. Shower had great pressure. The appliances were easy to use. We loved and appreciated the welcome basket of goodies. The location is great to explore Derbyshire and the Peak district and was close to all amenities. The local chippy and Chinese takeaway were yum. The only let down for us was that unfortunately the cottage doesn't have a washing machine. It's the one thing I've always assumed would be a given in all properties and wouldn't have to actually apply as a filter to check when searching for accommodation. However the owners did offer to help us out but we managed without on this occasion. Another feature which would have been handy is a downstairs toilet but again we managed without and really isn't a big deal. Parking is a short walk away if you're unable to grab the small bays across the road and the cottage is situated on a main through road which could be a bit noisy during peak periods. Despite the small inconveniences, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Jasmine Cottage as its location is perfect to explore the area and very comfortable. Thank you.
