About this property

Spacious 3 bedroom home just steps from the bay beach and best sunsets!

You’ll be just steps away from the Delaware bay beach when you stay at our family owned cottage located on a quiet street in Villas, New Jersey. Villas is minutes from the Cape May, Stone Harbor, and Wildwood Beaches. With a private access across the street, the beach is literally just steps away. The bayside beach offers the best sunsets in New Jersey!

From the moment you arrive you will feel right at home in this three bedroom, two bathroom cottage. The master bedroom has plenty of space with a king size bed; the second bedroom has a queen size bed and a wall mounted tv; the third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed. The first bathroom features a tub/shower combo while the second has a walk-in shower.

**Linens are not provided.**

The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of counter space, and has table seating for 6. The great room has a comfortable couch, loveseat, pub table with seating for four and a large wall mounted flat screen TV. The great room is an excellent place to get lost in entertainment while the front living room presents a beautiful view of the bay and a picture perfect sunset. The front living room is a fine place to enjoy the sound of the waves through the many windows while settling back on the futon, wicker sofa, or two wicker chairs. Enjoy our assortment of DVD’s, books, and games with the family or just relax and take advantage of the cable TV and wireless internet. No matter what, you’re sure to be comfortable with central AC.

There’s a washer & dryer for your convenience and just off the deck is a private enclosed shower with hooks for clothing and towels. Hang out on the deck which has a gas grill, picnic table with seating for eight, and extra chairs to relax and listen to the bay.

There is always something to do making the Delaware Bay/Cape May area a great place to visit year round. Come enjoy all that the Cape May area has to offer!

• Our home is a non-smoking environment, we appreciate your cooperation.

• Additional nights may be available at a multi night rate. Also may able to do partial weeks in the summer. Please contact us for more information.

• Weekly rentals are 3 pm Saturday until 11 am the following Saturday

Convenient and relaxing stay!

The house was as mentioned in the listing. The owner was very responsive and information provided was helpful. The street was quiet and peaceful. My family and dog loved being steps away from the Bay beach. Everything you need was within a few minutes drive and there was so much to do. This property was great for our stay and we plan to come back. Thanks for making our vacation special!

Nice place great location

Nice location, literally 50 yards to the Delaware Bay beach. Younger children and older folks enjoy the bay. Only 7 miles to Wildwood.... 5 to Cape May. Nice Great Room!!

Beautiful and convenient

Exactly what we were looking for. Spacious house with enough room for us, the kids, and my parents. Plus the dog! It's about a minute to walk to the beach, which was peaceful and perfect for swimming or a walk. Easy to get to other Cape May or Wildwood attractions in 20ish minutes.

Double Booked

We arrived at the property only to find out there were people already there who said they booked with the owners not through VRBO. We contacted the owner who apologized and tried to find us another property. We booked the property for 7 adults 2 children and 2 small dogs for a family party we were attending. There was no places available except for a hotel room in Wildwood My daughter and her children took the room and the remainder of our family had to return home missing out on the weekend festivities my Sister had planned for her 70th Birthday. The owner did refund our money and paid for the hotel room but that did not make up for what the other 5 adults missed out on “the celebration of my sisters 70th birthday “ in this age of technology the owner should not have overlooked this double booking. We will be very skeptical next time booking with VRBO.

The cottage was in a great location and was perfectly set up for our small family that included 2 small dogs. Overall, the unit was clean and tidy, but I did want to offer some feedback for housekeeping. Although the checkout instructions request the visitor to empty all trash cans and wipe down the inside of the refrigerator before leaving, on arrival we found both bathroom cans contained bathroom waste from the previous renter, and the refrigerator had not been wiped down. Housekeeping should take note that if the renters do not complete these tasks before checkout, then housekeeping should do them. It should not be left for the next visitor to find bathroom waste and a dirty refrigerator upon arrival.

What a location!

We loved this home. It was perfect for our needs and especially great for fishing. Our beagle had the best time in the fenced in yard and on the beach. So quiet in the neighborhood. We really loved the Greek restaurant The Olive Branch. Great food, BYO.

I will be more careful never to rent homes that do not offer towels and sheets. Also never to rent homes that limit paper towels and toilet paper, just not good. Pet hair on beds was kinda gross. Area was great though. Location nice.

Location, location, location

This cottage was quite adequate for our family of 4 adults, 2 children (ages 14 and 9) and a golden doodle. After dinner, the great room easily accommodated all six of us (and the dog) for movie watching or playing games. The real draw, however, is the cottage's location. The bay access is right across the street; it's a very easy walk to a beautiful beach. Both the neighborhood and the beach are quiet; maybe a little too quiet to suit our 14 yr old. But we loved relaxing on the beach, reading, building sand castles, walking, collecting shells and just enjoying being together. From the cottage it is an easy drive to many restaurants, the Cape May Atlantic Ocean side for boogie boarding (beach tags provided), the Cape May historic district with the beautiful "painted ladies" and shops, and the famous Cape May zoo. Finally, Erica was always available via text messaging if we had any questions. We really enjoyed our vacation in the Villas on the bay.

Family vacation

This property is awesome. Lots of room and gathering spaces. Easy access to Wildwood and Cape May with private beach across the street. My dog loved the fenced in yard and chasing the bunnies each morning.

This house was perfect for us—perfect location, clean, comfortable, lots of space. The “great room” was a pleasant surprise as we walked farther into the house—perfect for us to all congregate. We enjoyed ourselves immensely! We hope to make a return trip next year.

Perfect get away by the bay

Very clean, comfortable, and attractive, with a good balance of private spaces to nap or read, while still offering plenty of choices to hang out as a group: two living rooms, two decks, even two yards, one fenced in and one open.

Stunning Sunsets,Peaceful Moments

We enjoyed our visit to Baybreeze Cottage.The cottage was extremely clean, the beach theme relaxed you immediately, the location was great just steps to the beach. The neighbors were very friendly & the sunsets as good as Key West!!!! We also spent time in Cape May which is just a short ride away . The house is somewhat deceiving from the pictures-----it is larger than we expected ,the great room was a wonderful surprise. Walk on eggs shells in this property

We cleaned the entire place upon departure then got dinged for vomit specks on a bathroom wall, toilet and floor. Since I cleaned that bathroom prior to leaving, I have no idea what happened. It cost $170 to clean the entire property and Erica charged me $130 to wipe down one wall. I argued the toilet and floor needed to be cleaned anyway. Since there was an extra charge to clean the toilet and floor, I wonder if this is even part of their standard cleaning package. After explaining to Erica there were salt water taffy wrappers under one of the beds, she adamantly denied they were there, became infuriated and said they moved all the furniture right before our stay. But they were there. I only mentioned this to express her cleaning company may not be as thorough as she may think. Be careful when booking this property, as one little mess overlooked could add up to costly extra charges.

Beautiful sunsets & location

We really loved our stay. The sunsets from the side deck were beautiful, easy access to the beach & it had everything we needed it. Also an added bonus that we weren’t looking for it was handicap accessible which was great since I was on crutches. Erica was very easy to work with & got back to us when we had questions. Perfect location!

My family and I had such an amazing week at the cottage! We found the location to be perfect. It’s only a short drive to Cape May and Wildwood. Then you have a nice, quiet neighborhood to come back to. A 30 second walk to the bay beach for calm waters and the most incredible sunsets. There’s also a bunch of great local restaurants. We highly recommend this home!

We have 3 young children of our own and enjoy vacationing with family and hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the Delaware Bay after searching for a vacation spot near the New Jersey shore. We vacationed here in Villas in 2015 and loved the quiet, uncrowded, and family friendly bay beaches. Having 3 small children means that proximity to the beach is very important to us. We are less then 50 steps to the bay and the BEST sunsets in New Jersey. We purchased this home in 2017 with my parents after immediately falling in love with it because of its location.

What makes this property unique

We have a fenced in yard perfect for young children, a deck that’s perfect for dining outside while listening to the bay, and plenty of space inside for rainy days.

It’s great being close to all of the amazing attractions Wildwood and Cape May have to offer while also being so close to the quiet, laid back Delaware Bay beaches. Some of our favorites include: the Cape May Zoo; numerous locations for miniature golf & ice cream; Sunset Beach; the Park and Ride trolly in Downtown Cape May; amazing local wineries; some great playgrounds including Sunrise at Rambler Rd; the Cape May Lewes Ferry; all of the incredible restaurants, too many to list!
