Safety Harbor stay.

What an amazing place! So peaceful. The outdoors is a perfect oasis for relaxing. The cottage is a short walk to town etc. Love all the live Oaks. The inside is decorated beautifully and the kitchen was great for cooking. We had to leave due to a family emergency and Steve could not have been more understanding and compassionate. Looking forward to our next visit.

Piece of paradise

We loved this bungalow.It was as described and more. Very clean,well stocked with everything including fresh flowers.The kitchen has everything you need to make a nice meal. Beautifully decorated with comfy beds. I would not change a thing. Steve the owner was always available for questions and suggestions. We highly recommend this piece of paradise in Safety Harbor.

Absolutely wonderful

Location was great and I can’t say enough about how great the owners were and everything they provided. We intend to stay again. We had everything we needed and it was the best home we have stayed in.

Relaxing Stay in Safety Harbor

We enjoyed our stay at The Blue Heron- a very relaxing, comfortable, and clean home. The location is in a quiet neighborhood close to the shops and restaurants of Safety Harbor as well as beautiful walks along the bay which we enjoyed!

Wonderful, comfortable stay.

We stayed at this property for a month. Safety Harbor is a lovely community and this property is in the heart of it all yet far enough away that you can enjoy quiet evenings. This property is well stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The communication with the owners was excellent and they responded quickly to any questions we had always in a pleasant manner. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great small town feel in a big urban area

Very nice mid-20th century bungalow, updated, well landscaped and conveniently located not far from the center of town. The home was well equipped and welcoming. One could enjoy a relaxing ambiance of the home. Safety Harbor has a traditional small town feel with excellent restaurants, quaint shops and many weekend activities. The area features an excellent trail system and easy access to Tampa and other cities in the area. Had it not been reserved by someone else next year, we would have booked another stay

Great stay in Safety Harbor

This home was clean, comfortable, and well appointed with modern, quality furnishings. It is located in a quiet, upscale neighborhood five blocks from Old Tampa Bay and close to all major attractions. Owner was considerate and easy to work with. We had a great time.

A perfect home!

We have stayed in a number of VRBOs, and this one has to be one of the very best! From the moment we walked in the front door, we could tell that the owners had spent a lot of time in thinking about how to make the house as cheerful, welcoming and practical as possible. Basically, they have thought of everything! Want to cook dinners and eat in? The kitchen has everything you could want (far beyond the basics we see at many places). Want to sit outside and enjoy the weather? Lots of chairs and comfie pillows. Interested in spa passes, library cards, fitness center info? It's all there! And when we had a question, Steve was quick in responding, and so helpful! The place is cozy, yet feels quite expansive. Super clean. Very quiet too ... we had great, restful sleeps. Would highly recommend!!!

The short walk to town is ideal. But fair enough away if bands are playing at local bars or street festivals. Great outdoor area for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding.

Location is everything

Perfectly situated property- five minute walk to Main Street Safety Harbor with great restaurants and shops. Twenty minutes to Tampa and St. Pete airports, Dunedin, Honeymoon Island, thirty minutes to Tarpon Springs. Walking and bike trails nearby. Something happening every weekend on Main Street but a quiet residential area without the Clearwater traffic. I’d love to go back.

This is a great little spot walking distance to town. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. Great communication with the owner. The front patio is the perfect spot for outdoor space. We hope to come back sometime. Highly recommend

Great place in a special neighborhood

Safety Harbor is a great community with lots of neighborhood events, restaurants and resources. Be sure to check out the community center (pickleball, volleyball, gym) 2 blocks away. The walkability score of this VRBO would be outstanding if there was one. Communication with Steve, the owner, was great - he clearly cared about our comfort and was quick to answer questions. The house has all the things you need (e.g., dishes, towels, bedding) to enjoy your stay. The house is eclectic and just the right size for us and our 2 kitties. The patio was enchanting - great shade, comfy chairs, geckos and birds - we spent hours here enjoying the day and chatting with neighbors as they walked by. We stayed close to 6 weeks and would definitely come back.

Safety Harbor’s hidden gem

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the blue heron. Safety Harbor is a beautiful town. Walking distance to a wide selection of restaurants, shops, and safety harbor pier if you want to do any fishing. Quiet neighborhood and the patio was very relaxing to lounge and have a drink with my wife. The homeowners respond quickly to any questions or help you may need. They even provided every little thing we needed, from beach towels, cooking supplies, and a open bar. We loved the home, very beautiful upgraded cottage and nice decor. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

A Peaceful Retreat

Everything was perfect! We have stayed four times now in safety harbor and this by far was the best yet! Steve provides a super clean, well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood. His customer service is second to none. If you’re considering this property for your get away, grab it while you can!

Awesome cottage close to needed amenities. Short walk to downtown, waterfront, parks, dog park and breweries. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly and helpful neighbors. Owner communicates with you for any needs or general questions. Kitchen is equipped nicely. Master bedroom bed is comfortable. The patio on the front of the house is the perfect spot to sit with your morning coffee. Heck ..... it’s a great place all day if you want to just sit and read all day. Our trip was nearly 6 weeks and we weren’t ready to leave. If our daughter continues to live in Clearwater we will try to rent this spot in the future. You won’t regret staying here.

Amazing home and hosts!

Steve and Melissa could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I extended my stay because it was so peaceful and quiet. Steve was always available, day or night, and their home is exactly as depicted. Super charming bungalow, close to the marina to take walks by the water, and 15 or so minutes to Clearwater Beach. Perfect vacation spot, with a fully stocked kitchen to cook in. Loved the gas stove. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND! I hope to be back soon, and often!
