Very comfortable house, away from noise but a convenient distance from town. Fantastic communication with prop manager. This is the 2nd time family members have stayed here.
Property was perfect for a relaxing few days right on the harbor for the Fourth holiday. House was in great condition, check-in / out process was seamless (thanks, Pattie!) and we are already looking forward to being back!
This is our second time staying in this amazing home , and we will be back !! Beautiful view , very clean and well stocked . The fire place was perfect for this ideal setting and warmth .
We really enjoyed being there. So much so that we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The place is very conducive to just relaxing and enjoying the wonderfully quiet and beautiful water views. Great sunsets and sunrises.
This house is really gorgeous, the location is fantastic, very peaceful and convenient-- easy walk to small grocery, coffee stand, Burton Peninsula/Forest and to beach areas. It was immaculately clean and well set up. The home is very gracious and tasteful, yet not fussy. It was a real pleasure to be surrounded by so much beauty and nice things. Fresh flowers were a wonderful touch! And that porch! I could not get enough of that porch. The fire pit set up is also divine, but info on how/where to get wood would be helpful for visitors who don't have family or friends on the island to clue them in.
The kitchen is well-equipped and a pleasure to cook in (ground coffee and half and half greatly appreciated!), though there isn't much space to store any food except in the very nice fridge. There is a pantry area, but the shelves are full of displayed items.
Overall, storage and lighting were the drawbacks of this rental with almost no drawers or shelves (plentiful hanging options only), towel bars, bedside lamps (we are all avid bedtime readers and consider this essential) and some dark corners indoors.
Bedrooms and views are gorgeous. The king bed is unfortunately in the Lille Hus which was our least favorite aspect, though it was a very comfy bed. It is a well-appointed space, but a bit of a pain to go back and forth--and up and down as well. You really need to be aware that you will likely be leaving your stuff downstairs as there is a very steep stair to get to the loft. We used the table and sofa downstairs for our clothes and there is literally no place to set anything in the small bath.
Head's up for fragrance sensitive people (which we are not) that there were strongly scented products in the house--candle burning when we arrived, scented soaps, garbage bags and laundry detergent.
Pattie was very pleasant, responsive and the house/guest house was adorable. It had everything that we needed which was a huge relief for travelers that don’t want to have to pack up every little last thing for a quick getaway. The only thing I couldn’t find (and maybe it was there) was a cocktail shaker! Beautiful views. Comfortable accommodations. We will definitely be back.
The location of the house was amazing. Everything was beautifully decorated and clean. The house had everything we needed and more. We plan on coming back again to stay in the wonderful home. Thank you so much Pattie for opening your home to us, it was truly a relaxing and amazing vacation our family will remember for years to come!!!

Loved the house, waterfront views, island, and e-biking all over town.
Simply perfect. Architectural Digest would be proud of all the detail and quality that has been put into this waterfront home, right down to the painted baseboards. Immaculate with every amenity you’d need or want, and then some. We really loved our stay and Patti set us up well when we arrived and was a pleasure to work with...the views are picture perfect and Vashon Island was the ideal location to both relax and be active. If there was rain, we sat in the rocking chairs, listened to music and read books and when the sun was out, we rode our rented E-bikes from Vashon Ebikes (Erin the owner and her husband and daughter went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of, thank you!) We can’t stress how much fun we had on the powered bikes, 84 miles in 3 days. This is the only way to go with all the hills. The house is perfect for 3 couples although it was just the two of us celebrating our anniversary. We visited 2 wineries, bought some fresh fish and produce and enjoyed a fine meal at the house our last night. The other 2 nights we dined at Bramble House and May’s. Breakfast and coffee at The Hardware Store and the Roasterie, and one day we rode our ebikes to the Ferry at the southern tip over to Ruston for breakfast. On the way back we road Ferry to Ferry 13 miles and, with the ebikes, never broke a sweat. Book now and reserve your spot in paradise....the only negative is the sadness you will feel when you lock the door and turn off the music for the last time. As a side note, my wife manages short term rental beach properties back home in LA and walked away with some good tips to improve her rentals after staying at this home.

Spectacular setting and home.
Patti is an unusually gracious and attentive host. We felt taken care of but not intruded upon. Her responsiveness was great. The property is immaculate and designed artfully. Can't think of anything to improve either the place or the experience.

Spectacular location and tastefully decorated
This house was beautiful and the setting is magnificent. We had a family reunion in Vashon and we stayed here with our adult children. Plenty of room to lounge and relax.

Paradise on Vashon
What a surprise to find a rental that has been decorated and appointed like a high end home. Wonderful welcome basket, fresh flowers, beautiful décor, luxury sheets/towels/linens, stocked kitchenware, etc. It was beyond our expectations. And the property was so much bigger than pics showed- with lots of outdoor space to relax, play and cook. We can't wait to go back.

This property is exceptional in every way. The view of the Harbor ,the wrap around porch, fabulous well equipped kitchen, deliciously comfortable beds. So many thoughtful touches, great artwork and clearly the owners have panache, flair and exquisite taste. Definitely worth a return visit.
