This historic getaway is located in the charming town of Pony, MT at the foot of Hollowtop Mt. in the Tobacco Root Range and backs onto the N. Willow Creek making it a relaxing and picturesque destination. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and one with 2 twin beds, full bath, open concept living and dining room area (with sofa bed), full kitchen, washer/dryer as well as two great outdoor spaces for enjoying the amazing views and the babble of the creek. High speed internet is included.

Close to world class fly fishing, hiking and other recreational opportunities, the property is a great location for those wanting to hike, bike, fish, hunt, and explore. In winter enjoy winter activities such as snow shoeing, cross country skiing or snowmobiling. If relaxing and exploring the ghost towns of Montana is more your speed, the ‘Bailey White House' is the perfect home base with amazing historical buildings steps away and many opportunities to experience rustic Montana within easy reach. The Pony 'Bailey White House' is also a perfect artists' retreat!

Located 25 minutes to Lewis and Clark Caverns, 35 minutes to Ennis, MT, 50 miles to Bozeman, Mt. (home of the famous Museum of the Rockies), 104 miles to the West Entrance of magnificent Yellowstone National Park and close to the Madison, Gallatin and Jefferson rivers. The YKnot Barn is 1.8 miles, 5 minute drive. Within walking distance is the Pony Bar, Southwestern Montana's Real Western Bar; be sure to venture in for a friendly visit with locals and a cold beer or a real 'Moscow mule'!

The Bailey White House has been in the family for almost 100 years and has been a home and vacation home for many generations. We are pleased to be able to share this comfortable, clean, quaint property with you and your family and friends as you make memories in the shadow of Hollowtop Mountain.

Great Cabin in Pony

Great place to stay

This was perfect for my husband and two children to stay for family wedd. We were close to the wedding venue. We also were able to relax and enjoy the trails, creek, hot springs and take in gorgeous views. The place was clean and homey. Sandy was an amazing host! Great find!

Everything was perfect for our stay. First time for my in-laws to stay at a vacation rental and they kept saying how nice it was. We loved the back porch and saw a deer in the neighbors yard.

The house is sparkling clean with nice updates, beautiful furniture, and plenty of nice flatware, cutlery, cookware, towels, and other amenities. Actually does have a babbling creek through the property. We loved the house!

Relax

Beautiful setting with the sound of running water on the creek was so relaxing and rejuvenating. The home was a throwback to going to visit my grandparents full of heirloom furniture, pictures and history. I hope to return again to this area of Montana and would definitely stay in the home again.

Perfectly Peaceful!

Step back in time to the peace and tranquility of a bygone era. Hearing the creek in the background was a perfect addition to help unwind from the hustle and bustle of life. Communication with Sandy was excellent and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Really a great stay and all the authentic history in the house helped give a peaceful vibe of home filled with love. Really special place that allowed us to decompress from the stress of life. We hope to be back again!

Wedding

We recently stayed in Pony to celebrate my sons wedding. Pony is the cutest town ever. The rental was in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of green grass and a river that you could hear from the house. The house was beautiful and the surrounding area was beautiful. Our stay was perfect. The pantry was loaded and the best part was the full pound of coffee from a local roaster. It was delicious. The host was always available and returned my emails very quickly. We had no problems but did need to extend our stay. Everything about this rental was as it should be. If you need a place to stay in Pony this is it. We were less than 5 minutes from the YKnot venue which made going back and forth effortless.

Quaint and quiet!!

My family members and I enjoyed our visit to this quaint little town very much!! The accommodation was tucked in a quiet location with a lovely stream in the backyard!!! It was very clean and well stocked with the essentials!! I absolutely lived all of the antiques!! Would definitely stay again!!!

Fishing Trip

We had a wonderful time exploring the rivers and creeks for fishing. In the evening, it was nice to relax on the back porch with a cool breeze blowing. The sound of the creek lulls you to sleep. Good Times!

We had a great time in Pony and enjoyed our stay with family in the house! Very clean, had everything we needed, and the grounds are beautiful. Sandi is very quick to respond and is very helpful. Lives close by if there’s a problem. This is our second time here and look forward to staying again.
