On the edge of the Ria Formosa, is a quiet village with a walkway where you can walk enjoying the view of the ria and the village. In this village there are good restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, handcrafted ice cream and the market, not needing to use any means of transport.
Yellow Restaurant serves buffet-style Portuguese and Mediterranean specialties, and cocktails are available at the A Barca lobby bar. The pool bar, open during summer, offers light snacks.
You can visit picturesque villages such as Cacela Velha, 13 minutes' drive away, for regional cuisine.
Faro International Airport is 40 km away and Golden Club Cabanas and Conceição Train Station are 2.5 km away.
