Stunning old stone houses near Seillans - magnificent views

Roquelune includes two stone houses built on the mountainside. They enjoy a clear view over a valley of pines and oaks and in the distance on the village of Fayence.
The 2-hectare site is located on the slope, on many banks, one of which has a swimming pool. It is planted with olive trees, oaks, pines, almonds, figs, aloes and laurels. The walls of the banks are made of dry stone. The valley is very preserved, the house has no opposite.
The ground floor of the lower house is located directly on the path of Peymeyan, cul-de-sac road serving a dozen additional houses.
It houses a garage and a workshop. On the 1st level is an office, accessible from the common terrace and where is installed Internet. At the back of this house, there are two large double bedrooms, a large bathroom and a toilet.
The ground floor of the main house includes the kitchen / dining room, the laundry room and the living room. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a children's room (with bunk beds), two bathrooms, one en suite and a toilet. At this level, a door gives direct access to the bank of the pool.

The houses have been completely renovated (kitchen and bathrooms included) in the last four years.

The swimming pool (12m x 4m) is equipped with a shutter, safety equipment that also allows to maintain a higher water temperature in June and September. The technical room is located under the pool, accessible from the lower bank.
The two houses are connected by a common terrace, in the shade of a bicentenary lime tree, real place of life where there is a table and a small garden.

The house is fully equipped: fridge, oven, dishwasher, freezer, washing machine, coffee machine.
Beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided. You will be greeted by a person of confidence who will show you the house and give you some instructions to respect: special attention to the risk of fire (vigilance for cigarettes and barbecues prohibited) frequent summer.

THE REGION: BETWEEN SEA AND MOUNTAIN
Mountain: the foothills of the Southern Alps
Since Roquelune, access is direct to many hiking trails leading to the mountains of Fayence, Seillans and Mons, almost virgin of any construction. Hiking guides that you will find in the library of the house will indicate the paths to take. The Gorges du Verdon are less than an hour's drive away, but many other nearby places are also suitable for swimming, such as the Siagne Gorge, which has many natural pools (see hiking guides in the house).

villages
The perched villages of Fayence are close: Fayence, Seillans ("one of the most beautiful villages in France"), Tourrettes, Caillian, Montauroux and in particular Mons, lost in the mountains at 1000m altitude. The view of the entire Riviera, on a clear day, is spectacular. Other perched villages such as Bargemon, Claviers, Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, Bagnols-en-Forêt, etc., are also nearby.

Side
The beaches of Fréjus and the Côte d'Azur are very popular in summer, but there are still some pieces of preserved coast, such as Cape Dramont (50mn from Roquelune) or the creeks of Saint-Raphaël, located on the road to Theoule -on sea.

Golf and gliding
For golf lovers, the golf course of Terre Blanche, in the town of Tourrettes, visible in the distance since Roquelune, is located just on the other side of the valley. Another golf course is in the mountains, an hour's drive away, at Taulane Castle, la Martre.
Finally, the gliding center Fayence, also visible from Roquelune, offers air baptisms glider.

The nearest village on foot is Seillans, where you will find a newsagent, a bread depot, a small supermarket and a pharmacy.
