At the top of Morgan Hill, you are a 10 minute walk to Fort Worden or Historic Downtown. Five minute walk to Uptown Port Townsend.

On the bottom floor of our home is the newly renovated one-bedroom apartment which comfortably sleeps two adults having a queen-size bed with luxury linens. Enjoy a new kitchen that is equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and cookware. The living room has comfortable, cozy seating, dining table for 4, a wine bar and a Smart TV that includes Netflix, Amazon, YouTube TV and Hulu. The large bathroom has a washer/dryer for your convenience.

An outdoor area is provided with table and chairs--a great place for your morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening.

Most likely you will be entertained by the "resident" deer that enjoy our neighborhood.

A lovely, calm oasis tucked into a quiet neighborhood

This charming, comfortable, well-appointed apartment is the literal definition of getting away from it all. This spacious one-bedroom quiet, cool enclave nestled beneath the hosts' home was perfect for us two over a three-day weekend in mid June. The place was so cool that we were happy to turn up the heat overnight. The kitchen and bedroom windows of this basement space look out to a covered patio and well-tended garden and yard. With the blinds closed the place stays very dark and restful. We were lazybones and slept very late. Our hosts were quiet as dormice at night. In the evening we happily snuggled on the cushy L-shaped sofa to enjoy our current Netflix binge via the hosts' guest account. We found a tray of chocolates and a binder containing very helpful tips about local activities, eateries and watering holes. The author obviously had my number! Among several good options the notes highlighted good coffee, good beer, burgers and fish and chips. A stacked washer and dryer in the large bathroom is a nice touch. There is a shower in the bathroom and that was just fine for us. Waste water from the bathroom is run through a clever pump system which will make a little noise now and again and one quickly gets accustomed to that. Our hosts were unfailingly gracious and attentive. We received clear check-in instructions via email and were able to stay in touch via text and email. A wonderful stay and we will happily return!

This was a perfect little getaway! They thought of everything, a delicious muffin, a nice bottle of wine. Delicious chocolates. Lots of choices for coffee and tea with half-and-half and bottled water in the fridge! It was comfortable, clean and beautifully appointed. Thank you so much!

Exceeds expectations

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The bungalow is ideally located within walking distance to both downtown and Fort Worden, with incredibly scenic views from the driveway. The hosts were great in ensuring all our comfort needs were met. The bungalow was immaculate and beautifully appointed and supplied with more than the basic necessities. I can't say enough about how enjoyable our stay was. We look forward to returning!

Perfect spot in Port Townsend

Teresa was a great host - she kindly left a bottle of wine, terrific muffin and a bottle of Perrier. The unit was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of towels, comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. Good Wi-Fi, TV, nice eating and sitting area. I will definitely go back on my next visit.

Wonderful place to stay!

we came to PT from Germany and felt really comfortable in the apartment. Nothing was missing. My husband is a wheelchair user and was able to move around the apartment without any effort. The apartment is well suited for wheelchair users. The hostess Teresa is very accommodating and attentive - everything was super prepared. We would love to come back!👍👍

Ideal location

New to us, this apartment is centrally located between Fort Worden access and uptown. We easily walked to both locations and downtown as well and avoided car use. The unit was the super clean. We will be back.

Comfy hideaway

Right away we felt at home in this clean and comfortable “apartment”! There was a sweet homey feel and very welcoming! We appreciated the bottle of wine and fresh breakfast muffins from a local bakery! A nice touch. We would easily return.

4 day get-a-way

In a word, PERFECT! The host greeted me from the deck of her home and has asked me how my drive was knowing I drove in from Federal Way. A very nice flow through the layout of the apartment. As you walk in, you walk through the kitchen where there is a bottle of wine and 2 muffins on the counter, then you go through the bedroom, which has access to a full bath with washer and dryer, and then into the living room/dining room, and again back into the kitchen. Your own private driveway & entrance. Everything you need in the kitchen for basic cooking and eating. Short walk to town with plenty of breweries and wine tasting. I brought apples to slice up and feed the deer which I saw every day. Lots of history nearby with Fort Worden, Fort Townsend, and also a Torpedo X-Ray tower. The price point was perfect. I will use this property again.

Great apartment and location - will stay again!

My husband and I stayed over the weekend and this apartment had everything we needed. We usually are in PT a few times a year (including just staying on our boat in the summer) and this little apartment is a hidden gem. Cute one bedroom/1.5 bath with everything you could need. Private entrance (watch for the deer! Especially if you come “home” after dark! - they are amazing!). It is a little bit of a “hike” up the hill from town if you want to walk, but should be fine in warmer months. It was a bit chilly for us to walk, but literally a straight shot driving down to town. Would definitely stay here again and recommend. Teresa was great (and quick) with communication. She also left muffins and a lovely bottle of wine to welcome us. Thanks so much!

Great apartment, great location

We were in town for the wooden boat festival and were fortunate to stay in this pretty, comfortable, well-appointed apartment in a nice quiet neighborhood. The location was excellent for us—about a 20 minute walk from downtown, 25 to the point, and about 20 to Fort Warden. We parked our car and walked everywhere. It’s up from Uptown, so you get a good hill in a few times a day! I like it quiet and appreciated the tranquil setting.

Great place to stay

We needed a place where we could work remotely and sleep, we got way more than that. The owners provided coffee, some snacks, and a bottle of wine, there is a TV with many streaming options to choose from, laundry with detergent provided. It was very quiet and peaceful the whole time. While we worked several young deer slept just outside the window. It was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect Couples Stay in Port Townsend

The 1-bedroom apartment is located in the lower section of the owner's raised ranch. The apartment has its own entrance, patio, and parking area. The apartment is nicely designed with ample space, and the kitchen is fuuly equipped with a stove, microwave, full-sized fridge, toaster and Keurig coffee maker (no dishwasher). The bed was very comfortable, and the linens (both towels and sheets) were top notch. I really appreciated that the linens were white, and washed in hot (140 degree) water. Everything was in good repair, and sweet touches were everywhere - a bottle of wine, bakery fresh muffins, orange juice, K-cups with creamer and a selection of tea bags. It was very evident that Chris and Teresa take a lot of pride in their rental. My husband and i really enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood (no AC units buzzing or dogs barking!). We found the deer wandering the neighborhood to be very charming. We did walk to a small park down the hill. We also drove to North Park and hiked the 1-1/2 miles to Glass Beach. Port Townsend is a lovely town, and Chris and Teresa's apartment make it very easy to explore. As a side note, remember to make reservations well in advance if you plan to catch the Coupeville ferry!

Wonderful Apartment Wonderful Hosts!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in the apartment! The place was immaculate and Teresa and Scott thought of every possible detail to ensure you had everything you need. Including, supplying not only coffee/tea but creamers and sugar. We were also very grateful for the amazing fresh muffins and bottle of wine waiting for us! The beds were so comfortable and had such a cozy comforter on the bed for the cool nights! Teresa and Scott were met us on arrival and felt like we have known them forever by the end of our stay. They give you many recommendations of things to do and where to eat making sure they give you their tried and true favorites! Trust me they know the good stuff! I hope someday to return to Port Townsend and I will definitely contact these wonderful hosts.

Fabulous place in great location!

Wonderful Place

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The location and neighborhood was excellent. We moved from Texas to Port Townsend in 2008 to be near our first grandchild. We fell in love with the beautiful area with the majestic views of water and snow-capped mountains. Since moving here, hiking the many trails has become a passion. We love the quaintness of Port Townsend, a Victorian Seaport, with so much history.

We chose this property as we wanted to be walking distance to the main attractions of Port Townsend. We are a 10 minute walk to Fort Worden and to downtown. It is just a 5 minute walk to Uptown where you can find Aldrich's country grocery store, bakery, restaurants and shops.

Morgan Hill is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Any time of the day you will see people out walking and visiting. The deer enjoy this neighborhood too!
