Short sweet visit.

This was a lovely place. We only stayed for one night. The views were amazing and the host was very accomodating. She did my mom's laundry and was very friendly. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Coastal Living Stay

We enjoyed our stay in the St Margaret’s Bay Area. The Coastal Living condo was convenient to all there was to see. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the bay for breakfast, and at the end of a day of exploring. We had a problem with the refrigerator/freezer not working properly and the owner responded quickly to give us a small one which actually was quite adequate and even had a working freezer! I only have one suggestion - a broom or small vacuum cleaner would have been helpful for tidying up. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay.

Little Halifax getaway

We loved this place! Perfect and close to Halifax, Peggy’s cove, lunenburg and a bunch of other small towns along the coast. The property had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking essentials and a bbq as well. It was absolute perfection

A perfect spot

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay here. Well appointed and a great view. Peaceful and quiet yet a short distance from everything in the area. Should have stayed longer than our four nights and hope to visit again. Thanks for great memories from our vacation!

Waiting to exhale!!

The check in was easy and the minute you enter… you exhale and smile!! The view grabs your attention first and then vibe of the furniture: clean lines, modern and comfortable. Some very cool lighting. Full kitchen with a microwave and a full fridge. There is a grill out on the deck but I only sat out there and enjoyed listening to the birds. Bed is comfortable and another great view with a balcony. Loved it and the hosts were very nice and responsive. Most definitely will return.

What a Gem

This is a very nice place and well appointed in ALL aspects. From the minute we walked in the door, we realized how comfortable this place was from the decor, amenities and our favourite place to be...the two balconies overlooking the bay. There are 15 stairs up to the loft bedroom but once up there and you see the view from your balcony and/or the very comfortable queen bed, you realize it’s worth the climb. Another balcony right off the kitchen made for a nice place to enjoy a drink while dinner was cooking. The owners Ron and Marlene were very helpful and accommodating and right next door if you needed anything. The location is optimal for trips to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Chester and Lunenburg. The owners did allow us to bring our 10 lb Bichpoo and we appreciated that. If all of our accommodations booked throughout our Maritime’s holiday was like this one, we would have no need to rush to get home!

The Perfect Spot!

My daughter and I had such a wonderful vacation staying in this loft apartment. It had everything you could want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It was so close to a few places we wanted to visit, such as Lunenberg, and Peggy's Cove. It was also very accessable to beaches nearby. I would highly recommend a stay here, for a beautiful, peaceful vacation in Nova Scotia! The apartment is in a perfect spot! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place! Looking forward to returning some day.

Lovely & peaceful

This spot has breathtaking views. The ocean is literally on your doorstep and there are two balconies from which to enjoy the water and birds. Everything is there to cook meals. It is a thoughtful spot perfect for two or great as a writer's retreat. Thank you for sharing.

Peaceful Break!

What an amazing place to rest and recharge. It was perfect for my husband and small dog for a week following a hectic family visit in the Halifax area. The photos do not do the apartment justice. It is immaculate and beautifully furnished and the tranquility on the two balconies was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this retreat as a terrific base close to Halifax and all the delights of the South Shore. All your essential shopping needs are within an easy 10 minute drive.

Beautiful apartment right on St Margaret’s Bay. Modern clean elegant.

Property was what we were hoping for. Clean, quiet, elegant and convenient. Owners very nice, friendly and helpful. This beautiful location nessicates multiple stair cases to take advantage of the captivating views. We loved this property. How to rebook in the future.

Peaceful View !

We really enjoyed our stay here at the head of St. Margaret's Bay. Note that the house is right off the street and you cannot really get down to the water yet. The views were great and the place has been going through a remodel. Modern furniture and great new floors. This location is fine to be a base for local attractions, about 40 minutes from Halifax.

Clean, peaceful getaway! Would definitely recommend!

The rental is right on the water with amazing views out of every window! If you want a quiet getaway this is a great place. The kitchen is fully equipped Which is greatly appreciated as well. We would stay here again!

Beautiful location. Comfortable apartment. Helpful and responsive owners.

We originally booked three nights and ended up staying for six, due to some schedule changes. Couldn't have been happier to extend the stay! The views from the two balconies are wonderful and it is just so peaceful. Very comfortable bed and living room. The island table in the kitchen worked out perfectly! I would definitely stay here again!
