Fantastic barn conversion in beautiful gardens
The property was very well equipped, extremely clean and comfortable. A highlight was the gardens, an amazing space to relax, admire or play games in the arboretum. The chickens and sheep were very friendly! Close by we enjoyed numerous fantastic restaurants, forest and hill walks, and canoeing down the Severn. Thank you - a lovely holiday in a beautiful location.

Excellent Christmassy Hideaway
We stayed over the Christmas period. Rob and Tam provided the most perfect location with decorations and thoughtful touches. It was clean, warm and welcoming. We fed the sheep and talked to the chickens. We strolled the lanes and visited local towns. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, dressing gowns and even fluffy slippers. We hope to stay again when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy all of the outside spaces. Thank you Rob and Tam for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

The best we've seen!
The barn is a beautifully converted property, fitted out to the highest standards we have seen. Equipment and provisioning was first class and as veterens of many cottage hires, this was the best ever. Location is great for visiting the area. Quiet and beautiful setting in an old farm. We had the optional hot tub, which was excellent. Owners were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Local pub (live and let live) was excellent. Great food and very friendly.

Absolutely faultless countryside getaway
I cannot fault this place, it's just the perfect countryside getaway. Rob is an experienced, helpful, courteous, thoughtful host. Everything is catered for and they are extremely generous with the amenities they leave for your stay. All manner of things were there at our fingertips, tin foil, bin bags, cleaning products, tissues, napkins, ample cutlery, crockery, bakeware and even shower gel and new toothbrushes. It really is a home from home. The rooms are decorated to compliment the countryside charm of the barn and feel warm and homely yet grand a sumptuous all at the same time. Rob left us food so my 3year old daughter could feed Blossom the sheep who lives in the garden. Something she loved doing, it was an enriching activity and demonstrates how he goes over and above to ensure guests enjoy their time there. Cannot recommend staying here enough. You're in safe hands and the property is fantastic.

Relaxing Staycation
Just returned from a relaxing stay in the Oak Barn. Spacious property, perfect for our family of 5 with everything thought of. All amenities were met, and lots of added extra touches to make our stay perfect. The owners Rob & Tammy were very friendly and approachable, and have made this property a lovely comfortable place to stay. Perfect location for exploring the beautiful surroundings and the hot tub was a must for relaxing at the end of a busy day. The grounds were peaceful and our children loved the friendly sheep & chickens (and the adorable baby chicks!). Thank you to Rob for leaving us a bag of sheep nuts to feed the sheep. Thanks again, we are already planning a return visit 😊

Idyllic location, beautiful house
Idyllic, peaceful setting and a beautiful, immaculate house - the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday. Everything had been thought of, with some really lovely touches for the children and for us. Our boys particularly loved the garden with the chickens and friendly sheep. Rob, who owns the property was super friendly, giving the boys sheep nuts so they could feed the animals and helping us out with local recommendations. There are some beautiful walks right from the door – and many more just a short drive a way. We would all love to come back again one day!

Far enough away to be out of the way, but close enough to everything you need.
The perfect get away for my family and myself. It was a long overdue break, but both the property and the owners were very welcoming. During the evenings, it was so peaceful (even with the children), being in a rural setting. Also during the day, it was close enough to many places worth a visit. Everything within the accommodation was well furnished, finished, and very well equipped. All boxes ticked 👍🏻

Idyllic corner of Shropshire
This excellent and well-equipped barn conversion has its main room upstairs with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Everything was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed all the little touches that made it feel homely. The patio assigned to this property is secluded and yet part of the lovely gardens. The owner who lives on site made us feel very welcome and was very helpful in answering any questions we had throughout the week. It is a lovely area to explore, either directly from the property or slightly further afield to Worcester, Malvern or Ludlow.

Meet the owners

We (Rob & Tam) moved into Church House Farm in 2015, we simple fell in love with the house and the area. The cottages have been let for several years by the previous owners and we have taken over the running of the facilities. We are quite fussy individuals, and expect high standards when we have holidays so have kept that in mind and have applied this to the cottages. This has gained us 5 Star Gold Visit England award. Since becoming holiday let owners we have been overwhelmed by the lovely people we have let our properties to. We’ve really enjoy meeting and sharing our property and surroundings with other people who can appreciate it as much as we do. By day we are both working professionals, who arrive back home to our tranquillity where we find solace in the garden; Tam with the flowers and borders, and Rob with his ride on lawn mower! We have 2 boys, 2 dogs, chickens, sheep and 2 Bengal cats who love roaming the grounds and the surrounding area looking for adventure.
