This romantic and welcoming 65 sqm penthouse is located on the second floor of a period building in the heart of Trastevere. Furnished with refinement and attention to detail, the apartment offers a warm, elegant and full of light atmosphere with the antique terracotta floor, the ceiling with exposed wooden beams and a fireplace. It has a large living room with living area and dining area, a fully equipped independent kitchen, a large double bedroom, a bathroom with window, bathtub and shower and a small furnished terrace. The apartment, although located in the heart of Trastevere, is particularly quiet. Incredible option for a family visit to Rome!
We had a blast over Christmas and New Years in this beautiful apartment full of character. The beautiful architectural features and quirks made it so fun and interesting and we had everything we needed for a long stay over Christmas and New Years. The neighborhood was better than we ever could have imagined, having everything we could have asked for and more! Would definitely stay here again. Only down side for a family is the narrow stair case up to the apartment, making it a slight challenge with a stroller, otherwise it was perfect!

Perfect - almost
Beautiful location in the heart of Trastevere. Outside the appartement very busy, inside completely quiet. The equipment is comfortable but rather old. You must however hope that nothing stops working. We lived here for 4 weeks. On day 3 the fridge stooped working. We contacted at once WeekeyRentals, but for three weeks nothing happened. Finally we informed FeWo, they helped us immediately , and for the last 4 days during a stay of 28 days we had a fridge.

Lovely Apartment!
We absolutely loved this apartment in Trastevere! Fun and lively neighborhood that is close enough to walk or catch a bus to the historic sights. The apartment is big, but is a walk up some stairs so be warned if you have heavy suitcases/bags. The bathroom and shower is small, but covers all your needs for a bathroom. The apartment also has AC in the main bedroom and living room, which is nice for those hot Rome days. The little patio is lovely for a morning coffee! We would definitely stay again!

Great Location
Superb location - the apartment is beautiful, though a very tight squeeze for two adults and two kids aged 10 and 12. The sofa bed is small. And on the whole, the place could do with a bit of TLC. The bedding for the sofa bed didn't appear to be clean, the apartment wasn't well stocked with plates etc...so...you know...a little bit of effort would go a long way.

Great Stay in Trastevere
Really enjoyed our stay in this little apartment with a small balcony and lots of character. It was really well situated in the heart of Trastevere. So much going on right around it, lots of places for great food, drinks, gelato and easy access to the Ponte Sisto walking bridge across the Tiber. Good shopping too. We were able to really relax in the space with a small, well decorated and comfy living/dining space. There are definitely lots of stairs and watch your head in the kitchen. Check in was really easy, owner and agent really responsive and flexible with the arrival. Stayed here 2x on our trip and very happy we did.

Rome for a week.
We absolutely loved this property and the location was the best. We felt that we were able to live like locals for the time we were there. We shopped in the market that was right next door and cooked many of our own meals. When we ate out we were surrounded by an infinite amount of amazing restaurants. We would highly recommend this property.

Cozy apartment in great location
The apartment it was just as pictured and in a great location to walk to everything. Emanuele was very helpful with our check-in. People's comments about the low ceilings are accurate, but that somehow just added to the charm. We would definitely return.

Great location and spacious loft!
My husband and I loved this apartment! We didn't realize that it was a 4th story walk up but there were perks to being on the top floor, the exposed beams were gorgeous, and it kept most of the street/party music at bay. We loved staying in this fun, food and bar focused district, and it was within a 30 min walk from either the Colosseum or the Vatican. The bathroom was a little small but that is to be expected in Europe. We would totally stay here again :)

Fantastic apartment in lively neighborhood!
Check-in and check-out for this lovely, spacious apartment was easy, and we would stay here again. We appreciated the AC, pretty terrace, charm, and easy access to neighborhood markets, restaurant, the river, and transportation (tram and bus). It was a perfect spot from which to explore all of Rome. Despite the many cafés in the neighborhood, the apartment faces away from the street life and was completely quiet and tranquil. That made it the best of both worlds, really. Awesome spot for a great vacation.

A fun stay
We were surprised to find that this spot was right in the middle of the bar/restaurant sector and was still quiet for sleeping. It was a wonderful location for walking, shopping and eating. It’s within 20 minutes walking of the Vatican, Ancient Rome, and central Rome. The area is very busy with tourists and locals alike. If you like fresh air, you will hear the sounds from the street, but otherwise it’s surprisingly quiet inside. It is 4 flights up so be prepared! We enjoyed our 4 night!

Adorable Attic Apartment with "hobbit" kitchen
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful little apartment. It is very cute and holds a family with two smaller kids easily (the couch folds out into a smallish bed). The place is incredibly quiet — especially given that it is in the heart of a very lively part of town. However, you've got to be comfortable with lots of stairs and very low ceiling height in the kitchen. Also, light tends to stream into the main room in the morning so it isn't great for people who need absolute darkness to sleep. We'd highly recommend this apartment and will come back when we visit Rome next.

Just OK….
This unit was OK. The best thing this unit had going for it was location. The shower was dreadful. You could barely use it. The kitchen could not be used as you could not stand up in the kitchen. There are 4 flights of stairs up to the unit and then another flight up inside the actual unit. Not conducive after a long day of walking. The unit needs some serious updating. And the floors need a good scrubbing.

Great location, great management, great apartment
This apartment had everything we needed. Appliances were easy to use and an instruction booklet answered any questions we had. The location was perfect! It is in the middle of the Trastavere area of Rome. Amazing restaurants, shops and gelato nearby. There is a guided tour of the area. Its in a busy location but we didn't hear any noise once inside the apartment. The management company/representative, Olga, is the best! Upon checking us in she gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They were spot on every time! On the day of check out, we had some issues with our travel arrangements (our fault) and Olga helped us change our transportation to the airport as well as give extra time until we had to leave to catch our flight. Her help made a chaotic situation tolerable. She's the best.

Not like the photos
The only aspect we liked about this apartment was the location. The place looks nothing like the photos on Vrbo sight. Pictures need to be updated. Dirty, run down, no hot water until 2nd day and then only lukewarm, electric outlets hanging off wall, duct tape used for electrical outlets and shower repairs, bathtub long and skinny so very dangerous when showering bc the sides at angle when standing up to shower, bathroom filthy. There was one roll of toilet paper for 3 of us (for 3 day stay) and we had to go buy more plus paper towel. No dryer and no drying tanks for laundry. Very dark apartment bc only one window in living room and tiny window in bedroom. You can't use the kitchen if you're over 5 feet bc the roof is slanted so you have to duck down to get thru the door and then crouch while in kitchen. Alot of stairs so don't pack a large suitcase. Apartment and hallways smelled of mold stagnant air. Hideaway bed is horribly uncomfortable and furniture is worn and stained. Dangerous coming out of the bathroom bc stairwell to downstairs has first step that is located right outside the bathroom door which isn't optimal bc you have to duck down to get thru the bathroom doorway. Overall, we were very dissatisfied and disappointed by our stay. Location was the only plus. Would not recommend if you're expecting it to look like the photos that are posted. Photos make it look bigger, brighter, cleaner and newer than actual place today.

Charming, very clean and fabulous location!
We had a fantastic trip to the eternal city thanks to the lovely folks at WeeKey rentals. Lucrezia was extremely helpful and prompt in her responses to our questions, our trip planning and extra accommodations we requested throughout our trip. She responded immediately to all our inquiries. The apartment itself is charming and spacious. We were expecting it to be much smaller and were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness. Raffele greeted us upon arrival, acclimated us and extended his warm welcome and availability for the duration of our stay should we need anything. Discovered near the end of our stay a few fabulous restaurants near the apartment. Dar Poeta was by far the best pizza we ate in Rome, La Isole Sicilia an adorable eatery featuring Sicilian cuisine when looking for something a bit different from the traditional Roman fare. Across the Tiber in the Ghetto, Nonna Betta a delicious restaurant as well the artichokes were amazing. Aperol Spritz's at Sotto's rooftop bar around the corner from apartment on the square at the foot of the Ponte Sisto and gelato every night at Rustago where we became friends with the adorable Ukrainian girl serving. All places within a short walking distance from our apartment. Will definitely be back and rent this lovely space again. Thank you WeeKey!

Great location for short people
Great location in a fun lively Trastevere neighborhood with close proximity to a pedistrian bridge across the river. Emmanuel provided a nice check in process, answering questions, marking up maps etc. We were also required to provide a payment in the form of cash. That was confusing, especially as the amount is not itemized on our invoice. Accomodations were adequate, not nearly as bright and crisp as the photos would suggest, however. The floor looks dingy. As others have noted the property features rounded Hobbit doors. Depending on your height they are either charming or a nuisance. I'm 192 cm tall. I grew weary of ducking and flinching. I dreaded using the shower. I would have had to literally crouch to access half the kitchen. Also have to echo other comments that access to the bathroom is a hazard area at the top of the steps. Be careful at night. And by that I mean to watch both your feet and your head.

My short stay in Rome
* Location and quietness were great. * Overcharged, dirty floors, and limited communication not so great. If you do not have a phone that works in Europe, you will not be able to book here. Booking and Check-in * Upon booking, received communications immediately stating the expected fees, note, there was some discrepency in terms of what VRBO asked me to pay versus what I paid (about 70 Euros -- not including city fees) * Received communications a week out requesting my arrival time * Sent response 3 days before arrival due to lack of network access, I also inquired about the meetup and if early deposit of luggage would be possible * Responded back within 12 hours of my arrival (over 48 hours later) * Asked me to text when I was 30 minutes outside the place * Was gracious enough to allow us the early check-in with our bags * Colleague was there waiting for us upon arrival and even carried a bag up the stairs The Location * Place was easy to find and accessible. A little far from any trainstation though. * Shower had bathroom supplies * Working appliances like fridge and clothes washer * Awkward step around the bathroom, be careful * Other reviews about small doors are accurate * Floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in a long time, our feet became rather dirty when walking on it, so we ended up wearing shoes the entirety of our visit * Despite the great scene outside, very quiet at night Other details * Checkout was easy, we just left the keys behind

Very cute and well located apartment, quiet too!
This apartment is the cutest thing ever! Rounded hobbit doors, exposed beams, etc. Please note ceilings in kitchen and bathroom are low, and the stairs are a bit dangerous the way the top stair clips into the bathroom entry (so no small children for sure and don't drink too much and have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night either!). It's located right in the heart of Trastevere so the entry door is between two bars, couldn't get any closer to the action if you tried. Neverthless the apartment is very quiet at night even if there are parties raging below (and there were). The apartment is also air conditioned and it was really hot the week we were there so that was useful. Would recommend, if you have no small children and if you are strong enough to carry your luggage up three steep flights of narrow stairs.
