About this property

1930's Little-O-Cottage with pool, near historic downtown and the beach

Welcome to our Little o Pool cottage. An eclectic and well-cared-for homes, thoughtfully designed for seasoned travelers who crave an authentic neighborhood experience. Nestled on a charming, quaint, and quiet tree-lined street, our cottages offer a rare and delightful escape from the hustle and bustle, with only the occasional distant train whistle to remind you of the old world.

Enjoy the saline pool, a rare find in the heart of Downtown West King. It’s the perfect spot to cool off, unwind, and create lasting memories.

Our location is just 1 mile from the center of Historic Downtown, home of the iconic Flagler College. We are only 4 miles from the sun-kissed shores of Anastasia State Park Beach. Our neighborhood is a harmonious blend diverse & colorful people… surrounded by enticing local attractions such as The Bogg Brewery, Buena Onda Cafe (a vegetarian delight), West Egg, and Discovery Yoga.

This is no touristy enclave; our neighborhood is proudly off the beaten path, a super hip, lovely area. Historic roots run deep here – once known as ‘Little Africa’ following the American Civil War in 1866, our community was established by a group of freedmen. In 1878, when streets were laid out, part of it became known as Lincolnville, a name bestowed by Abraham Lincoln’s private secretary, John Hay. Eventually, it evolved into the vibrant West King district, honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King. Today, West King is a funky and eclectic neighborhood that embraces both young families and retirees.

Lush, shady trees line our streets, providing a cool and comfortable respite during the balmy summer months. And if you’re craving a day at the beach, fret not – the drive is easy, with several stunning beaches just within 5 miles.

Our cottages offer not just a place to stay but a chance to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of this historic and vibrant neighborhood. Book your stay today and experience the beauty, charm, and unique character of West King for yourself

Perfect first time St. Augustine experience!!

St. Augustine has been on our bucket list for so long. Wanting to immerse ourselves in the local community, the cottage on Smith Street checked all of the boxes for us!! The eclectic and vintage furnishings brought back wonderful memories of my childhood and I instantly felt right at home. My only regret is that I wished we stayed longer! So close to the historic district and there were so many local favorites that were within walking distance. Alloe and Renee were incredibly responsive to any questions that we had throughout our whole stay. Loved having the private pool and there was even a little community book shelf next door!! Located in the historic West King area, we felt like we were part of the community. We loved every minute of our stay!!
