A Great Place For A Perfect Vacation

We considered this to be one of the best vacations in a long time. Our place was so nice. Susie is very organized and the check in process was so easy. WE WILL BE BACK TO THIS VERY RENTAL!

Great Location! Unit as described!

Property was WELL DESCRIBED in listing. No surprises. Clean. Kitchen well stocked with all necessary cookware, (minimal condiments). Using the TVs were challenging, but that seems to be common these days rentals since each once can be unique. VERY close to beach. SHORT bike ride to Sanctuary, where we dined and had drinks poolside at Loggerheads. ( Very enjoyable, but expect resort prices.) The Nest at Night Heron Park VERY close also. Condo proximity was the best we have had at Kiawah. Property manager was EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE and accommodating when we experienced a BRIEF glitch with HVAC unit. My VRBO ratings are largely based on how well my wife sleeps. Bed was comfy. Clean and stain-free. Multiple pillow options. We felt perfectly safe. Didn’t see a single insect, or signs of insects inside during our stay. We were plenty cool inside, despite sweltering heat outdoors. Accommodations allowed us to rest well after active days out.

Beach week

An excellent unit for 2 people that is very convenient to the beach. The screened porch provides additional living space, and the wooded environment adjacent to the porch is enjoyable and adds privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice location

We have always used Pam Harrington and use to nice amenities. We had what we needed however bathroom smelled like they cleaned w a soured cloth. Only one hand towel? And quality of linens left a lot to be desired. Sheets scratchy and poor quality. Thin non absorbent towels. Furniture smelled musty but overall location nice.

Perfect Location

Just steps from a private beach. Although you can't see the water from your porch, the walk to the water is under a minute. Home is small but comfortable. Check in and communication from the property manager were excellent and timely. Lacked some of the extra niceties I have had before such as some beach chairs, toys and boards. But overall a great stay.

Great location

Condo is small but perfect for two. It was clean and had everything you need. Very comfortable bed. We enjoyed the screened in porch! Very short walk to beach! Rented bikes and explored the island. Great relaxing week.

Great location close to the beach.

Beautiful area and truly just steps from the beach. We enjoyed walking the paths and admiring the homes. The drive out to Kiawah is very pretty, and relaxing. Be aware it is approximately 30-40 minutes to Charleston. Our villa did not allow use of any beach chairs or accessories, as most other villas did. Also, we had problems with the cable TV, and waited 2 days for a guy to come to fix one of the remotes. The kitchen table had sand or something on it. I had to clean It myself when we arrived, which made me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the place. (I did alert the property to manager about this). As the days went by, I noticed that dust was evident around vents, and on the molding. Kitchen cabinets had grime around the handles, which I tried to clean initially, to no avail. C 'estlevie

Perfect beach location

This property exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for my husband and I for a week get away near Charleston. You cannot beat the proximity to the beach as well as the ability to eat and shop within the Kiawah neighborhood. The rental was clean, comfortable, and was well stocked with necessary supplies. Communication with the homeowner was excellent. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Property is very nice and location is excellent. This is the second time we stayed there. Living area could use another piece or two of furniture and an additional lamp or two. Water pressure in shower is low and should be increased.

Just Relax

We came to Kiawah to get away from the rigors of being retired at home during a pandemic. Caregiving, grandparenting, and life in general will stress the body and mind over time. After a week at Mariners Watch, my bride of 48 years and I are recharged and ready to get back to "work". It's the perfect place to avoid the crowds, get back to nature, and relax. Will be returning.

Close to beach

This little place was a close walk to the beach. Small, but has everything you need. The screened in porch was very nice, but we could not get the lights to come on. We wish bikes had not been so expensive to rent for the day due to delivery fees. The property could use some minor maintenance repairs. It could also use a deep clean of cabinet fronts, drawers, carpet etc. Otherwise a nice place to stay close to the beach for two!

Great beach vacation!

Kiawah is a new favorite of ours for vacations. We had to cancel our family vacation last year but thought we had to do something special this summer for our well being. The wildlife in and around the ocean is so much fun to spot! And even with my covid anxiety, I felt you can really avoid the crowds here. We ate all of our dinners on the screened patio (meals were spruced up by going to Storey Farms and Harris Teeter) and enjoyed listening to the waves at night.

We purchased our cottage on Kiawah Island in summer of 2005, and I began renting it on VRBO during the weeks we were not able to enjoy Kiawah ourselves. In 2007, a friend on nearby Seabrook Island asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner.
