Nice cottage

We enjoyed our stay here, its located centrally to where we wanted to be. South Creake is a quiet sleepy village. The cottage was in great condition and was very clean on arrival. Parking for 2 cars. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Only downside is that the cottage is on a busy road and noise was an issue when in bed as both bedrooms face the main road.

Fab stay with our 2 doggos

Sandpiper cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and our two very large dogs - the enclosed courtyard worked brilliantly as our dogs sleep outside. The amenities were spot on and it was super clean and practical. We took our own throws to make sure the beautiful furniture didn't acquire any pooch fur. The bed was also really comfy. Walking distance to a park and pub and easy drive to dog friendly beaches. Best dog pub was the Orange Tree at Thornham. We'll be back

A wonderful Norfolk escape

We booked this cottage to stay over new year, as it would be our first one as a family of three and we wanted to celebrate together. The cottage was absolutely charming, and in the perfect location for us to explore many areas of Norfolk having never visited the area before. The amenities were modern and the beds extremely comfy. There was plenty of parking and a lovely fire - perfect after a cold day on the windy beaches! The only reason for not giving the cottage 5 stars in every category, was due to there being quite a lot of dog hair in the lounge area. This didn’t phase us too much as we were aware it was a dog friendly property, however just a minor point for improvement for the hosts. Otherwise, this really was the perfect New Years break for a very reasonable price considering all that was included and the time of year. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the countryside.

Perfectly located well equipped cottage

Beautifully renovated cottage, which was comfortable and well equipped. Great location - all coastal destinations and market towns within easy reach, and some great restaurants nearby too.l

A very comfortable cottage in a quiet village

The cottage is very comfortable with all the expected facilities. A nice, private out door space and parking for two cars.

Compact but lovely cottage for four

We had a lovely week in this cottage. It is comfortable, well equipped and and has been modernised and decorated to a high standard. The downstairs living area is quite spacious however the bedrooms are fine but compact. The spiral staircase would not be easy to negotiate for an infirm person.

A short stay in South Creake

Generally a well appointed comfortable cosy cottage, within easy reach of excellent pubs/restaurants; well located to explore the delights of North Norfolk - especially for walking. Specific points to mention - the supplied bathroom towels are neither large, nor very effective; a couple of pyrex bowls/measuring jug would be a good addition to the kitchen.

Great little cottage

Fantastic cottage - great for small families (upstairs best suited to those under 6ft tall!) Very well equipped and location perfect for exploring North Norfolk coast. Would definitely return.

Great location and base. Cosy, comfortable and well furnished

Had a great stay. Cosy and comfortable and heated up quickly! The house was in excellent condition and well furnished. Great for our dog too with enclosed garden (access to a hose for a muddy dog and an OS map would have been useful). The welcome pack was appreciated.

Lovely cottage , but

Sandpiper is a lovely cottage, really well kept. We are looking for a place to stay on a regular basis to visit family in the area and to look at properties to buy. Would have loved to book this cottage again but there is a house being built next door but one and the builders who start work early park right outside the cottage windows so at times you just look at builders vans and Travis Perkins lorries. The noise in the summer from a building site would for us spoil sitting outside. Also on the Friday night what sounded like a coach load of hyaenas arrived in the adjoining cottage. Music was thumping with the doors to the cottage open and there is a hot tub!! Bearing in mind it's January so we were in side and could hear all that was going on, just think what it would be like in the summer if inconsiderate groups used the cottage with the hot tub. Such a shame as Sandpiper really is a very nice cottage. I say I would recommend this cottage, just don't use it if you want a peaceful break.
