Cabin 1 (Bayview) is a cozy, open concept private cabin on semi-lakefront property. 4 bedrooms sleeps 8 with new comfort enhanced mattresses. Each unit has its own washer and dryer. Brand new with new modern décor. Large windows in main living area to let the light in and enjoy the amazing view and sunsets. Large private deck with BBQ. This unit has 2 bedrooms plus full bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms with half bath downstairs with its own separate entry. Parking, boats welcome. Large private dock with buoys for boat moorage, water trampoline for guests use. Shared hot tub and fire pit area. Great spot for all people, kid friendly. Property backs onto the trail systems, maps and guides available on Shuswap Tourism website.

Lovely Cabins
Property is tucked into the side of the mountain and the driveways are a bit steep, however the overall property is beautiful with great views of the lake. There are several cabins on the property and a couple of nice spots for a fire and hot tub that is for everyone’s use. The cabin was very clean and well updated. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cutlery, cooking pots and pans etc. Cabin 1 has two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level. The downside of this that’s not in the description, is that there is no inside access to the lower level. Those staying on the lower level have to walk outside and up to the main level entrance to access the kitchen and living room. This may be an issue for families with children. Otherwise the Cabin was very comfortable, the beds were soft and cozy and we enjoyed our stay. The host Victoria was very quick to respond to any inquiry.

Great atmosphere great location!
Over all, the stay was perfect. Quiet, serene and so close to the water. Victoria was really quick to respond and even faster to react if we needed anything. If I had to complain about anything, it would just have been the broken screens on the windows. Everything else was perfect!

Perfect place for our girls trip
The bayview cabin at blind bay was perfect for our group of 6 ladies. Close to the lake with beautiful views. The walk was only 2 or 3 minutes down the stairs and across the street. The cabin was clean and spacious. All bedrooms were comfortable. The portable a/c was great during the heat wave, but not needed at night as the large windows let in a lot of cool evening air. The deck was so nice at night. The shared hot tub (with other cabins) was cleaned regularly. We were even able to get a couple fires in at the fire pit (before the province wide ban took effect). Finz resort and marina with restaurant is a short walk down the road. As well as a grocery store and gas station. The lake is amazing. This location is great for friends, family, couples and even young kids.

Friends getaway
Stayed for a few nights with a group of girlfriends. Overall loved the location and closeness to the lake/dock. The four bedrooms split between two floors worked well for us. Only issue was some items were not stocked for us prior to arriving but were delivered when requested. Also, there should be a note about how steep the driveway is to access the unit as this may make it hard to access for some individuals. All in all we really enjoyed our time in Blind Bay and would stay here again!

Lovely but could use some maintenance.
The location was lovely, great view of the water from the main suite area. We did not realize that the 2 bedroom were completely separate from the kitchen living room area. We asked for fans and got them immediately - no a/c in the bedrooms, and close to road so street noise can be an issue for those who are light sleepers. The kitchen was well stocked. Would have appreciated a later check out as the expectation is that dishes are washed and put away on check out - which took quite a bit of our morning. Screen door was torn so having it repaired would allow for more airflow.

Great spot for a family vacation
We stayed for 5 days as an end of school year / start of summer vacation. There were 4 adults and 4 children. The property was fully stocked with everything we needed for the entire duration of our stay. The unit was spacious and the kids enjoyed the freedom the downstairs bedrooms provided. The owners were extremely cooperative and helpful with boat moorage and trailer storage. We would definitely recommend!

Interesting property, built on a hill overlooking the lake. A little bit of a steep hill to drive up. Beautiful views, nicely done inside, great beds and kitchen. Didn't get to use the deck as we didn't get to spend much time there and unusually cold weather for the middle of May.

Nice stay in the woods
This was a pretty cabin, although we didn't realize it was a group of cabins. There was a nice view of the lake, but a lot of up and down trekking to get to it. We enjoyed the calm.

My wife and I came out with friends for the Thanksgiving weekend. Has some family over from Chase/Kamloops and did up a Prime Rib with all the trimmings for dinner. Kitchen and BBQ had all the essentials and we had dinner with 11 people - lots of room. Lots of fun. Great view of Blind Bay. Good value for the cost.

Amazing cabin!
This cabin was so beautiful and well set up! Loved the shared hot tub. Victoria was great to deal with. Would highly recommend this cabin and I bet the others on the property are great, too, if you needed to book multiple cabins.

Wonderful place
Together with my daughter and two granddaughters we stayed two nights at Blind Bay Hideaway on our recent trip from Vancouver island to Alberta. The cabin is fully equipped with basic food items, lots of dishes, pots and pans. The beds where wonderful. The deck has a lovely view of Shuswap Lake, and we sure enjoyed having a barbecue to make our dinner. Victoria is a great hostess and was there quickly when we needed anything. We all enjoyed our stay.
