Large garden with patio and garden furniture. 500-acre natural woodland. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply. There are 3 steps and slopes in the garden. Sorry, no hen or stag parties.. Loch Long View sits in a commanding position high above the water on its own spacious plateau, with far reaching views of the loch and surrounding mountains. The cottage has been thoughtfully constructed with an exterior of Siberian larch, which has aged beautifully and compliments the dark green framed windows. Set within a 500-acre croft, there are sheep and Highland cows roaming the hillsides, as well as lots of other wildlife including red deer, pine marten and a variety of eagles. There is plenty of space around the cottage and a large garden. At the back of the house and up the hill is an unfenced loch, home to brown trout.

The interior has French oak flooring throughout. On the ground floor there is a dual-aspect kitchen with lots of natural light and views along the length of Loch Long. The large living room has a grand wood burner to cosy up infront of, and there is a bathroom also on the ground floor.

The French oak continues to flow up to the first floor, and with the abundance of natural light, works really well giving the two bedrooms a very spacious and calming feel, especially as the windows act as frames featuring the surrounding Highland landscape. Both the master bedroom and the twin bedroom, have unsurpassed views along the loch and the mountains. There is a bathroom between the bedrooms leading off the large landing.

Loch Long View is perfectly placed to explore the Isle of Skye with the bridge across to the island only 10 minutes’ away by car. Wester Ross with its highlights of Applecross and Torridon for more mountains and secluded coastline are also close by. Shop, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.

Just perfect
The cabin is beautifully situated on a hill with stunning views on Loch Long. No other noise than the little streams, wind and birds. The cabin is dog friendly, comfortable, spacious, tastfully decorated and well equiped. The owners provided a warm welcome and came to meet us for a chat just before we left. Julianna and her husband are very friendly and hospitable people. The isle of Skye is nearby and we spent most of the days going on day hikes on the island with our dog. We had a wonderful week! A place well recommended! Thank you Julianna!

The cottage is a bit pricey for a four person sleeper.
The cottage is a bit pricey for a four person sleeper. The location and the area is nice. People around are really nice and helpful. The kitchen is not very well equipped. Could not find a bottle opener. Neither is the dish cupboard. The check out time 10am is a bit tight given the check in time was at 3pm. On the checkout day we were pretty much rushed out of the property by the cleaner. We were all packed. The cleaner showed up 5 mins before 10am and gave us an attitude for still being in the property. We left within 10 mins almost forgetting quite few stuff.

The house is amazing! Very spacious and the wooden style gives a very cozy atmosphere. The complete house seems to be newly built, the kitchen is well equipped, modern and very spacious. We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back at any time without a second thought.
