Beautiful Thatched Norfolk Coastal Cottage

Beautiful thatched Norfolk flint cottage filled with character and everything you need for a cosy and comfortable holiday in a picturesque Norfolk village just one mile from the coast. The house has been newly renovated, with brand new kitchen and bathroom and newly decorated rooms.

The gorgeous seaside town of Cromer with huge sandy beaches and a pier is just down the road.

Stituated in gorgeous rural setting only a one mile walk down a lovely path to the North Norfolk coast at Overstrand. Northrepps village has a country pub just 2 minutes from the house and there are beautiful walking and cycle trails passing through the village surrounded by woodland and countryside which link up to the cliff top walks.

The cottage is grade 2 listed and has been renovated just this summer to retain its character and bring it back to life. Tastefully decorated in vintage style with plenty of space we are sure all guests will build great memories here.

The cosy living room with comfortable and stylish quality furnishings and large dining table will provide plenty of space. Books, games and toys are provided at the cottage and a welcome pack.

Quality iron feather and black beds and brand new comfortable mattresses can be found in the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and the other room is a twin. The third bedroom has a single bed. We do have a travel cot to lend guests on request.

Please note we currently don't provide towels unless they are booked in but all quality bedding is provided. Energy usage bill is not included on longer rentals above 2 weeks and meter readings are taken on arrival and departure.

Pop along to nearby seaside Cromer just a few miles away with its wonderful sandy beaches, shops, eateries and seaside entertainment including the end of the pier shows.

Northrepps stay
Harebell cottage is an attractive cottage in a very quiet village. The village is within easy drive of supermarkets etc. There's lots to do in the area. The village playground and field were a hit with the children, it was very useful as the cottage doesn't have much outside space Overstrand beach is very close, and is far less busy and commercialised than Cromer or Sheringham, which suited us. We found what we needed in the cottage and it was comfortable. It was nice to have a dishwasher and tablets, any visitor should accept that its an old cottage so, yes, it's small and the stairs are very steep. Criticisms: It took us a while to realise that the remote control for the DVD player had no batteries in it. It would have been nice to have had powder for the washing machine. The standard of housekeeping should be improved, there were dusty surfaces, old tissues and receipts under the beds, some stains on bedding, and the kitchen floor looked decidedly grubby, Mopping the floor with hot water (there was no floor cleaner to use) showed just how dirty it was!

Disappointing
Uncomfortable beds with Old pillows. Not enough hot water. Hence cold showers for some. Wrong info left for WiFi access. No warning the stairs are so steep.

A lovely week at Harebell Cottage in Northrepps
The cottage was small, but cosy and with everything we needed. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was. It was in a beautiful location with ample opportunities to explore the local area. Very close to the seaside town of Cromer, with its lovely pier and eating places. We spent time on the North coast and a day on the Broads. There was so much more to do. For September we were blessed with fantastic weather and feel very lucky. An excellent stay in Harebell Cottage.
