About this property

Stylish + Spacious 1 Bedroom Flat in Hammersmith

Summary:
Experience London at your pace and style, at our contemporary apartment featuring an original Victorian fireplace, situated in beautiful Hammersmith.

The Space:
Our apartment contains a chic living room with a sofa bed, dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, one bedroom and bathroom, as well as an antique fireplace in the bedroom.

The homey bedroom comes with a comfortable double size bed, and fresh sheets for a beautiful nights rest. There is also a massive window that brings a lot of natural light, for a great way to wake up every morning. The bathroom also comes with a toilet and a walk in fresh shower.

Lastly, the apartment also has triple glazing windows, which conveniently cancels out noise from outside the busy streets of London.

Guest Access:
You will have full private access to the property for the duration of your stay.

The Neighborhood:
At the restless heart of Hammersmith where you’re surrounded by busy shopping centres, transport hubs and office developments, it’s surprising to remember that within a few minutes’ stroll you’ll find attractive riverside walks, tranquil parks and village like enclaves to explore. And for many, the appeal of the area lies in this heady contrast of the convenient and the cultivated.
The Grove is an award winning gastropub . Among a scattering of riverside watering holes, The Dove is the most atmospheric with a history going back to the 17th century. Low beamed and with reputedly the tiniest bar in Britain, it is a popular spot from which to view the annual Boat Race as it heads towards Mortlake. Also by the Thames is the world class River Cafe, which launched the career of Jamie Oliver. Nearby Brackenbury Village has a thriving social scene and lots of lovely places to eat and drink.
With its central location, playing fields and picturesque lake, Ravenscourt Park provides a tranquil oasis amidst the activity of busy Hammersmith. Just a short walk from the station, it’s a popular spot for an after school walk or weekend picnic. Just across the river in Barnes, the London Wetland Centre is home to several important species of wildlife and is beloved by West London locals.

Getting Around:
Tube: Hammersmith is very well connected by Tube, with four different lines connecting through Hammersmith station. The District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines all serve Hammersmith, meaning locals have easy access to all corners of London.
Bus: Hammersmith station is a busy nexus for London buses and from here routes serve locations all across London. There are also several night buses and many others that run 24 hour services, including the 10 (to King’s Cross), 33 (to Fulwell) and 295 (to Clapham Junction).
Road: Hammersmith is located on the A4, which leads to the M4 in less than 15 minutes. From here, travel to the West of England is easy.
Cycle: It’s half an hour’s bike ride from Hammersmith to Piccadilly Circus, along mostly flat ground. Local group hfcyclists are a branch of the London Cycling Campaign whose active members support and campaign for cycling in Hammersmith.
Getting away: Heathrow Airport is half an hour’s drive away, with the journey by Tube taking a similar length of time.
If you’re looking for an easy commute, there are few areas in West London better located than Hammersmith. The tube station covers an impressive four lines over two connected stations (District, Circle, Piccadilly and Hammersmith & City) giving residents quick access to Central London and Heathrow Airport in around 30 minutes for any international travel. For commuting, Piccadilly Circus is just 16 minutes away, while further into North London a journey to Kings Cross St Pancras takes a speedy 24 minutes.

Other Things to Note:
Fresh bed linen, towels, fluffy pillows, toiletries and other necessities are provided for a comfortable stay. Our 24/7 support team will also be available if you ever needed anything more.

Stay here if Hammersmith works for you

Clean, comfortable, cozy, well-heated, plenty of hot water, good lighting. Area has lots of eateries and shopping. Best thing is that Hammersmith tube lines go directly to Heathrow (west) and to theater & tourist sites (east). European style stovetop (hob) is a challenge for Americans. Hair dryer was missing.. Apt door weighs a ton and you must simultaneously hold key in turned position, turn the knob, and tug VERY hard to open. Two flights of stairs, no elevator (lift).

Quick London Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We came for our son’s graduation from LAMDA. The property is close to the Tube, grocery store, pubs and coffee shops. The place was safe, clean and had all the amenities. We really enjoyed the flat and would definitely return!! Highly recommend!
