Lovely well equiped gite with open plan-living, kitchen, dining-room and a separate space upstairs for TV and relaxation. 2 bedrooms (with shower room/wc on each floor) each with king-size double beds but upstairs bedroom can have 2 single beds in place of double bed. Pool (not heated) shared with owners and in operation from about June to end September. Small enclosed garden in peaceful country location within easy reach of spectacular coast with its many sporting facilities. Good base for walking and cycling and from which to explore the many local chateaux and manor houses, shop in local markets or just chill out.

Lovely holiday

Great cottage, gorgeous pool and quiet, rural location. Luneray close by and had everything we needed and a great market on Sunday.

can much better

was good,but with a little more effort it can be much better. e.f. curtans in the living area,more towels we only had one set each and a topper would be the heating of the pool. the television did not work.

Very nice stay

It was wonderful in this enchanting little house with pool on quiet very very beautiful grounds. Evelyn is very friendly and helpful and was always very accommodating and available at all times., She even lent us bikes how nice! A great landlady. The location of the cottage is very good, we were often on the beach, in the climbing park, at markets, cycling, in the bison & wolf park, depending on the weather also swimming in the pool. We enjoyed the absolute tranquility. Splendid.

Pleasant country retreat

We were happy to stay in the house and enjoyed the pool although it was chilly due to the cool weather we have been having. Nice walks locally as most of the roads are so quiet and a lovely restaurant Table du Dun at Fontaine le Dun which has a few shops including a bakery and charcuterie. Veules les Roses is well worth a visit. We were disappointed that a hot tub was listed on Vrbo but there wasnt one. Evelyn our host was surprised a hot tub was listed as she has never had one she told us. She was kind and helpful to us and there were no issues with the property

Fijne plek om te vertoeven. Evelyn is een heel lieve gastvrouw die voor je klaar staat. Het huisje is geweldig om een week te verblijven in dit prachtige deel van de Seine Atlantique. Jammer dat we geen gebruik van het zwembad konden maken ivm het weer. Min puntje vonden wij dat je naar boven moet om tv te kijken.

Zauberhaftes Cottage, super Lage

Das Cottage ist liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und liegt ideal für Ausflüge in der Gegend. Die Vermieterin ist stets ansprechbar und hilfsbereit, der Pool ist sehr schön. Wir konnten ihn wegen des schlechten Wetters nur nicht so oft nutzen wie erhofft. Wir hatten schöne 2 Wochen dort!

Ruime gite, fijn zwembad

Fijne vakantie gehad in Brametot op het erf van Evelyn. Gite staat op ruime afstand van het woonhuis waardoor je privacy hebt, zeker ook door de aparte ingang voor de auto. zwembad daarentegen is pal naast het huisje waardoor je er zo inplonst. Evelyn is een charmante gastvrouw die je goed op weg helpt maar vooral ook je privacy gunt. krakend bed op de begane grond is het enige minpuntje wat wij konden ontdekken.

Eine tolle Auszeit

Fernab von dem alltäglichen Trubel, haben wir eine fantastische Urlaunswoche in diesem bezaubernden Häuschen erlebt. Das Meer mit seinen tollen Strandabschnitten, ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Aangename vakantie in een mooie streek

We hebben voor de tweede keer een fijne vakantieweek doorgebracht in het gerieflijke vakantiehuisje van Evelyn. Het zwembad hebben we wat minder kunnen gebruiken dan vorig jaar maar het weer was ideaal voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Voor kinderen is er heel wat te doen: hoogteparcours Accrobranche, pretpark Parc du Bocasse, het Lac De Caniel met rodelbaan, pedalo’s enz. Het dorpje Veules-les-Roses vlakbij is heel pittoresk en biedt heel wat eetgelegenheden. Mosselen zijn erg lekker en naar Belgische normen spotgoedkoop. Op een uur tijden zijn Rouen en Honfleur zeker de moeite.

Rust, stilte en groen

De gîte was in nette staat, zeer schoon. Het zwembad is niet verwarmd, wat maakt dat we niet hebben kunnen zwemmen, is jammer. De zon was aanwezig overdag, maar het water warmt niet genoeg op. De gastvrouw was erg vriendelijk en stond open voor allerlei vragen. Als er één min-puntje is, is dat het bed in de slaapkamer beneden verschrikkelijk kraakt. De matras is prima. Uitstapjes naar de kustdorpjes Veules les Roses, Etretat en Saint Valery en Caux situeren tussen 15 minuten en 1 uur rijden. Mooie dorpjes met fijne wandelmogelijkheden en zicht op de kustlijn.

Genieten in Haute Normandie

Wij hebben samen met onze kinderen genoten van een fijne en ontspannende vakantie in het huisje van Evelyn. Al van bij de aankomst werden we aangenaam verrast door de mooie, rustige ligging ervan. Het huisje zelf is erg gerieflijk, smaakvol ingericht en bovendien nog behoorlijk koel zodat we niet te veel last hadden van de hittegolf. Voor verkoeling zorgde natuurlijk ook het zwembad vlak naast het huisje waar de jongste niet uit weg te slaan was. De streek rond Fontaine-le-Dun is erg mooi, de kust is nog erg rustig naar Belgische normen en er valt heel wat te ontdekken in de wijde omgeving: het pittoreske Veules-les-Roses, het strand van St Aubin, de zaterdagmarkt in Dieppe, een rondvaart met een zeilboot in Fecamp etc. Kortom een fijne en ontspannende vakantie op slechts enkele uren rijden.

Erholung in der Normandie

Zwischen Feldern und Dörfern, am Ende eines grossen, parkähnlichen Gartens (am anderen wohnt das sehr nette, freundliche Besitzerpaar) liegt dieses hübsche, freundlich eingerichtete Cottage. Im angrenzenden Gärtchen und sehr geschütztem Poolbereich kann man sich wunderbar erholen. Es fällt schwer, dieses Idyll zu verlassen, aber die Cote d´Albatre, Seinetal und Rouen lohnen sich unbedingt und sind schnell erreicht. Tip: mit dem Fahrrad zum Bäcker oder die Fachwerkdörfchen und Herrenhäuser der Umgebung erkunden. Gerade im merkwürdigen Urlaubssommer 2020 die perfekte Wahl für einen entspannten, ruhigen Urlaub. Situated between fields and villages, at the end of a Garden like a park (at the other end there is the house of the very friendly owners) Is this nice, well decorated cottage. You can perfectly relax in the little courtyard and the sheltered poolarea.It is not easy to leave this idyll, but Cote d´Albatre, la Seine and Rouen are worth it and reached fast. Bring a bike to go to the bakery or discover the villages and manors. It was perfect for this strange summer of 2020. Thanks to Evelyn!

Fabulous property, great semi rural location on the edge of a village, perfect.

Spacious property great set up we were so lucky with the weather enabling us to have breakfast in the beautiful garden outside, on a couple of cooler evenings we were happy to eat around the dining table inside, the kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms were a good size and it was great for us to have use of two shower rooms. The pool was an added bonus as we weren’t sure we would use it in September but it was a real treat to be able to swim most days.
